Went to view 2 vans at mototom and was lovely environment as I was left to check over the vans with no pressure, test drove both vans and they done me a deal and swapped over the roof rack for me, couldn’t be happier with the van and was the cheapest out there I had seen. Great guys

Wish I could turn back the clock and have never dealt with this joke of a dealer. Over the last 6 months the vehicle purchased has been off the road 80% of the time due to engine repair, addblue problems and DPF issues. Problems started 10 days after purchase and the incompetence of the dealer made any sort of resolution drag on and on. The vehicles look great in the pictures and the price is inviting but be aware you get what you pay for with these jokers.

Hi Chris We have supplied you a second hand van that you purchased in January 2024. As part of our promise to supply good vans we carry out service and mot prior to sale. As you have purchased a ulez free add blue van this van requires a constant top up or the add blue liquid. You had a problem after 10 days which was diagnosed by your garage as the dpf add blue injector, as it was so soon after purchase we covered this and paid in full to resolve this problem. £700 -£800 invoice total 6 months later you would like to reject the van and leave us a bad review. The problem that you have experienced with your van is that you have not topped up the addblue level in time. The van when it realises the add blue level is low will give you a warning sign and will start a count down of miles until the van will not start the engine again. If add blue is added at this point then it will re set. What had happened in your case is you have run the van too low and the counter has stopped and this will not let the van re start the engine. We then spent £220 on recovery to get the van back to our garage. We then had to pay £250 to a mechanic to come to our place of work to carry out a hard re set of the addblue system as the count down got to 0 miles, We then filled the van up with the correct amount of ad blue and have driven the van a total of 150 miles and the van is working in perfect order. Add blue works very similar to fuel as they both run out and both will end up leaving the van un able to start. Thanks Mototom
These guys just want to take your money and run !!! The owner refuses to even speak to customers ! I bought a van in good faith from what I thought was a reputable dealer…..this was POOR judgement on my behalf. I have owned my van for 5 months, it is mechanically unsound and the dealer is not interested !!!! It should not have passed an MOT as it had a corroded break pipe which was very dangerous !! But I guess when they want to get something passed on MOT things like that don’t matter !! It has cost me over £2500 and is still not right. The so called “Warranty” they sell isn’t worth the paper it’s written on !! AVOID unless you want to be massively let down !!!

Hi Lisa We would like the chance to reply to this slanderous review. The van was purchased by your self in January with 119k miles and we carried out a full service and new mot with (no advisories). Within 1 month you took the van to a garage who quoted for the brake pipe to be replaced how ever this was not picked up on the mot. We agree to pay for this and we covered the invoice of £128.40, problem resolved. 3 months later the same garage quoted to carry out some work for on the wheel bearings and diagnostics. The warranty covered this and paid out a total of £296.40 Again problem resolved 1 month later the same garage quoted for a compete timing chain replacement with oil service and Other parts. The van had covered by this point nearly 4000 miles since purchase date, The warranty company agreed to cover a part of this invoice as they have a claim limit on set items also we have never received any evidence or diagnostic proof that the timing chain needed to be replaced. The warranty then paid a further £300 (please don’t quote exact figures). You then chose to call us and tell us that if we don’t cover the cost of the repair in full then you will leave us a bad review. We were never given the chance to inspect the van ourselves. We then have received an another invoice with slightly different items with a different amount as a quote. We believe you have paid the previous invoice and now trying to falsify a claim on the warranty to claim your money back. We have all the invoices and evidence to back up our side. Thanks Mototom
