I went to north sands garage to buy a relatively cheap car compared to most of the stock, so I wasn’t expecting to be given much time and effort. However i love when I am Proven wrong, Fred was a genuine man who made me feel very comfortable, he literally gave me the keys and said take as long as you like, and have a drive. The car was perfect and had been cleaned immaculately. I bought the car, a very slight problem which you would not have known until you had driven the car was found, I rang him and the car was booked in to be sorted immediately. Fantastic service. Would recommend to anyone, and would certainly buy another from there. 100%

I purchased a Ford Ka from Fred at North sands Specialist Vehicles...he delivered it...nothing was too much trouble...fantastic service...fantastic car.. Unfortunately..due to death of wife...I had financial problems...so they kindly bought the car back...no fuss...no hassle....completely genuine... When my situation gets better I will definitely go back... A rare quality of service....THANKYOU FRED
Bought an Audi s3 from Northsands Specialist Vehicles. Car was never right till I ended up selling 6 month later. Bought it, and the Turbo had intermittent boost problem which turned out to be a knackered turbo. Then the car was smoking terribly at standstill and after use. This turned out to be burnt out valves. Car went back several times to be sorted out. But at first they said they would only fix the turbo. They said I had to expect with the car having 100k that it would smoke abit... Lol I asked for my money back and was told I have to allow them to fix it. They tried. Valves were good but turbo blew 3 months later due to it being cheap ebay crap. Ended up selling at a huge loss!!! The boss kept pretending he wasn't the owner, even when he already introduced himself, and the "owner" was never around when I had issues, surprise surprise... Should of known they were dodgy when the salesman referred to me a "nice lad" when on the phone to the owner. Their Code for "mug" I think. Avoid like the plague!!

I have just been made aware of this review, and I am sorry to hear that you have had issues with your vehicle. I am a little confused as I do not recall such a car, I have checked my invoices and the last Audi S3 I sold was back in September 2017, which never had any problems. I am a sole trader with no sales staff and deal with every sale personally. My name is Frederick (Fred) Reed and my contact details are on the website. I have been in this position for over 20 years and would never try and hide from an unfortunate issue. My Facebook, Autotrader & CarGurus reviews will play testament to this. I urge you to check your purchase invoice to clarify where the vehicle was purchased from, and of course contact myself direct if you require any further assistance.

Purchased an Audi from North Sands which had a major fault. Mr Reed the owner kept promising to fix it over and over but never did. All we wanted was the problem rectified. After a long hard fight and 2 years of having no working car we have just won a court case where he must refund us all our money and costs and guess what he's refusing to pay that too so having to send in enforcement! If you have any sense do not go near North sands!

In response - The court case was won as my solicitor was incompetent and missed the court date, which resulted in my evidence not being heard, Conflicting evidence that in the 15 months ‘of having no working car’ that in the first year of ownership around 15,000 miles were covered (mot history will support this) and a further 3;000 miles in the following 3 months. As I wasn’t aware that my solicitor had missed the court date, as he dealt with all correspondence, I did not refuse to pay the judgement - the first I heard was communication from an enforcement office, which I paid in full immediately - then tried to contact my solicitor who once realised his error, would not take my phone calls, which resulted in addition costs paying an additional solicitor to take him to task. These are the facts of this issue.
I have had a multitude of issues with my Audi TT from North Sands. I have had it since January. The dealers have been very reluctant to help at all so I am still having issues with the car. I would not recommend this dealership.

We have won a court case against Fred after experiencing a year of problems with our Audi A5 after purchase. We have had no car for 2 years now due to him failing to fix the major fault that was present at purchase. Now to add insult to injury we have had to instruct high court enforcement to go in and recover the money due to him failing to pay.
These guys were extremely helpful when it came to a small problem with the car, bent over backwards to help, big up to Fred and Kev, it's not often you come across car salesmen as helpful as these guys, would highly recommend to anybody looking to buy a motor!
North Sands were excellent, the facility was really nice it looked like a converted barn, the area was very nice for a test drive and the car has been running smoothly. I am very happy with how everything went.

The dealer at North Sands seemed very genuine, he was very thorough and even knocked some money off the car. The car wasn't valeted as I gave them short notice but he was kind enough to offer to pay for a valet if I should want one later on. I would recommend this dealership.
