They haven't shut down they have moved to harrow and now call themselves harrow motorhouse, hope this helps
Mk Motorhouse is by far, the worst car dealership known to man. I have stupidly bought 4 cars from there in my time. Being young, I was caught by their attractive prices, but to find problems with every single car. Te first car was a BMW 3 series which started off well and was a quick transaction, but as the car developed issues they failed to correct them. Their after sales is horrendous. Being short of money I decided to trade in the car a year later and got an Audi A4 advant which i had only one week before trading it in again as the drive became worrying. I recieve a fine later in the month from a traffic company saying I'd been driving it in Aylesbury and reading in bus lanes and parking for too long. It was them. They didn't even send the V5 off. I then got an Audi A4 TDI. I recieved this car without being allowed a test drive. The car was driven off the forecourt needing a new clutch and ICU unit. I took the car back to get the repairs done. In exchange they handed me a Vauxhall Astra as a hire car. The car was old, dirty and had every warning light displayed on the dashboard. It was a car they recieved as a part exchange from someone else that was not checked over before lending it to me. I went nearly 3 weeks without my Audi with no communication and no answers to my questions when calling up to check the progress. I had to trade that car in due to finance issues to recieve another car which again, no test drive Was allowed. Stupidly I went along with this as I was in no position to wait any longer and pay the high finance payments. I drove this off the forecourt with the engine management light on, a wobbly interior mirror, a failure light for the oil pressure, uncomfortable bouncy suspension. I called and called the dealership asking for the car to be looked at and it took 2 weeks for me to beable to speak to the right person. They took my car in and promised everything would be fixed. They had the car for a further 2 weeks and the car came back in the same condition every issue was the same. Unbelievable. Once again tried to contact them and no answer. Again and again no answer. I finally got a response when my warranty was over and told me to bring the car in. Their attitude was awful and made remarks that showed no customer service what so ever and even had the cheek to say " why didn't you mention the issues were still there in your warranty!!" I tried ! But no one would respond. I even text the manager multiple times and he had read them as it indicated he had done, but when speaking to him later that week, he said he didn't get any messages. So iPhone is lying? I asked him to change the car as I could not afford to repair these issues myself and I waited 4 weeks for him to try and get me on a new finance. He told me no one would accept me and the proposal is failing. I contacted 2 finance companies he told me he had tried and they had no record of a proposal from that dealer or with my name on it. . . Disgusting. I'm now stuck with a car that is dangerous to drive with 2 kids and they don't give a monkeys. Avoid avoid avoid. Unsafe cars left right and centre there. I've tried to report them but they gave the company a very different story and I am apparently the one that doesn't answer them. Yes because I love driving a heap that is putting my kids at risk. Nice one guys. Brilliant service.

IS MK Motor house the one that is closed down in Fenny stratford i am concerned as we bought a Jaguar in january has been fine but just gone in for MOT and failed on break hose
Pretty average service, no major complaints but the car could have been in a lot better condition when I received it. I have had an issue with the car but have not yet been back to them about it so can't really comment on their ability to resolve issues.

Hi there. What BMW was it please? I am looking at one they have and would hate it to be the one you returned thanks in advance,
Mk Motorhouse were a bit slow with the transition of handing over the paperwork and car, The car wasn't exactly clean and they promised that the car would be serviced and it hadn't been. The aftercare was quite poor, bit disappointed with that but other than the issues stated the car is okay. Unfortunately I cannot say that I would recommend this dealership.

Initially the customer service was great no issues at all, that was until i went to look at the car properly, I was not offered a test drive either and was hurried through the paperwork, I collected the car after all i needed it so maybe an air of desperation and i'm guessing that was picked up on, 2 weeks after having the car i noticed funny noises so took it back, they did take it to sort it out but no offer this time of a hire care to use while they had mine, I then went and picked it up and noticed the mileage was still the same so when they had done the work no test drive was done and the issue was the brakes??? again a couple of days later the noise was back only worse had to take it back to the garage, I was told it would be booked in and it would be fine for me to drive until one of the guys moved it and put his foot on the brake, he then said he couldn't let me drive it.... in fact they had changed the wrong brakes in the first place unless both the front and back went at the same time? its not all bad as they fixed it but now a few days after my 3 month warrenty ran out the car is off the road with a mechanical problem that is going to cost me £800, not what you expect with a decent 2nd hand car from an approved dealer eh!!!!
I found MK Motors through Autotrader and went down to check out the car, as far as used car dealers go they were good, they were welcoming and polite, they didn't shadow me around the forecourt I was pretty much left to it. Once the deal was done I collected the car, it could have been cleaner in my opinion but it drives beautifully.

I'm happy with the car I bought from MK Motorhouse, the customer service was adequate, nothing special but as far as used car dealerships go they were fine. The transaction was straightforward and they do have a good variety of cars so I would recommend them.

Darren the car salesman was very nice and friendly initially, possibly because he was seling me a poor car. I was able to get finance on a Ford Fiesta 11 plate, when I bought the car I was told that I had three months warranty on it, within the first week I noticed that the engine wasn't running smoothly, I asked then to check it they took it in and explained that that is how the car ran, I got more information from an independent mechanic and they explained that it was one of two things, I then returned the car back they kept it for over a month explaining that they could not get the part and that it was being imported from another company(I suspect this was not the truth ) its a Ford. I had to complain on three occasions as they did not give me a like for like car they gave me a run down Renault Clio which did not work properly, I still now have complications with my car and I am still tied into a contract bought on false pretences, 5 months of having the car I have now spent over £400 pounds on the car and that is only because my partner now works at a garage and I pay no labour, when they looked at the piston that had fixed they had used SUPER GLUE to stick the engine over and was all over my spark plugs, shoddy job poor service never go MK Motorhouse again.
nick in response to Unalicious review MK Motorhouse
Hi I noticed your review recently regarding MK Motorhouse and I appear to have had a similar problem. I was told that the car came with a 3 month warranty by Darren only then to have an issue with the car and was told that the warranty was with MK Motorhouse and not the RAC. I too then had significant timescale and communication issues getting my car returned.
