Unprofessional collection operatives, rub the bodywork of a dirty car with a cloth and fingers, try to tell me brakes were worn out when three months before a MOT with no advisories was carried out. Fly by night operation as far as I am concerned, do well to avoid.

I thought I had purchased a warranty, however when the car was stolen, i contacted Blue Chip who informed me that I was a third party as Oakdene had purchased it for me, putting a healthy profit on it too( thats business) after no reply from the egotistical men in suits who know nothing about cars, I chased them , and was told no refund and its at our discretion !! Don't go near them. My next move is County Court.

Hello, we are also very upset customers with oakdene collection. We're currently in the process of taking them to court. Can I ask how you got started with taking them to court please?
Just bought my series 440i grand coupe from Oakdene collection in Alfreton just off jnc 28. Fantastic car great service from the guys especially Dan who was my salesman. No pushy sales just great service. Would recommend highly.
Beware of these scammers. They sold me a car with faults. As soon as I got home, the instrument cluster went completely blank, and the active grille shutters were broken. They seemed supportive at first and offered to replace everything. They took the car back and sent it to JWS for repairs, which took over a month. When I got the car back, it had even more issues: the driver’s seat headrest was damaged, the driver’s seat side trim was damaged, and the dashboard trim wasn’t fitted properly after replacing the instrument cluster. Andy, their prep manager, seemed helpful at the dealership, promising to order a new headrest to be sent to my home and to speak with the director about fixing the other issues. A couple of days later, I called Andy for an update, but he said he was on holiday and asked me to contact Scott, the salesman who sold me the car. Scott kept saying they wouldn’t do anything more for the car, mentioning they had already spent a lot on replacing the instrument cluster and active grille shutters. I explained that these were their issues because they sold me a faulty vehicle. When I mentioned contacting Citizens Advice, Scott said they wouldn’t order a new headrest but could fix the old one and repair the other damages if I travelled there. I told them the dealership is quite far from me and asked if they would cover the fuel costs, but they refused. So, I demanded a full refund, as the vehicle had more issues when it was returned after replacing instrument cluster and active grille shutters and by law, I don’t have to accept a second repair. They refused, so now I’m taking them to court and posting this everywhere on social media

I Purchased a Range Rover Vogue from Oakdeane in March 24. The car looked well prepared however I noticed a large tear in the rear Tyre when I got home and washed the car off. I took it to a local car dealer who said the tyre should be replaced however after talking to Scott at Oakdeane I was told that his Director would not agree to replace the tyre as in his view it would pass an Mot. Not the service you expect from a prestige car seller. Subsequently I have noticed that the black painted alloys are peeling and all 4 wheels need sorting by someone who knows what they are doing. The wheels were clearly not prepped before being painted. Cost to sort £500. Overall I'm left very disappointed about the experience given the money spent and the mark up on my Prorsche trade in.

Horrible experience with the most arrogant car salesman I've came across., tried to claim car was faulty to try and haggle price down. When I didn't take him on he started throwing obscenities at me over the phone!! A disgrace to the trade!!!!

