I purchased a gorgeous mini from North West Autos 4 week ago. I’ve held back to write a review as I waiting to see if the car runs okay. I can honestly say it’s a dream! Made up with my complimentary 6mth AA warranty too, with being a lady driver this really gives me peace of mind. The staff on the phone are brilliant, the sale was smooth. Would defo recommend!

Paid a £200 deposit on an Audi A5 cabriolet and was told they needed 1 week to get it pre-prepped put a new MOT etc so drove up from Cambridge to collect the car (200 miles ) and was told on arrival that it was not ready !!!! They didn't call me beforehand even though they knew I was on the way just waited until I arrived and then informed me that it was not ready. I incurred an overnight stay because it was 6 pm before I left their premises and the weather was not good so stopped over in a local travel lodge. I am still waiting for the return of my £200 deposit and the cost of my overnight but they have told me they would not usually pay such a cost even though the mistake was theirs. Avoid them at all costs they are not professional and are very quick to take your money but do not want to give it back. Cowboys!!!!!

I bought a car from these men and it's literally been the worst purchase I've ever made. These guys are criminals. If your savvy you will know straight away but unfortunately it took me a few visits before I realised how nefarious these lads are. Stay away and buy from a reputable trader.

I would like to point out we dont have many bad reviews and those that we do usually mention the purchase they made. We 100% go that extra mile to resolve all issues where possible. competitors and the odd person who doesn't get their own way because they are unreasonable can easily be spotted - when reading a bad review ask yourself can 1000+ positive reviews against a small amount of negative (like this one) really be fair. We sell used cars - we cannot guarantee 100% problem free. we can however be there 100% to help should a problem arise and we pride our self on this.
Bought a car from these guys last week & the service from start to finish was 10/10. I was advised that if lockdown was to come into action I would not b collect unless it was by appointment only or had the option of getting it delivered & that all covid guidelines would be in place. I arranged to collect after hearing on the news that we would b going into lockdown & these guys gave me a time & date slot which suited me, again above & beyond for a used car dealership. Sales staff are excellent from start to finish & deliver what they promise. I was well impressed with the quality & amount of stock which is on site & thanks Shami for all your help & advice & to the rest of the team. I would highly & strongly recommend this dealership for your next car. Above & beyond 😎

Bought a Jeep Cherokee Chief from them, old thing for carting stuff around - part of the pre-pick up agreement was that the AC would be working (it was not working when I tried it in the shop) - they told me that it was fully working when I picked it up and it wasn't until I was some way down the road that it became apparent that this wasn't the case. Next day went to my local AC recharging service who told me that the drier had a hole in it and they could not charge it - Jeep RHD Driers are super rare and eventually I managed to find one in Australia. Once fitted, including new seals, the recharge was successful (happy days) until the heater wouldn't work - it turns out that there are blending doors in the system to mix hot and cold air to the correct temperature and humidity, which commonly fail. Again I resourced a repair kit, fitted it and everything worked fine - just as it should have done at pick up. Being an engineer, and to minimise cost, I did all the work myself - I asked NWA to reimburse me only for the parts used, as I considered that they could have got their mechanics to do the work should I have completed the 100m round trip once they had sourced the parts (which I am pretty sure they wouldn't have managed - it is only that I am retired I was able to spend the time to do so). They have done everything in their power not to pay up - they keep asking for an invoice - which I provided, along with proof of purchase - I think this is simply a tactic to frustrate so that you will eventually give up!!. Given that I spent around six hours doing the work and around twenty searching for parts and investigating the faults I am a little miffed by their approach to say the least. Their PDI and "Service" is a joke - they didn't pick up the AC fault, nor did they notice that the serpentine belt needed urgent replacement, along with a couple of hoses. They don't even take the wheels off to look at the brakes/suspension (their service Manager told me it would be looked at during MOT!!) just oil and filters and that's it. The Alarm/security system has a fault (indicated by the light on the dash being constantly on) but, surprise surprise, this is not covered under the warranty!! Whether or not all the above is common place is for others to judge - all I can say is that my experience with this company has been extremely poor, frustrating, costly and I council anyone entering their premises to tread carefully and possibly have a trusted mechanic with them - once you are out of the showroom/warehouse it seems to me that you are very much on your own.

Take it to the small claims court. Cameron illias was previously prosecuted by the council at a company he previously directed, Aston Motors. And now he directs NWA. This company nearly killed my son and his family because they sold him a very dangerous defective car. The rear axle snapped due to corrosion and now is trying to blame my son. They have breached my son's consumer rights numerous times and there so called solicitors aren't even regulated. Take it all the way. These people need to be shut down.

Totally agree with you, warranty not worth the paper it's written on. Just about to take them to court over a faulty headlamp. My consumer rights have been completely ignored, and their advertising is completely misleading with the AA endorsement reference.
