Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. As soon as they get your money that’s all they car about. We dealt with someone called David who was about us much use as a chocolate teapot. We’d phone with a question, he’d tell us he would call us back the following day. When we haven’t heard from him we call them to be told it’s his day off. He called us on the Monday to tell us the car was being valeted the following day, collected Wednesday and delivered Thursday and when it’s collected Wednesday he would call us. So again when we didn’t hear from him on Wednesday we called them to he told the car wasn’t being collected until Thursday and delivered on Friday. The guy who delivered the car was fantastic and really helpful but the team at motordepot not so much. Had no idea what to do about the hand over. Their definition of valeted and mine are clearly different as it still had crumbs in the glove compartment and a snotty tissue in the pouch behind the passengers seat. We paid £50 to have it valeted ourselfs. It also didn’t come with a 12 month mot - only 8 months yet that was not listed in the description at all! Gave feedback on the form they sent out, expressed our disappointment and yet had no response. All we have had is a phone call today from a sales manager called Steve saying we have an outstanding debt to pay for the rest of the deposit. A deposit they haven’t asked for since the car was delivered on the 17th. Extremely rude. Didn’t give a hoot about our issues and had the audacity to tell us that it was our responsibility to check the MOT on Vosa and that we need to pay the ‘debt’ of £100 even if we had to borrow it. Terrible service and would never recommended at all. A complete s***show from start to finish

Purchased a vehicle from Motordepot Hessle that cost over £13k - had to wait 3 weeks for this vehicle chasing up Louis with numerous phone calls. When finally ready the vehicle didn't need a service, was not valeted (still had dog hairs in it) and not even washed - flies all over the front. Extremely disappointed and will never buy from Motor Depot again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I'm going back to Riverside Volvo where they know how to treat their customers well.

Son purchased his car from Motordepot Hessle branch 3 yrs ago ,excellent staff, smooth/easy transaction, after seeing all bad reviews i thought they also need good ones cant all be bad, after 3 years never had 1 fault, sailed through mot that was taken to our local garage as Hessle was to far just for mot. Last July husband went to the Barnsley branch to purchase a vehicle. he recieved good service from staff, however he did comment that the service from salesman wasnt as good as it had been when he went to Hessle with son for his car. Anyway again he purchased a car, and again not had any problems with car.,infact youngest son is now looking to purchase 1 from them.

Motordepot Hessle is unbelievably bad!! I can honestly say this is the worst retail experience I have ever had. We sourced 2 x VW Transporters from them and paid a deposit in April. Initially told it would be 5 days before the cars are ready, due to being delayed on a number of occasions it was almost 3 weeks later and still no confirmation. We gave an ultimatum to say if they weren’t ready this week we would need to look elsewhere, miraculously they were now ready on Friday. So we set of on our 2 hour (each way) trip to Hull to pick up said vans. 10 Minutes, yes 10 minutes, before we arrive we were told one van wasn’t ready as a fault was reported. We still arrived to sign up and at least pick up one of the vans. The salesman (Daniel French) was shocking, when we asked why you hadn’t serviced the vehicle 3 weeks ago when we paid the deposit and not the day before we arrived, his answer was simply ‘we’re a busy dealership’. We went to look at the van that was ready, shocking condition!! It had scratches all over, they had tried to spray some of the bumps with a different shade of grey, it wouldn’t have passed its MOT as there was paint all over the seatbelts so you couldn’t confirm if that was a corrosive material or not, plus many other faults. They couldn’t even be bothered valeting it!!! They expected me to come through and spend 50k and could even be bothered to give it a quick clean. What a joke of a company from start to finish. The only positive was that we received our 9.5k deposit back within a few hours. The following day we went to another dealership and purchased two vans that are to be delivered 4 days later …… serviced and valeted!!!! The Customer Services Manager actually emailed me and promised to launch an investigation and get back to me by the end of the week. 3 weeks later and despite a number of emails I have sent he hasn't replied to any of them ... says it all really!

buying a car is meant to make you feel good NOT at Motordepot, THE customer support is very bad, we found the right car and that was it everything went don hill from then on in the manor of the staff is bad but the seem to blame head office so they don't have to deal with any problems STAY AWAY

Never buy a car from Motordepot Hessle, they sell you thrm and their have endless problems!! Its the worsed car dealer ive ever come across ever!! My car been in and out their service garage more times then you can imagine so avoid as ive had to go down legal route as there had my car 7 days did a report then sent it out damaged a mess its like a car sales twist 1 big con and not many say different so unless you wanna waste money and time and pay finance on a car you be paying for endless repairs like main parts to the turbo and ERG then go elsewhere honestly its been hell.

2nd time ive bought a car from motor depot hessle and the second time its had faults covered up. This time took a warranty and told everything is covered when they wouldnt fix the air con when i was sold it with a hole in the condensor. Found the wing mirror stuck on with glue after i had asked for it to be repaired before sale. They are only bothered on shift their rubbish off the forecourt and once they have they dont care how it was shifted.

Funny how motor depot hull on their own site have 5 stars right through but anywhere else its constant 1 star!!! Personally i think you dnt deserve a name as a reputable company as your cars are dangerous your service is well they int 1 that's just it and you sell cars with known faults by covering um up!! If you want a goid car avoid these HULL showrooms and cars i will promise you now its a save in the long run!! Total rip offs and a total shambles of a business!! Run if uou at door now as far as possible.

I bought a fiesta September last year from motor depot hessle and after 6 weeks of having it the car had to have £295 worth of repairs done to it luckily it was under warranty but not the point. Its been in numerous times for numerous problems and even sent to a ford specialist the problems become so bad. Motor depot won't accept any responsibility for it whatsoever. They also knocked my tracking out causing my tyres to wear on the inside excessively and repeatedly told me they didn't do it yet it was fine before they started replacing drive shafts etc and are now refusing to reimburse me for the sets of tyres I've had to pay for due to the tracking being miles out. Wouldn't ever ever buy a car from these con artists ever again. Stay clear !!
