A rude/arrogant sales person told me exactly how many cars they were supposedly selling each month. Taken with a pinch of salt as obviously a second hand car salesman. His whole demeanour was nonchalant from the off. Decided not to go ahead as I would not want to give these people any of my money. Im sure he will come back with some b/s but for me avoid this company.

Nothing is too much of a chore for these guys. I took my car up that I hadn’t even purchased from them as it had a couple of issues and they diagnosed the issue for me there and then. Extremely polite and professional. Thank you

Purchased a Range Rover Evoque in October 2019 and part exchanged my Mercedes C220. Wished I hadn't as the turbo blew up in July this year. It cost me just shy of 3k to rectify/replace. During this time the computer also flagged up that there was an issue with the front brakes. I was assured the front discs and pads were done prior to me purchasing. Unfortunately whoever Merv Hanam got to do the brakes didn't replace the brake sensor wires. I rang to inform them about the turbo and that I was very disappointed as have only done 4k in the car since purchasing. I also informed that one of the hoses that connects the fan to the turbo was missing and that it looked like it had never been connected. I was told that the Range Rover was a part exchange and they weren't really interested. I would not recommend and will not be purchasing from them again. Update: This Evoque is now needing a new engine but Land Rover have a back order so could be a long wait. The other very disappointing fact is that its at the cost of anything from £10k. Labour is extra. The Evoque is only booked at £17k. If you have money to burn buy a Range Rover !!

Bought a Range Rover Sport from Merv Hannam without viewing, everything was as Alex described, excellent car. Delivered FOC within a few days. Just had an issue with jammed piston and calliper (wouldn't have been known when sold), which was handled immediately, and without question. Rare to find such an honest, reliable Car dealership, with a warranty to match! Exemplary service. Will be back!

Nick from Merv Hannam Specialist Cars was very helpful, I was undecided as to which car I wanted to buy and he gave great advice with absolutely no pressure. I did buy my dream car from him and I couldn’t be happier.

Words cannot express my disappointment I feel following my purchase from Merv Hannam. The Land Rover Discovery had problems from the moment I arrived home, after some half hearted attempts to fix the problems I was still left with an unroad worthy car and thousands of pounds out of pocket, I was told that to rectify the problem they would help find a new car of equal value, after months of chasing them with no response I gave up and remain disappointed to this day.

I bought a Merc C63 AMG and found the guy I dealt with (Alex) a pleasure to deal with. No hard-sell or BS, did everything promptly and professionally. Would not hesitate to use this dealer again and would recommend to friends. Thanks! Oli
