Really straight forward, at no point did I feel pushed or persuaded in to making a decision, which straight away made us feel more comfortable. Gave us the keys and let us look around at everything on our own, again not trying to push for a sale. Happy to explain the warranty options and give advice. Went well out of his way to help me collect the car after purchasing.

After much searching and worry, I had the pleasure of buying a Toyota auris from MP cars northwest. Like many, I absolutely need a car for work and after a long delayed 200 mile train journey, Matt picked me up from the station. I did everything wrong in buying a car. It was late and dark, I was tired but Matt made sure the buying was relaxed as it could be with no pressure. As it turned out a 200 mile test drive confirmed the car was exactly as advertised and the price was very competitive. I would like to thank both Matt and Mike for their patience and turning what is normally a worrying time into something more enjoyable! I should also mention that although the car had a 3 month warranty, this meant in the event of a problem, the car would have to be returned 200 miles which is unrealistic so Matt kindly gave me an auto guard warranty at cost. To sum up, good car, good price and even better people. Recommended, thanks.

From start to finish this was the perfect buying experience. Communication around sorting a test drive was prompt and the salesman went out of his way to make collection easier for us! Oh - and the car was in perfect condition; super clean, all checks done! Would recommend, without reservations.

I was looking for a car volvo xc60. Been looking for a week or. Then found one from this place. Phoned them and had a chat about the car. Everything seamed OK. Made plans get train to the village. Walked to the see the car. Got there as he pulled up. In the car I wanted to see. Car was not clean. And he admitted to driving around in it. Went for a test drive car seamed ok. Bought the car not cheap( £20k) we discussed warranty and that. But thought all second hand cars come with 6 month warranty ( apparently his dont) while looking at the car noticed all the light had slight condensation in them but put that down to not been used. And thought I'd be covered under his warranty. After couple of weeks one the rear light piped up faulty on the dash. So pulled over and had a look one the light was out (led) and noticed loads of condensation in the light. Rang him up next day and got nowt but excuses. About how it's not covered. The warranty is only for engine and gearbox. Refuse to offer anything towards a new light ( £600) I've worked with car sales people in the past and he's the typical car sales man. All nice when he's after your money but couldn’t give a feck afterwards avoid like the plague.

Hi James, upon buying the car, which you said at the time was a very good price as you had been looking for a while and there was nothing in that price range with the same spec as ours. Regarding the warranty, we had a very in depth conversation about what was covered and the fact the car had to come back to us if any faults. I then explained to you about the extended nationwide warranty (in depth) and that more than mechanical faults would be covered. I spoke to the Autoguard rep on loud speaker in front of you to confirm the best warranty and price, which you were getting at cost. This was a £2000 claim limit (per claim) nationwide, covering any faults on the car for 2 years. Your response was that sounds great but you want to have a think as a £2000 claim limit would not be sufficient on a car with this many gadgets and you were going to look elsewhere to get your own cover. This meant you got the standard 3 months on engine and gearbox from us, of which you would have to bring back the car for any work to be done. You then say there’s a fault with a rear LED light and demand full money of replacement from Volvo parts originally, then that changed to ‘send me half then and I’ll fit it myself’ This is not how the warranty works. Also, it’s very dishonest of you to say you expected 6 months on any faults as it’s stated and signed by yourself on the invoice that you turned down an extended warranty and you had 3 months on engine and gearbox. You then said ‘I’m entitled to my full money back then’ Which I said absolutely, just let me know when you’d like to bring the car back and I will refund you in full. Which you responded with demanding £300 on top of your refund as you’d had some system updates like android car play added to car. You have decided not to bring the car back as I’m sure you know you could not replace like for like at the same price. I’m sincerely unhappy you have felt the need to try and slander our business because we refused to pay a bill thrown at us for something that you knew wouldn’t be covered and was never even brought back to us for our mechanic to check. A big, huge, massive thank you going to Matt who’s an absolute star !!! I purchased a white Vauxhall Astra just few days ago and I’m not gonna lie I messed up a little bit with my application, Matt helped me massively and been very understanding, helpful and patient too. MP Northwest car got the best team and cars ! The car is lovely, smooth to drive and in exellent condition. Matt is very professional in his job, he answered every question I had, sorted everything out for me, he went over and beyond to make sure everything is 100% right when I collected the car. Met up for test drive, car was in a good clean condition. Matt was very approachable his knowledge about the history of the car was great. He was very friendly & professional. Transaction was smooth no trouble what so ever, would definitely recommend. Also met his dad great family business.
