I arrived at Audi Vindis Northampton on 30/09/2024 and was told they had 50 cars being serviced this day, despite this the customer service I received from Lewis, one of the Audi apprentices was beyond great, due to the issue on my car being minor he tried his best to bump me up the queue, this wasn’t possible but, he invited me to the VIP lounge where I had access to unlimited hot drinks, coke and many other refreshments. Because it was highly likely I was going to be waiting until 17:30, Lewis spoke to his supervisors and he went and brought me lunch, he regularly checked up on me throughout my time here and anything I requested was sorted such as WiFi access, in all the years I have owned different vehicles this is by far the best service I have ever received and I don’t think it can be beaten! Lewis, you are an absolute asset to Audi Northampton.

Regrettably I have to give the Vindis group Audi in Northampton one star. I called to enquire as to the price for a transmission oil change AND new filter and was told by the representative on the phone, in no uncertain terms, that the filter was included in the price. When I then arrived to drop off my car the dealership said this was not the case and it would be an extra £70. I understand people make mistakes and the sales rep at the dealership made it right by knocking off the car rental cost so I went ahead. When I got my car back, (and before I left the dealership), I checked the engine bay to confirm all was well, as I always do, and was most surprised to see that the transmission filter only had 2 bolts holding it in instead of the 3 it should have! I brought this to the attention of staff who appeared as concerned as I was. Had I not checked, I would have driven off and likely lost oil which would have eventually led to my transmission failing and at the price of a new one-that would have been a write off for me and I doubt I would have had any recourse with the dealership. They allowed me to keep the rental for another day while they sorted it but it is staggering to me that this sort of huge oversight of a very basic task would happen at a main dealer. I had gone there because I wanted the peace of mind that an Audi accredited technician would be working on my car but I have now lost all confidence in them. The next day I was told that the person working on my vehicle had said that ‘new bolts did not come with the filter’ and that they ‘had to order them’. I can only surmise from this that the technician had lost one of the original bolts and rather than tell anyone-had decided to keep quiet and hope only two would do and no one would notice! Completely unacceptable. Now, I have to say that the customer care I received was good but that would be a secondary requirement to the diligence and integrity of the person working on my vehicle and the quality of the work carried out which in this case was severely lacking and could have cost me a new car. Unfortunately Vindis Audi in Northampton have now lost a prospective long term customer as I believe this was not just a case of a one off mistake but a wilful act to complete shoddy work, at their customers expense.
Craig and Andrew are both professional and understanding in your needs and have a vast knowledge in there sector. The service of buying a new car could not have been easier under the current climate. Would definitely buy from there again in 4 years time cheers to you both.

Leaving just one star for Northampton Audi pains me.. this dealership is truly awful from a service point of view, road side assistance had organised for my A3 to be taken into the garage as there was a fault. Service manager refused to give me a vehicle which had been arranged at the roadside as part of my lease agreement, told me to drive the 20 miles back home and I would be contacted.. I wasn’t contacted and still have the fault.. give these cowboys a wide berth !!
AVOID NORTHAMPTON AUDI. I purchased a new vehicle in April 2018, 1 week later I noticed a clicking/spinning noise from behind the dashboard. I contacted the dealer and they advised me to book the car in with my "local dealer" which I did, this was some 5 weeks later! The investigation was carried out and even after supplying numerous videos and even demonstrating the issue it was returned as no fault found! A month later i had numerous other faults with the car inc a severe static interference noise inside and outside the vehicle, and also an air con vent which flew out and hit my mum in the passenger seat!!! I contacted VWFS and the dealer yet again and was advised to book the vehicle in again, this time they did fault the noise and wanted to remove the dashboard to make further checks. I declined this and proceeded to reject the vehicle under the 30day law due to the quality and the fact that the fault I had since purchase was still there! After supplying endless videos proving that the fault had been there since new the finance company and dealer declined my rejection. They advised me "they didn't believe there was a fault from new" even though I proved there was, just because the dealer didn't have the competence to find it! The dealer had the cheek to advise me they couldn't hear the same noises as me on the videos but everyone else can! The finance company advised me they didn't even listen to or watch my videos which is a huge concern as they prove my point! I am now seeking further legal advise whilst the Financial Ombudsman resolve this matter! Stay clear from this dealer as the 3.7/5.0 rating suggests

I done the service on my car at Audi Northampton and after I00 miles the sheid under engine became lose and all the fittings was missing, I ring them and they said is not their fault. So live with it.

I put my Q7 into Northampton Audi to get the front offside door lock repaired, when I collected it the central locking did not work, they said to try and live with it we will phone you after the weekend and see how got on, they never did and when I tried to book it in they said that they could not fix it and cancelled my booking. Their service was terrible and they are very arrogant. I will never use them again.

I was perfectly happy with how the transaction went with Northampton Audi, everything went according to what I wanted, I was able to negotiate the price I wanted and they were happy to hold the car until a time that was convenient for me to collect. They were very flexible and accommodating throughout and I would absolutely recommend them.
