Sidney Udorie didn't want to discuss a potential sale simply because he wasn't near the file despite calling the landline? The test drove amounted to a square route around the local industrial estate, lasting barely 5 minutes and a 30mph experience, this despite the M56 running past his business? Drove the vehicle home, and on a straight dual carriageway at 70mph the vehicle strayed massively towards the central reservation! An independent national garage identified alarming upright movement in the front wheels. Furthermore, a historical repair following an accident showed wrong front discs fitted resulting in a pityful15% breaking capacity. Further disturbing additional steering problems also came to light. I would even question the dubious MOT certificate that came with the vehicle when I was able to identify the issuing garage on Street View. Countless faults with the vehicle have resulted in me having to spend almost the entire purchase price in countless repairs. Only 1 key for the vehicle available despite attempting to tell me initially that a replacement would cost me around £60/£70 pounds. In fact this cost me £143. The car manual in the pouch was not relevant to the model I purchased. Sidney failed to register the transfer of the vehicle on-line with DVLA, despite him confirming he'd completed this whilst sitting in front of him on the day of purchase. I chased him up after 2 weeks when my log book failed to turn up. Neither was a 3 month guarantee given to me on the day. Sidney also failed to issue me with a receipt of sale, despite this in part being my fault for not realising, why wasn't this second nature to him? Despite asking him on the day for his professional appraisal of the vehicle, Sidney basically sold me a death trap, which in my view also questions how the AA Approval Scheme is validated? I didn't give Sidney the opportunity to make the repairs, as by this point I had zero confidence in the operation and didn't feel for one minute that any such repairs would have been conducted to the required standard. So in this respect, I wholly accept that the vast cost of these repairs were completely undertaken of my own volition. The car continues to cost me and am so fed up with it now that I have finally decided to write this damning review - something I wouldn't do lightly.

Sidney at Meriton Auto Link wont answer calls or messages after pretending to fix my gearbox on the dodgy car he sold me, another garage told me nothing has been done to the gearbox thats why its still broken and sidney wont do anything under the so called 6 months warrenty i have with him. Hes a con man the warrenty isnt worth anything he takes the car back for weeks at a time pretends to fix the faults he sold it with and then returns it the same way you sent it to him. Now hes ignoring all calls/ messages and left with an unusable car that i paid £4500 for 2 months ago nothing bit faults from day 1,

Bought two cars from Meriton Auto Link almost 2 months ago, problems with both, he took one back to fix the heater and a gearbox fault under the so called 6 month warrenty, kept the car for a month finally got it back and nothing had been done, had to send it back again and finally thought it had been fixed for the Engine light to come on after 3 days and no heater again, il fix it in 2hours he says and again he cant do it today, so after buying this car ive been able to drive it for about 6 days! Sure they just keep it until the petrol runs out then return it unfixed!! Not to mention theyve not even bothered fixing the 2nd car yet! Dodgy unsafe cars sold and when you take them back under the worthless 6 months warrenty for faults that should have been sorted before the sale nothing gets done!!!

I bought a car for my wife from Meriton Auto Link about a month ago , and i have to say we are very happy with our purchase. We had all our questions and queries addressed prior to our purchase. We didn't feel as if we were pressured to buy the car, which was a breathe of fresh air in comparison to other dealerships. Keep up the good service, thanks again

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER I have recently bought a second hand car from this dealer. Saw the advert on Gum Tree and the specs were good.. little bit too good to be honest. I rang them up to see if i could haggle a price on the selected car but no luck as he assured me the car was in mint condition, serviced and MOT. I did a background check on the DVLA MOT history ( pretty good i must so please anyone buying a car so it its free! ) it stated that the car had failed an MOT in 2016 on numerous things (not too concerning as it just part of wear and tear. However it showed passed later on in 2016 so thus meaning i thought all problems had been fixed. When i asked about the MOT the guy explained that he would put one on the car for me and also a service. I collected and paid for the car in full and drove away looked at the MOT certificate and it showed the advisories it had failed on in 2016 but the next MOT was due in Sept 2018. To sum it up i took it to a local garage and they explained that they should not have sold me the car in that condition and how they managed a pass MOT was beyond our belief. I am not mechanic, i could'nt change a bulb never mind anything else. Just a little warning to people who are thinking of buying from these... pay a little bit extra and buy from a proper dealer. Ive spent £250 on top of what i paid for the car so bear that in mind when shopping there.
Jo in response to Stay well away from this dealer
Hi, there have u been Able to claim back your money u been paying extra? I bought a car a couple of days ago car starting with problems when I drove iT brought iT to a garage who advised me the car is not roadwoarty and quoted a repair cost of £1500 Meriton Auto Link is now completly ignoring me
Don't be fooled. If you are unsure about cars take someone who knows plenty about them with you. Don't ring first, just turn up unannounced so they cannot warm the engines first as I witnessed after leaving the gates (unfortunately after we'd purchased the car) Bought a Mazda 6 estate, within 2 weeks the engine was billowing smoke. Warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on, they were not willing to help resolve the issue and neither was meriton autos. Complete waste of money and time. BUYER BEWARE!!!
