Having been in the motor trade for over 27 yrs myself it was never going to be easy to find the perfect dealer with the perfect car but I happened to find Adam at Norton Automotive who was very honest and open over the phone and when on a video call he showed me every bit of detail even the small bad bits, He gave me a fair and honest PX offer for my car and we did a deal over the phone, Up on arriving at the garage Adam was there and offered me the keys for me to take a good look over the car and it was exactly as he described it to be, he checked and drove my car and all was good, Adam was also brilliant to contact after the sale as it came apparent of a very small issue when having driven the car after a day or two, I contacted Adam and we agreed to get the car diagnosed and fixed, Adam made this process very easy and was very helpful, He also paid the invoice for the work the same day, so my experience of this garage is one of complete satisfaction and I would recommend to anybody that finds a vehicle for sale with them, Customer service is completely free it costs nothing to look after customers and give a great service and this was demonstrated with Norton Automotive, Thanks Craig BMW X5

Left us waiting for 30 minutes even though we’d booked an appointment. Refused to let us test drive unless we said we definitely wanted the car. Bizarre, how would you know without driving it. Some damage not mentioned on the advert. Waste of an afternoon.

I am sorry you were kept waiting but we cannot stop dealing with a customer that was in prior to yourselves, all we can do is try and finish with them as quickly as possible. Also, just to clarify, this customer made an appointment via email, if they had called us (as we always suggest) then we would have given an accurate description over the phone or they could have inspected the pictures that show a dent on the door. This customer had suggested that they were not wanting to pay the asking price so there was no point in going for a test drive on wet horrible roads. I am sorry your experience wasn't great but good luck with your car search.
Just bought a vehicle from Adam and totally I am happy with the experience. Honest , trustworthy reliable . I viewed , we agreed a price and everything went smoothly. Having travelled from Southampton to buy I have no hesitation in recommending Norton Automotive.

Bought a little Fiesta van which in general is a very tidy little van. I do not have issues with the van but more the salesman. He was very set on his price which is fine if it was as good as he made out. I feel the van was parked in such a position it hid a little dent to the drivers door. I had to squeeze by to get in and have a look etc. There was also a very large chip of paint to the A pillar which had tried to be touched in and hidden. The wheels had all been severely kerbed so when I returned home I had them take off and stripped down for a full colour change. Both rear tyres were on the legal limit. I do take some responsibility for this however when I mentioned it on the telephone all I got was “aww okay” My biggest concern was I had been told the van belonged to his friend who used it for commuting etc. His friend was a Mormon or worked for a company ran by Mormons so the radio had been disconnected. He advised me they had reconnected it but he didn’t think the DAB was working. I managed to fix the is myself however once I got home I realised a CD had been left in the player. It was a personal CD of 4 songs of which someone had made. All the lyrics to the four songs contained “N*ggar, F*uck that Ho” and all sorts of other outrageous language. I personally wasn’t offended by the CD itself but more of just the lies. It also has been near on three weeks now and I still have not received the log book. It takes two seconds to complete online yet this guy is still in the Stone-age and posted it… I wouldn’t recommend this dealership.

I can honestly say that in all my years of experience that this dealer is the most honest and trusted I have ever come across. if I could give 11/10 I would as the level of service received is absolutely fantastic. You will find same price car somewhere else. Bought a car from them part ex the car. Who ever got my old car got 2 fines and even after appealing it for rejected had to pay fines for someone else. Issue is this people did not transfer the car on to their name even after a week. If you do sale a car transfer the car your self don’t wait on this people to save them money.

Adam was very understanding and considerate, offering advice to get the matter sorted. I collected my vehicle from him and he was very professional in sorting everything out.
