Bought our Motorhome, Hymer B588, in June, 2022. The team have been great in supporting us after our purchase. The few niggles that cropped up were dealt with promptly and efficiently and when a replacement reversing camera did not work satisfactorily they offered and fitted a complete rear camera upgrade. The service team are very knowledgeable and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. In terms of sales we were not ‘pressurised’ and allowed to wander around and look at their extensive range of vehicles. We are made up with our Motorhome and we have no hesitation in recommending them as a family firm that want to ensure customer satisfaction
I bought a 2012 Bessacarr e495 from them in 22nd August 2020. Had to take it back within days water leaking in wardrobe due to dried out sealing which was fixed satisfactory. Because the warranty is poor (6 month) decided to get a Habitation check before it ran out. Massive damp readings along one side rang them but because of lock down there were no techs as on furlough. Advised by Carl to bring it in as they could keep it under cover (btw he agreed with the damp reading) Picked it up in April and Carl assured me that the work had been done. Just sold it, lost thousands on the deal because it had massive damp along the side that Carl assured had been fixed. So which is it then, did Carl lie to us? poor workmanship? just unlucky to get damp in exactly the same area which was fixed 7 months age? I am past anger on losing thousands, but do know that I wouldn't touch Motorlands with a barge pole with rat poison on the end. But if you do get an independent damp check before you lose thousands like me.
Bought a motorhome from motorlands. Came back from dorset with a squeezing, from front wheel my local garage told me it was clutch bearing took it back to motorlands they sorted it turned out it was a pull bearing. Can't fault motorlands they go out there way to help thanks a lot for a good service.
Motorlands have been superb to deal with when buying our first motorhome. Excellent customer service. Very fair and accommodating when there were problems and delays due to Covid. Even gave us our money back whilst waiting for an integral part for 4 months!! Fantastic company. Thanks Brad and all the family.
Having had a problem with an oil leak on the gear box, we returned to Motorlands which is an 8 hour round trip from our home ,their mechanic told us that he had repaired the problem. having returned home the oil leak was still there...we rang Motorlands and they advised us to get it checked at a local garage as there garage was so far away which we did...the local garage checked it over and said due to being an automatic gear box he recommended it went to a automatic gearbox specialist so topped it up with oil and told us not to drive it far...The specialist repaired it after saying we did the right thing by not driving it far...After many telephone conversations and no returned calls from Motorlands they refused to settle the bill even though it was under warranty as they said they could have repaired it cheaper even though we sent them a detailed copy of the invoice explaining the work that had been done and after the two garages telling us not to drive it far......They have paid us a token gesture which was below a third of the cost to us....so we are very dissatisfied with their after care warranty......So Beware !!!!

I made enquiry today about a hymer and couldnt give me correct reg no so i could do dvla check .when asked what was best price he could do said that was the price when i mentioned it had no mot he said it wasnt the one for me and thst hed be happy for it to stay where it is . suggest he tskes lessons in manners and whst it mesns to be a salesperson . if perhaps he was the manager then that makes his attitude even worse . its a total different story when you sell a van to a dealer ? Wont recomend or buy from Motorlands even thete vans they sdverise elsewhere . .
