Having purchased a car in May 2023 I can safely say Norman Motors is company is the worst company I have ever had dealings with. After having 8 engine light issues, starting within 2 weeks of having bought the vehicle and being told after 3 weeks by them we were not legally entitled to return the car because they were "trying to fix it" and failing! (which I since now know was well within my legal rights). We have recorded proof of these con-men lying to us on numinous occasions, hence why it all went against them and we won our case. Even after an independent mechanic surveyor ruling in our favour, norman motors still will not admit that they sold us a faulty car. We now have proof that the faults were all historicall and there before purchase. Their idea of fixing is taking the car in, turning the light off without actually fixing the fault in hope to get us past the 6 months warranty. Luckily for us this company was caught out lying on several occasions. The faults were all historical and were not being dealt with when we raised the issues over and over again from the start. After finally breaking down again, miles away from home after only having the car back 2 weeks from yet another attempted repair and promised it was now all sorted after having the car for 3 weeks!!! this company didn't bother to help when standard with 3 kids on the side of the road, no call back like they promised and later wanting no dealing with us once they found out we had seemed legal advice leaving is with NO car for weeks. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING A CAR FROM THESE CON-MEN! If you are in need of advice or proof regarding this sham of a company please feel free to contact me and I will happily show you what evidence we have. The way they have handled this is disgusting I'm sure people will think they are great if they are lucky enough to have a car that hasn't gone wrong but beware if you buy a car from this company and if goes wrong even within the warranty period your life will be made hell. Please do not make the same mistake we did in thinking this company was Reliable!!!!!

I bought a Ford focus two years ago 2019 it had done 32,149 miles went into Ford garage in Leicester with engine failure last week needs a new engine don't buy from this dealership car cost me 14495 the work going to cost me 9000
I recently purchased Jaguar XJ and extended warranty from Norman Motors. Sales staff very accommodating and professional. Upon collection, I checked the car and it was beautifully cleaned and wheels had been refurbished. Paint was polished. Whole process of buying the car was flawless and painless (Thank you Andrew!!!) Definitely, Norman Motors will be my 1st choice when buying next car.

Sales showroom and staff were ok, however, purchased a car and there has been nothing but trouble with it. Since found a leak in the boot (we've only had the car 2 months) which has been reported and attempted to be fixed several times to which they have "siliconed" the rubber seal in rather than replacing it and refitting, but at least it's been bodged together.
I previously wrote a review with another reviewing body (who presumably work alongside of Norman Motors, Bournemouth) around a couple of months ago which did not appear on their reviews website, after I submitted it, despite being approved by them. My first thoughts is that either their main website reviewer or the garage may have deleted it because I probably didn't award 5 stars and didn't fit their own requirements! My review was honest and reasonable, but felt I needed to explain the shortfalls with Norman Motors. Now, this has left me annoyed. It looks quite likely to me that they seem have difficulty in taking a little criticism from a genuine customer. Therefore, I hope this time I mention on car reviews will carry a little more weight. In addition to this, the 'customer care' was not so good at Norman Motors, with certain staff that are standoffish, tending to snub you and unpoliteness However, after closer inspection after purchasing the car, found out that the garage hadn't finished off polishing my car properly, especially skimping around the boot area, which was a right pain, meaning that I had to finish off the polishing myself! For the price of the car, I'm sure it is right to expect a proper job done well! Also what was interesting whilst rounding off paperwork, the sales consultant didn't think to offer any drinks even, despite spending a lot of money. A rarity these days. So disappointing. So now, it's definitely now a good opportunity to listen to these comments and take them on board to help improve your service.
I went to Norman Motors because they seemed to be a good, long established dealer with a good selection of nearly new cars. I purchased a 2 year old car which cost me over £15000. All seemed well until inspecting the car closely at home about a week later, I found that the whole of the drivers side had been resprayed. This was confirmed by the local main dealer. This was not mentioned when I viewed the car and I did not notice it at the time. If I had I would have walked away. They refused to give me a refund and ignored my letter of complaint. Also the rear tyres should be runflats as there is no spare. They were not. Lastly a month after purchase I find the front tyres need replacing. I would never buy another car from them.

The guys at Norman Motors were really nice, they saw me straight away and were very helpful throughout. They had clearly looked after the car is was nice and shiny. They gave me an after sales book with all the information I needed. Very thorough and the price was the best I'd seen around.
