That’s all that They do is just lie all the time & send out fake documents ,JAMES need to be nicked for fraud .He doesn’t know any different but to tell lies .I’m sure he will get what’s coming to him.

You won't get your money because he doesn't have any.. Him and his partner (who works for an accounting firm) are amazing con artists. We purchased a car in November, had issues the day we collected it. Went up to his unit multiple times and each time we went was either bailiffs trying to clear him out or the police because he assaulted the bailiffs. Its about time he shut shop completely as one day he will mess with the wrong person.

Ohh my God I should check the reviews. I did purchase a car from this James on the 14th February 2023 I did pay in 2 instalment and the car was supposed to be delivered on Monday 20th February 2023. Suddenly he did send me a long email saying the car got problem need to go back to the garage for a check up. I did call my bank a d advice to wait 48 hours to allow the company to refund before them takes action. So I asked James for a refund and says to wait 2 Working days and today I did check my account still nothing so I will contact my bank. My brothers are looking for him aswell as his landline is connected with his moblie.

Anon in response to Avoid this company dissolved since 2017
MSP ltd has been dissolved since 2017 and James Diffey was part of that. James Diffey is Director of Edward James group which trades as MSP. Apparently in between then it was trading with no directors at all and no one owned it. Diffey also doesn’t know who he bought the business from or when…well that’s what he claimed in court anyway. He is a crook and a liar. He will take your money and not think twice about it. I wouldn’t hold any hopes of getting your money back
Evelyne in response to Avoid this company dissolved since 2017
I did pay by bank I did contact the bank and asked me if I did receive the good I say I never received it so I’m waiting for a refund and James my brothers are looking for him a d trust me they will get it just to say hello 🤣🤣

I have the same problem bought a car which was faulty so he took it back to be repaired since January 2022 ,then the car couldn’t be repaired & a refund was agreed last March 2022 & here we r February 2023 still listening to his lies & excuses .Don’t believe what he says he is a compulsive liar & doesn’t know any different .he thinks he is smart by doing what he is doing But his time will come . He’s got a queue of people after him for money & cars
Evelyne in response to Avoid this company dissolved since 2017

Avoid at all costs. Purchased a car in November from James. James is a compulsive lier, quick to take your money. Makes lots of promises but never delivers. You've been warned, take my advice and run (trust me)

We brought a car from James (the director) all we got was excuses as to why he couldn't deliver the car, so we asked for a refund and yet we're still waiting for the refund 2 and a half months later. More excuses.. he's trying to blame it on his bank and all sorts. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!
Chris G in response to No Car & No Money
You’re very kind unlikely to get your money bank. He is a con artist and a liar. Expert at defrauding and knows how to get away with it. Favourite line….I’m only an employee. We have been trying to get our money back for 3 years. He only appeared in court for the last 2 occasions as we gave the bailiff his home address. Do a lookup for all of the unsettled CCJs costs about £6. Even if you win at court he has a debenture loan against the vehicles so he owns nothing.
Yolanda in response to No Car & No Money
I know exactly where ur coming from .This man is getting away with frauding everyone the police don’t care ,I’ve been waiting for a refund since March 2022 ,all he does is lie . Surely something need to be sorted with what he is doing .
If it would be possible to leave a zero star review I would, these guys are nothing short of criminals. A long story that has rambled on since February where I returned a faulty vehicle, I haven’t seen the car since. Multiple attempts to reason with the director James Diffey who is a compulsive liar just don’t attempt to involve yourself with this man you’ll regret it for as long as you live. After months of chasing and receiving multiple compulsively untrue responses I attended the premises where James offered to but my car back of me for almost £2000 less than I paid for the car which in itself is a joke but I wanted free of this nightmare so reluctantly agreed to his proposal. The conman took my bank details back in May and told me the payment would be in my account within 3-5 working days. Unsurprisingly the money never arrived. I now have debt collectors acting on my behalf to retrieve my money. I urge anyone and everyone who has ever dealt with this individual as it appears there are hundreds who have had the misfortune of his company to share your stories with everyone and drag his name through the mud. Avoid small claims court at all cost, this guy knows every trick in the book and even if you win, you’ll never get your money back anyway so save yourself the hassle. I have debt collectors acting on my behalf who will retrieve my money back eventually and will hopefully harm his business’ reputation as they persist in their efforts. Let’s hope one day that James’ luck runs out and he ends up where he belongs, behind her majesty’s cosy prison walls.

