Purchased a used car Audi A1(61 plate) at full asking price with supposedly 3 months gold warranty. Within the 1st month I've had nothing but problems and now the car requires a full engine rebuild. The company director, Wayne has refused to supply me the warranty company details to allow me to claim within the warranty period. This company is unprofessional and I would urge any potential buyers to stay away, unless you are willing to throw your hard earned cash away. I am now pursuing this issue with trading standards! Not worthy of any stars but wouldn't let me place a review unless I picked one.

Thanks for those kind words john, it's a nice part of the job when you do business with people like your self, hope to see you again when you need another car.
After contacting Midland Motorcars concerning a temperature gauge fault I left my car with them for repair. When I collected the car I was shown a picture of the gauge working. After an hours drive my gauge was still not working and 60 miles had been put on the clock during the time it was with them. I contacted them and they were scathing in their reply saying a Renault specialist had said there was not a problem. I took it to Renault who had to keep it for 3 days and order parts before it was repaired. I do not feel that this company is not trustworthy.

When this car was returned to us with a suspected temperature gauge fault we had to use the vehicle with a diagnostic machine plugged in to show the vehicle temperature to see if the gauge was corresponding with the diagnostic reading, this was the reason for the extra mileage being put on the car while we had it, but it was not 60 miles as the customer states. We found that when the vehicle reached certain temperatures the gauge did change as it was supposed to and took a picture to show the customer for her piece of mind, in the customers defence it did take a little longer for the temperature gauge to change than i would usually expect so i had it checked by 2 garages one of them being a renault specialist who when told of the issue checked it and found that there were no problems. I trust the garages that we use and the customer took the car back. The customer then emailed a few days later to say they were still not happy, my email back to them was full of detail explaining the process we had gone through with the vehicle and i also said if they were not happy with our diagnosis then they should take it back to a renault dealer and make use of the free manufacters warranty that was passed on to you when you bought the vehicle. Unfortunately the customer still felt the need to leave this review after we felt we had done everything we could to help.
I bought a vehicle from here in February and I have had an issue with a whistling noise. I reported this to the dealership and the dealer didn't want to help, he just said to come back in a month if it gets any worse and he said he had been in touch with the warranty company but when I called myself they said that they hadn't heard from him. The car was clean and in good shape and was a reasonable price but I am not happy with the aftercare and I wouldn't recommend Midland Motor Company.

Hi, sorry you feel that you had a bad experience with us when you purchased your car. When you brought it back in there was a slight whistle from the turbo which we felt for the age and mileage of the car coupled with the fact that there was no problems with the way the vehicle was driving the best course of action would be to see if the noise stayed the same or got any worse over a 1 month period. As we never heard from you after a month we could only assume that the noise hadn't got any worse and the car was still driving well. The warranty provided will cover the turbo both for parts and labour if it breaks down, we felt the noise was acceptable on the age and mileage of that car.
I would happily do business with Midland Motorcars again, the prices were on par if not better than previous dealerships I'd visited and the bloke at the dealership was very fair. He resprayed the bumper and valeted the car for me without any arguments.
