I have just purchased a Mercedes Eclass from MP, they were totally professional from when i first visted,Nothing was too much trouble, and i was not harassed by pushy salesmen. I was dealt with throughout my purchase by Anthony who was totally professional and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this company,they are worth a visit Thank you once again

Horrendous service from this garage. Sold a vehicle to my elderly father as trade sale/sold as seen, a blatant attempt to bypass their obligations under the consumer protection act. The vehicle was bought less than 3 months ago and has numerous faults. Garage contacted, they have refused to help, as in their words a trade sale to a retail customer is ok, so they have no obligation to fix the vehicle .Absolute rubbish. Be very wary of MP Motor Company.

Hi Peter, Your father came to view and test drive a 17 year old Mercedes-Benz, which was advertised as a Genuine Part Exchange with some service history. We had the vehicle advertised for £3,995 and your father offered £3,000. We informed your father that the only way we would sell him the vehicle at that reduced price would be without a warranty, to which your father agreed. I have since spoken to your father and he accepts that he was fully aware of the vehicle having no warranty due to having a reduction of £995
So disappointed with MP Motor Company in Preston. I bought my car from them having seen so many great reviews. My citroen c4 has had problems since day one and despite speaking to Nico and nigel who promised to arrange for me to bring the car in it never happened they are really friendly on the phone and promised to call me back to make an appointment but every time you call its the same a d they never call back this is their delay tactic to run down. The 6 month liability they have. I won't say don't buy your car from them but make sure you test drive it first and look for faults. My complaint is now with trading standards who are investigating the situation

I purchased my BMW in May and can’t thank Tony the salesman at MP Motor Company enough for a hassle free, pressure free sale. Communication excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. After service excellent. Had a seat belt/airbag warning light issue when I purchased car. Was booked in to my local auto electrician for investigation and diagnostic and although work was carried out the warning light has come back on so it’s an ongoing issue. However Tony at MP motors pre-agreed that any costs within reason for the repair would be covered for and all costs were paid for without any fuss. That’s the kind of after service you want whereas many other car companies just don’t want to know once you’ve brought the car! So full praise to MP motors. It was by far my best experience in buying a second hand car. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you very much Tony and all all at the car company. Phil.

We went into MP motors last week and dealt with Simon. He was great - he gave us the keys to the cars we wanted to look at and left us to view them in our own time. Once we had decided on the car we wanted to test drive, he put some fuel in for us and sent us on our way, for however long we wanted. He was brilliant - no pressure and no pushy sales pitch. Even after the sale of the car, Simon has been fantastic answering any questions we have had. Highly recommend MP motors and in particular, Simon - thank you!

what a disgrace. Saw a car on AA cars website advertising a Peugeot 108 at MP Motor Company in Preston. We looked at AA and MP Motor Company website and the details both stated the car was tax free. The salesman also confirmed the same by phone and since we are Newcastle upon Tyne based, we agreed Part Ex and travelled from Newcastle to Preston to pick up the car on Sunday. The salesman confirmed all the details again. We paid for the car by credit card, handed over our car then we were given the 'log book' to the newly purchased car and told to drive it to the nearest post office as it has to be registered in our name immediately. At the post office, we discovered that the car attracts £150pa road tax. we spoke to the salesman and dealership manager but sadly they have not told a single true statement, starting from claiming it was the AA fault, to blaming the government for changing the car tax rules. Sadly one statement of bad faith after another, even when we approached the AA who tried to mediate, MP Motor Company maintained their bad faith approach. absolute disgrace, shameful and perhaps illegal practice

Regarding your review ! DVLA recently changed the tax prices for low tax / tax free cars registered after 31st March 2017 .your car in question was MAY 2017 The data base that we advertise our cars on ,didn’t pick up on it . I am genuinely sorry the car was advertised as free tax when it cost you £140 .but the car was a zero rated car .its the government who keep changing things for greed not MP MOTORS..... And when your emailing in stating you want me to pay £1000 for a compromise to cover your tax costs going forward . You honestly think I’m that gullible!..... I’ve noticed you haven’t give us a bad review for a bad car . It’s down to the taxation off the car . And you giving me a bad review because you didn’t get your own way regarding the £1000 .... Very regretably the response from MP Motor Company clearly demonstrates their attitude and statements of bad faith - what you failed to mention sir is that I gave you an option of paying the road tax for as long as I own the car however, your liability stops if we sell it or alternatively, a one off refund of £1000 since most cars last about 6-7 years. as stated in our review, disgraceful attitude and shameful company...the review is based on your dishonesty and false advertising
Bought a car on 14/05/19 from MP Motor Company in Preston. The guy name tony deal with the purchase but he did not give me the new keeper slip on n the pack he gave me with all the receipt. I called soooooo many time to sort it out and give me atleast the copy of the log book but tony told me that when he bought road tax for the car, he had to produce the log book at the post office and sent the log book to DVLA on the same day without giving me the new keeper slip. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve been calling DVLA to find out wether they received the log book or not. Each time I called DVLA, they say, they haven’t received any log book yet. I also try to call tony on the phone number I used to call him before buying the car but an old lady answers the call and say she doesn’t know any tony or MP motor company. I am in a big trouble and loosing money as I bought this car for a taxi and can’t get it plated by council until I receive the log book and there is no guarantee that I will ever receive the log book if the DVLA don’t receive it from MP motor company. I am loosing money every day. Last time I called tony and asked him to see if they have a photo copy of the log book or not, tony confirmed that he doesn’t have it and he will find out from the post office if they still have the log book there or they sent it to DVLA and call me to give updates but it’s been a week now and haven’t heard anything from him. It’s a big company and everyone there is nice but this thing that happened to me is very unfortunate. I would like to urge MP motor company to sort this problem ASAP is it’s possible. It will be highly appreciated
