Advertised a Porsche on eBay and Piston Heads and claimed it was still for sale due to time wasters. I tried to arrange an appointment as requested and was told it was basically too much of an inconvenience and he did not think I was really interested. And unless I was prepared to buy it on the spot, he didn't want to waste his time??? Complete joke. I've never know a car dealership to respond this way. No wonder he can not sell the car!! I would not waste your time calling this guy.

A Mr Rob Fiddamen, wanted to test drive a Porsche 993 we have in stock. I told him that test drives were only possible if the potential buyer was happy with the cosmetic condition, history and price of the car, as the car was parked behind several other cars in a indoor building. Mr. Fiddamen then proceeded to tell me that he was very famous and wealthy and how dare i refuse him. I told him we have had a lot of tyre kickers and to avoid any unnecessary risk to our insurance that was not possible, upon which he has left this feedback. We are a small business, operate by appointment, don't employ sales people, cars are of the highest quality and have the MOST competitive price, in this case £5,000 less than our nearest competition. Unfortunately, this saving comes at the cost of a direct no nonsense approach. Sorry Mr. Rob Fiddamen.

Very good Mr Kumar. Think you totally missed my point, I was trying to explain I was too busy to be a time waster and kick some tyres, not that I am too rich or famous, neither of which I am. You will be please to know I purchased a Porsche the following day from a reputable classic car dealership. Yes I paid more than the price of your car. Your car was at a very good price, which is why I was interested in seeing it. But not a good enough price that I would be spoken to the way I was or embarrassed into buying it. Sales techniques like these, I thought, went out in the dark ages. People don't need to take my word for this, they just need to take a look at the other reviews below. At some point Mr Kumar, maybe you need to think that its not your potential customers that are getting it wrong?
Cars are poorly presented and the owner of MK Engineering did not seem particularly knowledgeable about the classic Mercedes he was trying to sell me. MK Eng ask similar prices to the top specialists yet their cars, services and warranty do not live up to this from what I saw. I travelled a long way and was left disappointed. I opted to buy privately.

This gentlemen insisted he was a buyer and wanted to view a classic Mercedes W126 as he had recently written off his 100,000 mile plus car as he had been paid over £7000 for his car. Reluctantly, we showed him our car in our storage barn and told him it was still awaiting some trims. He saw and drove our car and was satisfied. We pointed out to him the car was cheaper than a competitors by nearly £6000 and the price more than reflected this, yet he thought it was only worth £1,000 more than his 100,000mile car, due it being his budget. We are sorry that our 27 year old car was dusty, at least our car was rust free and drove like a dream. A warranty is available, you just have decide how much you want to cover at and what cost. We specialise in specific low mileage cars and present them as they are, sometimes on short notice if the buyer wants to see a vehicle in its raw state we give them the choice and privilege to allow them to make a more informed judgement. Quality is rare, quantity comes at a cost.
MK Engineering made arrangements so that I could view a car in the evening after work. They were uncomplicated, and quick to deal with. The car was in good condition, and as described. All of the forms including the manual was provided. They even delivered the car to my address, saving me a trip to collect it and drive it home.

I have been interested in a particular car for some time and when I was too late to buy one from this MK Engineering UK in January he contacted me again to say he was getting another similar car that had been off-road and needed a couple of things done but that it would be a "little more" than than one I was previously interested in. He said he would give me first refusal on the car. He then strung me along for months. I had to contact him every week to check on progress - he never initiated contact once in 3-4 months. He always claimed that he had no further news. Then all of a sudden (again after I chased him), the car was ready and he has it advertised for almost double what the first one was advertised for. It is a merc 500SL (G431TYX) on his website for £59.9k. He said he would sell it to me for £52k - so if you are interested in it, don't pay anything like the asking price. My advice to you however would be to steer well clear.

Unfortunately I read the reviews after my dealings with the company. The car I was looking to purchase was the Volvo stated in the previous review. I negotiated a deal with MK and then was asked to leave a £250 deposit. In the email outlining the costs, the car was £100 more than advertised. I took a screen print of the price on my first viewing so went back to mk explaining they had written the wrong price. In the meantime he had been on auto trader to up the price by £100 and told be to check the website. This instantly rang alarm bells where I was lucky enough to read the last review. His cars are cheap for a reason ... Stay away!!!
I travelled from the west coast of Scotland to buy a Volvo xc60 r designe with 9000miles, nine months old and cleared with hpi. After being reassured that the car was immaculate and was such a good car that he (Mahendra) was thinking of keeping it for himself and not to worry about him not being a main dealer because volvo warranty was so good. The reason he said for acquiring the car was that he had an arrangement with the lease company and it was terminated early. It was'nt much cheaper than the dealers but there was'nt many available, hence the travel. The car did look stunning on first sight (apart from scratches on the front near side wing that he told me would just buff out, NOT) checking the boot compartment I noticed a panel beating attachment wedged under the corner carpet on the near side (he said that he was carrying tools in the boot) after giving it a thorough going over I spotted that it had a repair done to the back drivers side quarter. While he was still playing games I tried to see if he would drop the price (not that i was iinterested anymore ) after my long travel and he would'nt budge a penny. Had to walk away. BE AWARE.
After purchasing a V.W. caddy van (first registered in Sept 14) from MK Engineering UK Ltd and trading in a Mitsubishi L200 on 12/3/15 (with a personalised reg and road tax until July 2015) in March 2015 the necessary forms where filled out by the dealer for the transfer of the personalised reg onto the V.W. caddy, I was informed that the Mitsubishi registration document would be sent to me with a new registration number and to then sign and date the registered keeper in section 9 (sale and transfer) and forward this to the motor trader to fill in his section, this then would be sent to the DVLA and I would then receive a refund on the remainder of the road fund licence (this would have been 4 months refund). I have today (1/6/15) received a letter from DVLA informing me that the Mitsubishi is still in my name and is not insured I have contacted this dealer asking why and also the reason I have not received a refund on my road fund licence and he has informed me that as he had sold on the vehicle to another motor trader it was their responsibility to sort this out. Also 4 weeks after acquiring the V.W. caddy I had a towbar fitted and the company who fitted this asked me if I was aware that the van had been involved in a rear end accident to which I was completely unaware as there was no mention of this when I purchased the vehicle. I will leave you the option of making your own assessment of MK Engineering UK Ltd.
