I wish if I had read other reviews before falling a victim to this dealer! A number of faults in the car have been deducted by an independent mechanic. They are currently trading under the name of Hartley Witney Motors Ltd and Simply Auto MOTORS Ltd. The director for Hartley Witney Motors Ltd is Ahmed Ali who sold the car to me. Despite the fact that serious faults were found within two weeks of purchase they are refusing offer me a refund and repairs. I am determined to take them to the court but they are not taking things seriously. So they will learn hard way because I am not going to give up until I get justice. Did anyone else had any luck in recovering money from them?

This review is very untrue we have always tried to help customers in their complaints, we are extremely un satisfied if customers are unsatisfied. we are extremely disappointed if customers are disappointed with their complaints. however threatening reviews we do not tolerate, Alex Reid sales assistant.

it is extremely easy to clock a cars mileage. it is easy to say HPI clear as maybe the car is so awful nobody wants to steal it. a car dealer can set up as a limited company but trade under different names. no real checks by companies house. VAT can be applied for as a sole trader of limited company. an rotten dealer can register in a building which houses 5000 businesses! trade elsewhere! no checks by companies house. any trader will take advantage of lax laws. don't blame the dealer as they are like anyone taking advantage of rules which are flawed and not there to help the general public as customers. if you get a good car, then you are lucky you bought from a good dealer
My inlaws went to pick my vehicle up from London Motors Ltd which is the new trading name, the vehicle was 'grubby' but nothing that a good valet can do. Other than this the car appeared in good nick, my inlaws drove the car up to me as I live in Norfolk but on the way the service light came on. Not a big problem at all I know but the start of the list. Within a week of having my new car when I went around left hand bends or was slightly turning left the back passenger door alarm went off but the door was firmly shut. This has been coming and going but when it is on it does not stop until the end of my journey. Then the engine management light came on and stated I needed to 'check emissions'. As I have now had the vehicle 3 weeks I decided to call the seller about the car and ask about the 3 months warrenty I got when I purchased the car. The owner then started shouting at me as I did not have the number I needed for the warrenty people and the issues had nothing to do with him. Now being 8 months pregnant I know I am emotional, however he was vile towards me and eventually hung up. I called him back and asked again for the number and he continued to shout at me and was even cross with me as the number I called charges him for calls, he then hung up again. My partner decided he needed to deal with this and the owner answered the phone by saying 'WHAT?' My partner asked him why he was shouting at me when I was only being polite, the owner then started shouting at my partner telling us that he sold us a 'poor scenic, I sold you poor scenic!'. My partner asked him why as a business he thinks this is ok and that it's ok to shout at customers, to this the owner replied 'f your mum' repeatedly. My partner could see that he was not going to get anywhere so ended the call. I too wish I had seen these reviews before dealing with this vile company and having to deal with this when I am 8 months pregnant.

I wish if I had read this forum before buying a car from here! I bought a car from here just before Christmas and when I took it to an independent mechanic they found a range of issues with the car. There are strong signs of clocked mileage. They are refusing to offer me refund or repair the car although the faults have been identified within two weeks of purchase. Currently they are operating under the name of Hartley Witney Motors Ltd. I'm determined to take this dealer Ahmed Ali director of this company to the court. Did anyone had any success in getting their money back from this dealer?
Do NOT purchase a car from here. We involved trading standards and solicitors and still did not get anywhere. Buying a car that we were told was in excellent used condition and would pass MOT the following month, only to fail miserably and we have had to spend over £2000 in a year on many many faults and problems to keep car drivable Even the issues covered under warranty were not fixed properly and we were forced to sign a disclaimer before they would give the car back. We are ill from dealing with these people - I only wish I had found this site before we purchased. Northfield Motors should be shut down.
John in response to Terrible
After several months of trying to find this doggy dealer, I have managed to get hold of his home address and the name of the new Company/showroom. Home Address: 2 Deanscroft Avenue, London, NW9 8EN Showroom Address: 3-4 Wycombe Road, Wembley, Middlesex, HA0 1RH He is now trading under BHZ Automotive Ltd & Hartley Witney Motors Ltd. I am sure that he has ripped off more people than us and he deserves to be caught!! Good Luck J

These reviews are totally false and misleading, Northfield London motors are previous tenants at the Wembley address, we are new occupiers at the address, we feel this is a very threatening to us your review john, Alex Reid sales assistant. We have always carried out business in the best possible way. but in this world not everyone can be satisfied.
I bought a car and now everything is failing and the free warranty is not paying out ,
Not a good place to purchase a car. All cars look good on the website but please do not waste time going there. I made a very expensive mistake the minute I took the salesmans word as his bond, gutted. If you are determined to go there then I cannot help you......REALLY ONLY TRYING TO HELP ....
I saw the car I liked, looked it over and said I would like to buy but there were faults, I was told "don't worry all the faults can be sorted out" I felt ok after taking this on board and asked for a test drive, had a drive and car went quite well however on return trying to reverse into the lot the car did not move and I was told the reversing lights didn't work (they had previously) I was told the car was fine and bits would be sorted. On arriving home I checked and found that the multitronix gearbox had faults where the reverse didn' work, I phoned and e-mailed to say I wanted the car checked properly, I was assured it would be and they would call when it was ready (should be 2 or 3 ddays). I phoned after 4 days and was told "we are still awaiting part" (the part was a new glove box) I phoned next day, no reply, the following day I was told it was all done, I travelled over 30 miles to find NOTHING had been done, no new glove box damage to front wing dant at rear and gearbox .
The seller looked pleasant and spontaneous with sales pitching with skills in communicating quality and standards. During the sale discussion I have asked about HPI check, I was shown a Directgov MOT history request and no mention of car being written-off. When I notified him of such information he just said it was stated on the internet ad and hang up the phone. I sent text messages politely asking the seller to communicate and give full refund and cost of having car repaired. This is truly a hard lesson learnt. The Sale of Goods Act 1979, Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and Guidance for second hand car dealers 2010 will provide relevant information on buying & selling and consumer rights.
Terrible service with the car I purchased from her the customer care and help was the worst I have ever experienced, this business buys and resells faulty cars for quick money.. No value for customer happiness.. Communication was terrible before and worse after car was sold. I would not recommend purchases from here as false promise and guarantees are offered for a quick sale for them. TRY TO AVOID
