Hello, Its hard to respond to a review with no information of who the customer was or the car they purchased? I assume that the warranty you are referring to was with the AutoGroup, We have stopped using the Autogroup since February and are now providing the warranties ourselves as we were receiving negative comments because of a third party company.

I had the same issue. After three weeks from driving the car out, had £700 of repairs needed. They said any issues at all bring it back and we will deal under the warranty. When I attempted to call, I was only advised that the 3 month warranty is for the best box and engine. They full check the cars before sending then out.....really? I now have a major leak, they explained not under warranty, cars are under cover so we would no know...thorough check? Never again. Sales superb, after sales non-existent.

After reading this review we believe a response was required to explain what had happened. You purchased a Audi A4 2006 with over 85,000 miles, you put a deposit on the vehicle to secure it and couldn't pick the car up for 3 weeks... We would usually charge a daily storage cost over the 7 days but we waived this fee. The car had already been cleaned but the day before collection we had it cleaned again so it was immaculate. On the test drive and in our ownership the cars heating worked perfectly well. On collection of the car you were happy, The very next day you took the car to your "Friend Mechanic" and tried to claim £1250 worth of warranty work through the AutoGroup, Obviously they contacted me as they knew you were trying to defraud them by replacing carparts that had not failed. In summary of this claim the actual item that needed to be replaced was 2 hoses as they had perished. We offered you to come back and we would fix asap at no cost to you, You refused I talked to the AutoGroup to find 2 local garages that the £50 hourly labour rate would not be exceeded... I provided these details to you... You Refused as you wanted MIXCARS and the AutoGroup to be financially worse off out of spite... You did however say that the car with perished hoses shouldn't be driven... So your car could have been recovered on to a recovery lorry and dropped off at the appropriate garage ... You refused. You were deliberately disrupting our business by phoning 25 times per day over a simple fix You also contacted the AutoGroup many times... again over a simple fix Your car has been FIXED, due to you not moving your car to a garage that was inclusive of rates you had to pay the difference of just over £40-£50. You have been completely inappropriate in your behaviour towards emails and phone calls to our staff at MIXCARS. You still have your warranty for the remainder of the 3 months and if any future issues arise then you will be again covered under the warranty. Mixcars.

I Have just purchased a car from Mixcars, they were helpful and very knowledgeable. You said you purchased a part exchange... so you purchased a sold as seen p/x to clear most prob £500 car that they just cleared off there four court. I hate reviews like this blaming good dealerships when they clear a p/x and you expect a brand new car.

Hello, I was surprised to read this review as the only communication from yourself was a phone call a few days after buying the car to say how good it was? I can confirm that this was a p/x to clear car as I do not put a warranty on any car that I take in that is of a sub standard quality in bodywork/service history/owners etc... So I sell these p/x cars very cheap and state to any customer and is on the invoice that they are sold as seen / spares & repairs / no warranty given... I always highlight this as I put it in BIG BOLD LETTERS on the invoice. It is a shame that you didn't contact us in relation to the issue you had, as I could have purchased the parts at trade value etc and possibly recommended a local garage that could have done the works for you at a cheaper price.
