Due to waning health we (Wife and I) sold our Manual Freelander 2 and looked for an Auto version so the Wife could more comfortably tow our caravan if my health ever went downhill again whilst we were away. Then we found MJ Saxby at Henfield what a relief! We found the exact vehicle we were looking for; made the purchase; had a couple of bits and bobs fixed; and now we have exactly what we wanted and are chuffed to bits. Over the years we have used many expensive garages for our vehicles with shoddy workmanship given by incompetent people driven by how much money can we make as quickly as possible We turned to mj saxby for help and they went the extra mile to accommodate us. We bought a Ford Ka for £3,250 from Saxbys in November of last year and have had nothing but problems. We have subsequently had a mechanic look at the issues with the engine which he says are significant with parts having been tampered with. Knocking noises from the engine compartment. Bolts in places bolts shouldn’t be. Head gasket blown. Leak from the radiator. Zip ties holding on the exhaust. This has cost us £ thousands to rectify and we’re still not running smooth. Unfortunately these problems occurred just after the three month warranty but we would expect a car from a garage to last longer than a year. I know they say it’s buyer beware but having looked through the reviews we thought this was a respectable garage.
