I passed my test in May 2018 and purchased a Ford Focus from Notingham Autogroup at the end of May!! Should have changed my mind the day we went pay and was greeted by a clearly alcoholic women supping a can of super' at 11am on a Sunday! Long story short this car has been a nightmare from day 1!! We have done nothing but throw money at in since purchase, rubbish warranty that wasn't even registered by them at purchase, I had to chase and chase them to get it registered. A new hose, new thermostat housing, new alternator are just a few of the issues we have had to deal with in the short time we've has this vehicle. Just been quoted another £500 worth of repairs that will need doing before MOT in April. Also started receiving parking and speeding fines from in and around Birmingham, turns out car was cloned before we purchased, so our vehicle is now 'marked' by the police and liable of being pulled. I really don't want anyone else to make the same mistake we made which totally took the shine off me gaining my freedom on the road! Please don't give them a penny of your money, they are money Hungary selfish oxygen thieves!!!!
To all the people wanting a working car never mind a good one, please don't come to Nottingham Autogroup. This has been far the worst thing that's happened, I purchased a car, waited around 2 weeks after payment to get it. Only to get it with it being faulty, dirty inside. It was terrible. They parked the car across the road where the shops are, they said if I don't take its fine. Leave it there near the shops, obvs I took it. I said under warranty can you fix it they said take me to court. I have been in contact with a few people on here that have took them to court, but court cannot make the company pay unless you pay can't say we will take it away/or bailiffs. Just to add, this company have already been on Can't pay we will take it away before. I decided not to take them to court, you think your protected by the AA Promise right? Nope. The company didn't respond to them now AA are opening an internal investigation. I decided to dispute with my debit card, don't be fooled Credit card is 100% protection under section 75 act, but you are also protected under the charge back scheme on your debit card which is what I did. I lost the case first because they sent some phony letter, I had like an album of evidence which was sent, and a covering letter and I won case. my dad bought a car from Nottingham Autogroup for my daughters 18th in july this year, looked nice, ran ok for 2 days, done less than 40 miles, oil pump is knackered, rang them several times to arrange for them to sort this problem out & it’s passed from 1 person to the next, from not knowing to ring when the managers here is all we have had & then we got a call saying they are getting quotes for it to be done & guess what ? 2 weeks later & we are still waiting for a call to find out what’s happening, rang again today & the receptionist couldn’t work the phone heard her saying “ i don’t know how to answer this “ says it all, looks like my only option is to get it back by going to my dads credit card & doing it that way... they don’t deserve 1 star but wouldn’t let me write a review without it. NOTTINGHAM AUTOGROUP IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!
Nottingham Autogroup posted an advert on eBay motors a nice looking car, drove through had a look at everything, everything seemed fine and legit. Went back a couple of days later to pick up the car all insured tax’d Etc. 4 days later woken up after been on nights to 2 cop cars, 3 officers banging on the door. Answers door, to be told my car what I had purchased was stolen and was on false plates stolen from another vehicle. Still chasing for a refund, and the owner of Nottingham Autogroup doesn’t want anything to do with it and done some digging he’s does this to a poor woman before and he’s providing a fake name about himself.
Car I bought from the Nottingham Autogroup drove well upon test drive and price was fair and was assured the car had NEVER been in an ACCIDENT and showed no faults but that an AC needed to be regassed. Looking around the car upon leaving i noticed part of the grill had been taped on with black tape to hide the fact a bird or small animal had gone through it and smashed into unknowingly at the time the AC condenser behind. I spoke to the manager at the time who did not want anything to do with the car even though i brought it minutes before and had a warranty. Agreed to split the cost of a new grill which they never got back to me about even though numerous attempts to do so. Now summer has come and i needed AC i have to foot the bill of a new AC condenser (£144) + AC recharge (£36) + Labour (£80) while leaving the broken grill to sort another day. UNHAPPY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

NOT HAPPY AT ALL! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! GOOD TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, ONCE HES HAD YOUR MONEY THEN HE DOSENT WANT TO ENTERTAIN YOU. I purchased a Peugeot 308 in January, the car went wrong after 6 days. I returned the car to them asking for a refund they completely blanked me, blanked my emails letters and phone calls. Kept fobbing me off with all sorts of answers. They have ended up selling the car on as I got a letter from the dvla stating there's a change of ownership. So they have had my money and now had somebody else's. AVOID AVOID AVOID! will be claiming my money through the courts now as they are avoiding me now.

Yep very very good no pushing down to earth ...Mick the sales guy is a great bloke sort of chap you could easily talk to and can't do enough for you...but unfortunately I did not purchase the car due to my expectations....the car was at a great price which reflected in the mileage even knocked mick (lovely chap) down a bit it was in great shape and conditions for an 08 plate but there were a couple of minor bits and bobs that Mick was gona put right for me but i decided to tell him i was a bit ambitious of my expectations....dont get me wrong its a smashing car for the price...but i just felt i did not want to buy it in the end but if you ever view any off there cars and you find some thing your not happy with mick will get it sorted at no exra cost..really was a pleasure this guy....but i think id rather spend a little more on something with a bit less milage on it perhaps me just being to picky.....but yes an absolure pleasure dealing with this company....honest as you can get.....highly recomended if you want to get a nice vehicle....straight as they come these guys if you decide you dont want the vehicle....no problem ...this car will sell very soon.....even honouring you deposit back within a couple of weeks if you change your mind
I know nothing about cars which is pretty obvious from talking to me..I don't read reviews because I'm pig headed and if I like something I like it regardless!.....I'm an obvious target to get 'done over'! I wanted 'a nice shiny black car with 4 doors that played music and had good heating!' saw the shiny merc on eBay checked the reg on an mot app and all was good, contacted these guys, thought they were lovely sounding so arranged to go and view; we drove many miles to get there and the van broke down on the way..they stayed open late just for us for which I'm so grateful! Got there a really nice down to earth guy showed us around the car and then left us to look for ourselves for a bit, the car had a couple of minor scratches (to be expected) I felt it needed 2 new tyres which we mentioned and they lowered the price to compensate I didnt have to barter or beg, they gave it a long mot and 6 months warranty. I've called them twice one to ask about the tyre air pressure it needed (I'm a bit dumb when it comes to cars!) and once to ask about the warranty; the guy on the phone is fantastic and really helpful (both prior to and after us buying the car), I've had two very good friends who are mechanics drive the car & haven't found fault with it & both have told me I've bought a good car at a good price...they were shocked!, I can't thank these guys enough you've sold me my dream car thank you!!! I don't normally leave reviews but I'm so pleased I've felt I needed to and I will certainly suggest them to friends and will go back to them when I need another car, well worth the long drive!
Had my car for 2 months and had no issues. Staff were really helpful and answered all my questions. Will be back for my next car
