We were staying with my father-in-law, in King's Lynn, for a few days. We had decided to change our car around the end of the year but as the weather was not suitable for taking him out, we took the opportunity to look at cars (something that we hate doing.) We had previously owned 3 Renault Clios, so we went into Motorvogue to look at the latest models. Maris greeted us as we entered the showroom and we talked about our car needs. Maris was attentive, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. We had a demo ride in a pre-reg Dacia Sandero and we bought it there & then. The right car at the right price - car specifications, sticker price, included options, spare wheel, part exchange offer and free delivery (to South Wales!) The car arrived early on the day promised, driven by Brian, a real gentleman, and the documentation was sorted and signed quickly and smoothly. We even had a follow up call, from Maris, asking us for our thoughts and feedback on our dealings with him & Motorvogue. No pressure, no hard sell, no false promises and 2 happy customers.

My husband and I took our 17 year old daughter to the Kings Lynn branch of Motorvogue to purchase her first car. We found a suitable car and spent 20 mins or so with a very helpful advisor who took our details and then took us for a test drive. On our return my daughter had decided this was the car she definitely wanted but as we entered the showroom to place a deposit we were met by the Business manager who advised us that someone who had viewed the car the previous day had placed a deposit whilst we were on the test drive. Clearly at the point they viewed the car they didn't place a holding deposit and we were given to understand the car was available hence taking it for a test drive. I feel this is completely unacceptable and shows a complete lack of integrity and morals. If I were to try on an item of clothing but place it back on the sales floor because I was undecided and then return the next day to find someone else trying on that item of clothing I couldn't go to the cash desk and pay for that item unless the person trying it didn't want it and this situation is no different. Probably the worse thing though is that I have a message from someone at Motorvogue condoning the actions of the business manager. As the previous reviewer commented, beware, this company clearly have no integrity.

This review relates to Motorvogue (Northampton) Ltd Registered Number 03410427 and no other company of a similar name. They are terrible. Sharp practice and mis-selling insurance products. I was provided with a verbal quote, had it confirmed in writing, and even emailed to clarify. Got it all confirmed and accepted it. Paid a deposit, but when I got paperwork through realised they had added on insurance products I didn't want or could get cheaper elsewhere. So, per the Keyfacts and Demands & Needs statement, I declined to take the insurance. Next thing, they can't do the deal we agreed and want to charge me an extra £6k. I have already declined alternative 'in stock' cars I was considering with other dealers, and made arrangements to return my current car. They ignored my emails and letters trying to resolve the situation. Sharks - keep well away.
