We were greeted by Iain at Motorpoint Widnes who briefly outlined where the various models were . We were given a pen and paper to jot down anything we were interested in. When we found something he brought the keys . We felt no pressure at any time. After further information we decided to proceed . No pressure at any time and the staff were more than helpful with accepting our old vehicle in part exchange. Our only slight concern was on collection of the vehicle. Admittedly we arrived early for our appointment but after being shown to a seating area we were left for 45 minutes until my husband went back to reception to remind them we were there. We were then seen straight away. #superhero

I asked if my car could be checked to see what might happen next ,yes he said take it to a Citroen dealer and pay for it my self not very nice after sales also a sight came up adblue I ask what it was he told go to halfords they will sort it out .i went to halfords it cost me 11pounds they said it should have been sorted with the service it never had it took 10litres of blue .so I think somewhere motor point let me down badly
Can’t recommend motorpoint Widnes enough, the staff were really helpful and made everything really simple to understand. The price was the cheapest price around by a mile. Big thanks to Neil, Naomi and Hannah who made the whole process so easy. Thank you.

Great service from Start to finish! highly recommend
Great service from the start, would highly recommend to anyone.
Terrible experience with Motorpoint. Do not recommend them at all. I purchased a VW Golf R (2016) at the end of August. Everything was going good, and I walked away with what I thought was a great car. The problems started a couple days after I purchased the car, I noticed a small black mark on the rear passenger door. I'm a bit of a car enthusiast and I do detailing in my spare time, so I tried to remove the mark with a cutting compound and my machine polisher (usually this can remove any mark that is on paint) and I couldn't remove it at all. So I took it to my local professional detailers, and as soon as they saw the car (literally mentioned it to me as soon as I stepped out the car) they mentioned that the car had been repainted to a poor standard. They began to look for points where an untrained eye could see the evidence of this, there were masking lines, over-spray, marks, and loads of other small problems. So to sum it up, I had effectively bought a car for about £25k that's less than a year old and found out that i had been completely repainted with other repairs to the bodywork, without being told this prior to buying the car (and if I was told this, I would not have purchased the car). After finding this out, I immediately contacted Motorpoint... now this is where it really starts going down hill. They told me that they could not doing anything about this at all. I contacted different people, the branch I bought the car from and their online advisers, and all of which basically told me there was nothing they could do about this and told me that I had to deal with this myself. Just to remind you, this was a few days after I had bought the car. I took time out of my working day to visit Motorpoint again to speak to the sales person I purchased the car off, in person, to show them the issues and try to explain why this is not acceptable. Again, the sales person acted like a completely different person after I returned, she didn't care, she acted like she "couldnt" see the problems, one part which infuriated me, is that there was over spray on the plastic wheel arch liners, and she told me that she could not see the WHITE over spray? It was there clear as day. What a joke. So I went home, again feeling like I had been scammed basically. The day after I gave Citizens Advice service a call, they explained that I should explain my rights to Motorpoint as a consumer. This I did, and I sent a length email to the branch managers and I also included regional managers, etc... I mentioned that my rights have been breached (as advised by Citizens Advice/Trading Standards). And oh, would you look at that, I get a call from them straight away, saying that this will be resolved. I was offered another identical car, which costed £1k more due to lower mileage. I accepted, as I wanted to get this whole ordeal over and done with. It took almost 3 weeks to get this whole situation solved, and I was left £1k more out of pocket, and approximately £600 in lost revenue (as I'm self-employed and had to take time out of my working day to attend the garage when getting the second car). I was not compensated for any of this, and not once did Motorpoint apologise or express any regret about selling me this car. How the first car got through their preliminary checks amazes me. Appalling service, and I will never be returning to Motorpoint.

I bought a VW Golf back in June. The dealers were not very helpful and don't necessarily except outside finance. The car was as described but it hadn't been cleaned. The car is nice and was a very good price but that's all. The service was pretty sub standard. Also the car was advertised with remote central locking which it did not have. I would not recommend.
