David at Moto Tom can literally sell anything which for his position is brilliant but as a buyer it ends in frustration and and a never ending money trap! Issues are not resolved, services are not done. If you are not very car aware stay away as they see you coming and will take full advantage!

Bought vehicle from Moto Tom. On inspection the door trim was coming away from the door. Was advised this happened when the car got key'd. Door window mechanism not working on inspection . Was told "oh that's strange it worked earlier" and that all windows worked when he checked it. Fixed it before we bought it. Got it home and it malfunctioned again. Was told to put some oil on it. Found out when i got home the 2 back window mechanisms didn't work. Passenger side back and front mechanisms pull out of the door. Battery died within a week of having vehicle. Was told some people are unlucky and told to use motor warranty. Car and engine shakes at around 50mph. Was told the wheels had been balanced when we bought it. Took it to garage and was told all 4 wheels needed balancing. Balanced them and still shakes on acceleration. Tried to return vehicle within 30 days as is our legal right with faulty goods. Told it didn't warrant a return and their defence to court claim says no faults at all at time of purchase even after photo and video evidence sent. Safe to say the dodgiest car sales company i have ever dealt with.

Dear Ladies & Gentlemen, If you read our other reviews you will find the majority speak of how we are a very trustworthy company and that we can be relied on to resolve issues that occur. So I will respond to this review by clarifying that at no point have we ever refused to put right the issues that the customer has raised. However the customer has refused to let us inspect the vehicle and will not accept anything but a full refund which we feel is unreasonable as the issues highlighted are all very easily fixed. I feel it is also necessary to explain that this customer initially called about the battery, we said this was unfortunate and that if he went to have the battery replaced we would make sure that part of it was covered by the warranty and anything over the warranty limit we would reimburse to him. The customers reply was "Well I am not happy about that and to be frank my wife doesn't really like the car". Also worthy of mentioning that this gentleman is from South Africa and when he refers to window mechanisms what he means are the window switches in the door card. These are designed to be removeable in the event they develop a fault so that they can be replaced. I repeat we will happily inspect and rectify the issues this customer has raised even now after leaving this review but we will not refund the vehicle as we have not been given the opportunity to put what we feel are minor issues with the car right.
Purchased a car from Moto Tom last month and could not be happier. The sales process was very straight forward with absolutely no pressure tactics at all. Once the price was agreed there were a couple of things to be done before collection which were carried out. So far the car drives really well and I'm delighted we chose to buy from these guys.

Moto Tom are in my opinion, honest and reliable dealers which is essential when purchasing a secondhand vehicle. My dealings were with David who put himself out to help when I had a problem with the car I purchased. All has been resolved and would be happy to deal with them again. Thank you.

I purchased a Vauxhall Astra from Moto tom they were more than helpful resolving a couple of small problems I had even when I needed help after a few months of owning the vehicle. Not like the stereotypical car salesmen. After purchase if you return you are treated more like an old friend than a customer, whilst still being professional. Nice doing business with them.

Dave sold me a fantastic Astra and made my experience comfortable and easy. He is a very kind man, who did all he could to help. I'd recommend MotoTom to everybody. The previous day I had visited a dodgy car dealers with terrible cars and salesman. MotoTom is very professional and that is noticeable from the second you arrive. I will be back in a few years!!
