Thank you very much for the lovely kind words Donna. We hope that your new car brings you years of enjoyment, and we hope that we get the weather where you can enjoy the roof down :) We appreciate you taking the time to leave such a lovely testimonial, and we appreciate the very valued business and the trust which you placed with us. We look forward to seeing you at NextCar again. Regards Ronnie and all the team at NextCar
Started off well but like others it seems once money taken customer is always wrong . Thankfully systems in place for looking after consumers or I’d have been left with a pile of junk . Stay clear and go to a car dealer who cares about customer service . My faults were rectified but only after I took the problems further.

How did you go about it as I have a lot of issues with the same dealer as spent £2300 on car while still under warranty

Dear James, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. As a small family business, we strive, at all times, to provide the very best levels of customers service, and we genuinely appreciate any valid comments or practical criticism from customers which may highlight moments where we perhaps have not met our own very high standards, with the aim to continue to improve. This said, however, I'm not so sure much (if any) of this is valid. You seem to posess an economy with the truth that many a politician would be immensely proud of, so we think it would be for the best to simply let the facts speak for themselves:- On 28/07/21 you purchased an 11 year old vehicle with some 80k miles on the clock. Some might say that a vehicle is coming towards the end of its useful life by this age & miles, however this was a particularly nice Vauxhall Astra which appeared to defy it's age and miles. Prior to the handover the car had gone through an 83 point inspection to Approved Vehicle Preparation Standards by an independent garage and an MOT inspection by an independent VOSA licensed MOT station, which it passed with ZERO advisories. In September you initially contacted us regarding a suspected coolant leak from the car. We immediately, and without hesitation booked an appointment for you to attend a workshop to have this inspected and/or rresolved. After you cancelled, not one, but two appointments, and only after we stressed the importance of having a coolant leak inspected as soon as practically possible, you then appeared with a list of alleged issues the car has supposedly had (after you had taken if for inspection to some local third party garage). We had each and every single alleged issue inspected. Unfortunately we were met with comments such as "that's for you to find out", when we asked you a simple question about the issue you were reporting with the brakes on the car. You had informed us that the "brakes are all shot" and the "pads are down to the metal" when in fact, an inspection revealed that the rears pads were actually still almost like new (having been replaced prior to purchase) and the front pads were still in excess of 50% despite the car having been driven several thousand miles since purchase. During all this time we had, multiple times, offered you to take the car back for a full refund, simply because we'd much rather lose a sale than have an unhappy customer. You declined. We are more than a bit puzzled what by "systems in place" you are referring to. We personally provided you with a phone number for Trading Standards and Citizen Advise. But somehow neither of them got in touch with us. We can only assume, that you probably don’t have as much experience as we do dealing with garages and workshops, but from our experience, they do tend to "upsell" their services. The more "problems" they find, the bigger the bill... and we don’t think its particularly fair to badmouth our dealership just because some garage thought they can try and take advantage of you. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, but we have thousands of happy customers to prove our customer service always has been at the highest standard. We continue to wish you all the very best, and safe motoring. Best regards, Next car

Dear "Bob.H" Clearly you have us confused with some other business, as having gone through all of our sales and enquiry records, we have absolutely no record of ever having dealt with a Bob.H, or a Robert H, or even any similar name.

Dear Bob.H (whoever you may be?) Thank you for the added information (you now mention Ford Kuga). This has allowed us to drill through all our data even further, and confirms to us, without any uncertainty whatsoever, that you have never, ever purchased a vehicle from us. Either you have us mixed up with some other car sales business, or you are perhaps a competitor trying to cause some mischief. If you have a genuine grievance, and perhaps you are hiding behind some pseudonym, then we would be delighted to hear from you, so please either call us on 01463 263600 or email to: sales@nextcar.co.uk
Having now purchased 2 cars for our family from Ronnie at Next Car in Inverness, I can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else. Next Car have single handedly restored my faith in used car dealers. Nothing has ever been too much trouble with all paperwork completed fully for me, and private registrations transferred. Both times the cars have been absolutely immaculate and we will be making sure friends and family don't look anywhere else.

Next Car from Next Car in response to Absolute RIP off
When booking holidays, I generally like to take a look at Trip Advisor to read the reviews. If a Hotel has hundreds of fab reviews, and one shitty review from some idiot keyboard warrior, I am content in the knowledge that this was most likely just some pathetic idiot who would never be happy no matter what, and I would still go ahead and book. This is what we have here! Darren you purchased a stunning Audi A4 that we personally ran ourselves for some weeks. The car was absolutely flawless. (unlike the faulty trade in you part exchanged). You first messaged us repeatedly after hours by text 2 nights ago (from 7pm until 9pm), demanding an immediate return phone call. You were asked to call us the next morning at 9.30am when we opened. You informed me that you had been having some turbo related issue. I immediately booked you in to an independent garage (day before Xmas eve), in order to investigate the seriousness of the issue. As one might imagine, the garage were busy with pre-booked customers they were trying to complete before Xmas holidays and having quickly inspected and discovered that it was not a serious matter and certainly nothing that was preventing the car being driven, an appointment was made for you to bring the car in on the 4th Jan to be properly investigated and resolved. Nothing could be done faster! Given the dangerous "modifications" you had made to your part exchange and the fact that you had informed us you were going to be doing same to this car, it still remains to be seen what the alleged issue really is. Your lies are catching you out also Darren. 2 days ago, you told me that you had been having this issue sine you bought the car. You then told the mechanic that it had started only 2 days ago, on your way home from work. You have gone out of your way today, on Christmas day of all days, to try your best to damage our reputation on any and every social media platform and website that you can. This truly demonstrates the type of pathetic individual you really are. Even though the country is in lockdown until 18th Jan, special arrangements had already been made to inspect your issue on 4th Jan as soon as the earliest (essential worker) workshop re-opens. I find it also quite disgraceful that you sat in our office boasting how you had "robbed the tax man" out of loads of money as you had been doing "cash jobs and homers" and had made more money doing "cashers" during the furlough period than your reguler employment, while you were in receipt of Government / Employer monies throughout the entire Covid lock down period. and this is what led to you purchasing the car with cash! We have bent over backwards to have your vehicle and the alleged issue inspected at the very earliest opportunity. I fail to see how any car dealership anywhere could have been any quicker. At no time have we ever refused to acknowledge any issue, and at no time have we refused anything valid under any warranty. We are left scatching our heads however as to why you have resorted to becoming a pathetic keyboard warrior!?
Turned up to find car not cleaned with a flat tyre. Told we couldn't take it for a test drive because it was raining. When we went back guy refused to sell us the car because we were asking too many questions. Several hours wasted.
Ronnie from Next Car in response to Appalling waste of time
Hi, thank you for the review. Yes, that is quite correct, I chose not to sell you a 15 year old trade car as it did not meet our standards, which we would expect from a retail car. When you visited at the weekend, as I was working on my own, there were other customers already on the premises who had a prior appointment and were awaiting a test drive in a different vehicle. You were clearly informed of this, and were made fully aware that any test drives would need to be made after the first customers had returned. I made the decision to not sell a 15 year old trade car, to a non-trade individual, and having read this review, it would appear that I made the correct decision. When purchasing, you have the absolute right to choose who and who not to purchase from, it works both ways - car dealers have the right to choose whom to sell to. (the fact that you highlighted and complained about a little polish residue in the gap between the bonnet and the wing simply re-enforced my decision).