Sue Newman in response to Criminals, avoid at all costs.
He did the same to me when he was trading under one of his previous businesses. The car I bought only lasted 2 weeks, he took the car back off me to repair. I didn’t see it for a whole year and that was after a court hearing. He lied in county, denied he was the owner, said he was just an employee which made it difficult to take the matter further. However, I did get the car back after the court hearing which he said he’d fixed, again he lied, we had to pay to get it towed back - it cost me £7k in the end. I’m amazed he’s not in prison and how he’s still allowed to trade I’ll never know. There are Hundreds of customers like us. The fact that you got ANY money back at all, your lucky.
carine varaez in response to Criminals, avoid at all costs.
Hi,/ yep i got done too. Can you clarify why not go through the small claims court as i am about to start the process. Shame no-one put those reviews on google, i wouldn't have got involved, but hey ho. please contact me on frenchbird_fr@yahoo.co.uk
James and Andrew are both liars been waiting two weeksfor 335d Bmw that they keep saying is being sorted for mot .Now they won’t answer phone and not respond to message asking for money back
Yolanda in response to Con men
I know exactly where your coming from,I purchased a vehicle from these liars ,James does nothing but tell lies .I have heard the same story since January been waiting for refund from end of March & also sent me fake documents to try & prove it has been sent but I’m still waiting .
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I bought a zafira vxr from here. I live miles away so bought it unseen. I phoned them and was told it was in fantastic shape and needed nothing mechanically so I bought it and they delivered it. After it was delivered I checked the car out which was covered in rust, paint flaking off everywhere, smoking and spluttering, steering wasn't working. I messaged them and explained the issues and said I wanted a refund and asked them to collect the car. They said it needed to be checked by a mechanic first and to get quotes on the repairs. I did this wasting time and money getting this done. My local garage were shocked at how unsafe and in bad shape thr vehicle was. They said there was no way it would have passed a real MOT as they found at least 10 MOT fails amongst the other long list of issues. I sent them the info from the garage and have been ignored for a week now since sending the requested info and still requesting collection and a refund. Looks like I'm heading down the legal route now.

Go down the legal route now..he’s trying to run you out of time. You have a legal right to refund under sale of goods act due to you instantly contacting them. Saying you had to get inspection first is garbage! Very experienced con man
Suzanne Newman in response to Avoid these thieving low lives!
Good luck with taking him to court. I took him to court as he kept my money and the car. In court he denied being the owner of the business, said the owner had gone missing, I couldn’t prove otherwise so ended up having to leave it because the judge said I could only sue the business owner and allegedly none knew where he was. He should be in jail but he’s a very clever accomplished liar and conman, I lost £7k. Sue
Purchased a Land Rover Discovery from MSP and had no issues with it. The guys there are very knowledgeable and always happy to help. Will be going back

Bought a car from MSP in January 2022 ,after driving off site the car broke down & the engine management light came on , we took the car back & they said it was the battery as the car had being sitting there for a while.During the first week of driving the car it wasn’t changing gear & not going into reverse . I had 2 diagnostics done which showed the car had gearbox problems . The warranty which came with the car declined the work ,so James the director said to bring it back they would fix it .After weeks of been mucked about James said the car couldn’t be fixed & he would swop the car for another car on site which we agreed .On the day the car was due to be delivered James called to say the car had a fault & couldn’t be delivered,so agreed a full refund .This was at the end of March ,since then I have been lied to & sent fake documents regarding my £ 4800 .Everyday is the same going round in circles & not getting my money . I don’t have a car or no money to buy a new one ,but James doesn’t care ..As long he is ripping customers off. AVOID this car dealer !! Would put no star rating cos they are that bad.

Another Victim in response to A compulsive liar
Sorry but you are another victim of this low life con artist. The only thing you can do is go to small claims. He is very well known to trading standards. You have to be prepared for a very long wait to get your money back though. His expertise lies in working the system to his advantage to delay the process as long as possible. You are right he doesn’t care about the customer or their financial position as long as the money is in his pocket
Alan Robinson in response to A compulsive liar
don’t let him get away with it he’s a prick with no balls Just go down to the lying cheating scumbag place don’t leave till you get your money and let him calling the police that’s what I did. But if you don’t want to do that you can pay for a bailiff to go in for you to recover your full amount + charges
