If NK KIA Nottingham is a credible branch to what kia’s values, morals and representation are then I am truly appalled. You would think the customer service would be paramount to this trading company KIA, unfortunately this is not what we received. We were under the impression that for a huge very successful business that we would be given a fair, truthful and honest sale regarding a preowned car that was placed in KIA showroom (NK Kia Nottingham) We had been looking for weeks for the right purchase when we came across a KIA Sportage on auto trader, it was advertised with all our desired spec, and a great family car for our young family. This had heated seats and heated steering wheel upon the advertisement. We clicked the link that took us to the kia dealership and again written in the spec was heated seats and heated steering wheel. Un be known to us the advertisement unfortunately was not true to its word. when dealing with a huge dealership why would we question the advertisements that are a mirror image on both professional/legal platforms. My husband had gone to pick up the car a few hours drive, once there the deal was closed and the car signed for, he hadn’t drove half a mile when he noticed, the false advertisement on the car. The car advert included heated seats and heated steering wheel. Upon finding out the car wasn’t up to the spec we required or advertised, he returned the car within 10-minutes of leaving the dealership. where he was told “it’s your car now” he tried to reason with them, but to no avail. We didn’t want the car we were wrongfully sold. My husband left the car there as he wasn’t getting anywhere with the member off staff who had closed the sale. Ourselves and the finance company cannot understand why they are stating “we cannot get our money back” we have had statements such as “the car is left at our own risk” I mean why can’t we return wrongfully advertised goods? I am willing to share the unbelievable correspondence that we have been sent, but I will give NK kia an opportunity first to resolve this issue before I do so. i.e advertisement change and emails! I do have all evidence needed! I have never witnessed such rude arrogance of a company. The slogan “movement that inspires” surely starts with customer service. To which I have no inspiration to do a deal again with a Kia company. “Strive for perfection” is not what I’m seeing. There is no slander or malice here in this review, just an honest hard-working couple with a young family who was desperate for a family car! In conclusion to this review, we are desperate for the right honest outcome that we deserve! Our full money back. Our youngest is just six-month-old, its hard being a full-time working family with two children without the stress and anxiety that this case is causing. I feel that this needs to be resolved asap in a professional way that I have not witnessed thus far from the NK KIA company. I would not recommend anybody to purchase a car from this dealership as the customer service has been horrifying. Horrifying experience

Tandem pump recall, 1st available slot at Chillwell 4 wks from letter, they cancelled the day before, “no parts”. Next slot another 4 wks later (a Thur), they cancelled again the day before claiming “no ramp space”, so will be done Fri. Rang Fri to say work done but belt needs replacing, new one faulty so Mon. Call on Mon to say belt “not arrived” so Tue. KIA Connect didn’t message me Fri to say car unlocked when work allegedly done, however it did message 7 times on Monday! No apology on collection and no parts listed in the service book. The recall letter states, “once validated it can be used as proof of work.”, it doesn’t show which parts have actually been replaced? Truly awful customer service!

I rarely leave reviews but if this makes someone think twice about parting with their money at this dealership it will be worth it. Without doubt the worst customer service and customer care I've ever experienced. The problems started when the car was under warranty. It was consuming excessive oil, something I have read online specific to this vehicle and which is actually leading to a lawsuit against Kia in the US. I flagged it repeatedly and was told it was normal and in a handbook. A handbook I might add that I have never seen, and was never made aware of when purchasing the vehicle. It only started needing more oil after the first year, so this isn’t a normal maintenance procedure when running this car, something was clearly wrong and malfunctioning. Nothing was done. I had the car serviced with them every ten thousand miles, I kept getting told the car was not burning oil and it was normal. It wasn’t. Once you are then out of the warranty, they wash their hands of you completely. Then the expensive repairs began, a new Catalytic converter and a clutch, both of which have lasted less than 12 months. These parts have a warranty, but it’s impossible to claim on. They will say it’s wear and tear and the problem is once again yours. Unless you are willing to wait weeks while they try and persuade the head office at Kia to admit it’s a warranty repair. It should be such a simple procedure, but it clearly isn't and it appears to me that they do everything they can to try and wriggle out of it. Not only that they will suggest other things are an issue instead, distracting from the main problems, and trying to deflect the costs back to you on repairs that won’t solve the issues caused by the failed components, which are still under a manufacturers warranty. I even had another garage give me a second opinion on the latest issues, as I was beginning to lose faith in the service I was getting, an opinion which NK motors refuse to acknowledge and are not even willing to investigate. The failure is with the components they fitted less than 8 months ago, as an expert technician from the another garage and an engine fault code have confirmed. All I’m left with now is to replace the car, once again at my own substantial cost. They even had the audacity to ask if I’d consider a Kia again, I couldn’t actually believe it. This dealership is great if you want a brand new car, but if you want to buy a used one, even a Kia approved one with a warranty, be aware that it can be a miserable, exhausting and frustratingly expensive experience.

Jeff in response to Worst customer service ever experienced
I thought I had bad service but you topped it!!
Very poor customer service from the day I agreed to purchase, should have gone with my gut instinct and gone elsewhere.
I have a KIA with a 7 year warranty which has been serviced by the book each year. My car broke and took it here but they refused point blank to put a warranty claim through. They even refused to see the car when KIA spoke to them. Service Manager has a terrible attitude and doesn’t know anything about the warranty guidelines that KIA set out. I took the car to Vertu Motors and they gladly took the car and work is being done under warranty. Will never use NK Motors ever again as they are not customer friendly at all.

I purchased a used car from NK Motors, all seemed fine at the time there was a few issues which we was told would be sorted before the car had been picked up. I picked the car up about a week later with an oil leak still present, faulty passenger door strut that wasn’t changed and soon found out also a faulty clutch. The car was taken back in after mentioning on the phone the faulty clutch. (Struggled to get into gear when it first started, clutch pedal would not rise back up all the time and a gear crunch when changing 1st to 2nd.)they had sorted the oil leak but still not changed the door strut and never mentioned or even looked at the clutch I believe. It went back in 3 more times after this for the same clutch issue, and whilst they had the car for nearly a week, still stated they could not find an issue. Multiple phone calls were made whilst they had the car and the same somebody will phone you back was said. After finally getting through to somebody I was told by a manager at the time that the clutch issues where characteristics of the car due to its age and mileage, I’m no mechanic but I knew there was an issue. The car wasn’t driven regularly after that due to a company van however 4,000 miles later the whole clutch now needs replacing after breaking down. Very quick to take the money but it seems unless you buy brand new car from here with a lot more money, after sales wise is awful. After having the whole clutch replaced including slave cylinder the mechanic I use saw the problem. Bolts were cross threaded from the slave cylinder and therefore wasn’t sitting flush. This faulty installation means he believes this was the cause of the issues prior, something NK Motors would have discovered had they actually inspected the car. I have contacted NK Motors since and told them everything to give them the best opportunity to put things right after the awful service, nothing was offered bar apologies which quite frankly isn’t good enough
