Now the cheque has cleared I can post properly!! Please be aware of buying a car from Motorscene on the A370 they come across nice, polite and well organised however... after purchasing my car over the next 6 months lots of things went wrong (some they were meant to have fixed before I picked up my car) they ignored all telephone calls, emails, letters etc. We booked my car into a garage and they were meant to come out and inspect the work etc but didn't turn up. After months of being ignored we went to court, the first case was won, they didn't even turn up! £1976 was due on the day it was mean't to have been paid Mike at Motorscene was called and he said he wasn't going to pay it they were appealing it and weren't ever going to pay. So another trip to court was made last Monday where their defence for everything was that they didn't have letters for court date, weren't aware etc etc.. The judge laid into them and a different director did turn up who said a cheque would be sent out. He seemed very embarrased. Now this director was a lot nicer than Mike, Mike was bullying right from the beginning had I been an elderly or more vunerable person I may not have stood my ground over what I believed to be correct. Trading standards also phoned me a few months ago now to ask about my problems with them as they are also investigating them due to the number of complaints they have had. So please do not buy a car from them!! Also beware of consumer law if someone sells you a car and things go wrong with 6 months that aren't normal wear and tear they have to prove the faults weren't there at time of purchase or else you can ask for it to be repaired or even return the car.

Hi we are currently going through a very similar scenario! We are at the point of considering legal proceedings and we would be very interested to get in contact with you. If you are happy to do so please reply and we will try and find a way to do so privately. Thank you.
The review below is accurate Joke of a company purchased a car and low and behold the head gasket was blown,, reckon they fixed it and it came back in a worse state than when it arrived there Tried sending letters no reply and even had to folk out for a solicitor letter which they replied and they reckon all work had been carried out... laughable!!! Took it to another garage a diesel specialist and he's confirmed that the car is not road worthy and will cost a lot of money to fix which this company is refusing to rectify Had the car a year now and probably 10 months of that its been off the road and still off the road...stay clear oh and if you do have problems make sure your tank is empty as if it's a full tank somehow it manages to be returned on empty...
Bought a BMW had 12 months MOT, were told had 3 months AA cover and warranty, they would send on the spare key. Red sensor light came on re engine and then the brake pad warning light. Phone AA no cover! Took car to my local mechanic they suggested a sunder warranty speak to the dealer. Email sent, no the brake pad not covered. Return to have other problem checked. I took it back to local garage as not happy on driving the M5. Whilst checking the car, they discovered two tyres so worn they refused to let me drive the car until it was sorted asap. 'Too dangerous' not consistent with 3 months driving! The dealer at motorscene know we had to use the M5. We are still in shock from this experience.
Motorscene made no contact, the parts bought from ebay, lots of delays, no refund of deposit even when they could not keep there side of the deal. Very poor customer service.

The salesman at Motorscene was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and I'm over the moon with my car, if they're still around when I'm looking for my next car I will definitely give them a look.

Went into Motorscene Ltd on Saturday and loved a car so I paid the £300 deposit and signed the relevant paperwork. Left feeling very happy. I then rang them Wednesday because I saw that our car was on the forecourt with a higher price tag. We were told the price had been put on wrong by the sales person and our deposit was refunded. No one contacted us, we would of turned up Friday and been none the wiser. They are only interested if you take out there finance. Funnily enough we didn't need this when buying the car. This is very poor service.
They did everything and more for me at Motorscene Ltd. They knew I was coming and they picked me up from the station, Kiefer the sales lad was great, they weren't pushy and they left me to test drive the car, they cleaned it up nicely and fixed a couple of dings on it. being an Alfa Romeo it looked lovely. It had a good service history and was well within my budget. 100% excellent they're a credit to the industry.

Motorscene Ltd provided me with a good service when I bought a car from them back in the early part of 2015. If they had a car i wanted I would make the journey back and use them again. The brake light was out when I drove the car away and if that was picked up on and fixed beforehand i would be giving them a 5. As you can see form my review it was a positive experience.