The service Oakdene pitched me over the phone seemed too good to be true but Jordan my salesman convinced me to part with my deposit, I also opted for a 2 years Ceramic coating and 2 year Warranty Wise cover. On the day of collection, I met Jordan who was very professional and has continued to be throughout my problems with Oakdene, he showed me the car with no pressure behind the sale. The car inside and out was stunning, I can say I’ve never seen such a well prepped car on the face of things from any dealership before, the paintwork was in 98% excellent condition as was the interior, they had clearly spent the time here. Upon testing driving the car all was well apart from a knocking noise coming from the rear of the car, at the time it didn’t sound much to worry about. I advised Jordan upon returning from my test drive and he got one of their mechanics to come on a short drive with me who also confirmed he could hear the noise. After a quick check he admitted he couldn’t see anything worth worrying about. They told me the vehicle had been through extensive checks with Auto 100 and had a new MOT with a separate 3rd party garage. They also said they would help claim under my warranty I had taken out straight away to get the knocking noise resolved, if this wasn’t successful they would fix the issue themselves as it shouldn’t be present on the car. I liked the car so decided to take their word for it, my mistake! Should Warranty Wise be paying for a poorly prepared car, surely this should have been dealt with by Oakdene? Soon as I got the car home I booked the car into my local garage as instruction by Jordan to have the noise investigated. They found 2 cracked rear springs one with 3 breaks, a leaking differential and 2 front tyres on their legal limit. How was I sold a car that had undergone “extensive checks” and had a new MOT in such a dangerous condition especially as this was a high performance car which people often take to track days. I also had my child in this car that had shattered springs. Had it even seen an MOT test station as the spring breaks are clearly visible under the car? I informed Oakdene who confirmed the car was checked and MOT’d and the damage must have been done on my drive home (50 miles). I have uploaded pictures of the rusted springs - not showing any clean breaks for you to make your own mind up when these breaks occurred. Naturally we all thought this was the cause of the knocking noise and with much backwards and forwards due to the price the garage wanted to invoice for the repairs (including Joe (M.D?) being rude to them) they got Warranty Wise to pay for the claim which was also declined at first as they don’t cover springs as part of my policy. Bill total £1400. Unfortunately, soon as I drove the car out of the garage the original knocking was still present, they took a second look and couldn’t find anything further evident that could be at fault and going forward at this point would be a best guess and costly swap it and see scenario. I agreed with Jordan we would wait a while for the knocking to become worse. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, I booked the car in a second time as it now sounds like a jungle drum and they garage have found both shock absorbers to have failed causing the noise which they can now replicate on the ramp to the noise in question. Bill total £1100. I informed Oakdene they told me to tell my warranty, they again declined the claim this time as they don’t cover “worn” items. I then asked Oakdene to pick up this bill as due to the Consumer Law act 2015 - the car is still within 6 months of purchase with a problem present at time of sale. They cannot diss-prove this to be the case due to all of the above to which I also have extensive emails, SMS’s, photos and witnesses to the events that took place. Even though they have still seen fit to declined to pay for the car washing their hands on their original promise. I am now undergoing legal instruction and requesting to return the car as Oakdene have now stopped all communication with me.

Hello, we are also very upset customers with oakdene collection. We're currently in the process of taking them to court. Can I ask who you went to about trying to get this resolved? We're not sure where to begin with taking them to court. Thanks.
If you are thinking about buying a vehicle from Oakdene, I would think twice about it, as I bought a Range Rover Vogue from them in Nov 23 and PX my vehicle and took finance out by the Oakdene recommended finance Close Brothers, to which I have no end of trouble with the vehicle and they are just not interested in assisting with this matter. Within 3 weeks of owing the vehicle I had to have warranty work done on my vehicle totaling approximately £2000. 3 months after owning the vehicle I received a letter from Close Brothers saying my vehicle had been stolen, I contacted them to say the Range Rover was still outside my house, when they checked they told me the vehicle was stolen in 2016, which I was not aware of as the garage had done an HPI check on it and said it was clear which I explained this to Close Brothers to which they stated they were unaware on how they had financed the Vehicle as well. Close Brothers said they would have to look into it and do diligent checks and get back to me and recommended I contact the garage, I spoke to Scott told me to speak to the finance company as they had carried out HPI check, as I cannot see it would only come on to the register now 8 years after it was stolen. I have since contacted Close Brothers over 7 times and they keep telling me they are carrying out checks, I have done 3 HPi checks on the vehicle myself and comes back as stolen. The garage and Close Brother are trying to say it was put on the register after I had bought the vehicle due to me putting my private plate on the car. I have contacted the HPI direct who could not discuss with me but said there was something not right with it and confirmed the stolen date, and that I need to this discuss with Oakdene or Close brothers. I have called Close Brothers again to say I do not want this vehicle anymore due to the market value of the vehicle now and the fact it is now on the register showing as stolen, they told me to contact the garage back, I’ve called the garage and told them I want the deal rewinding and myself putting back in the same situation as before I bought the vehicle, Scott told me it was down to Close Brothers to sort, told Scott that they had taken my deposit and it was down to them. I feel I am just getting passed from pillar to post this has been going on over 3 weeks now and I have a car I cannot use, as I have been advised that my insurance is now invalid due to value of this vehicle has dropped from what I have originally paid for. Leaving no alternative but to contact the FAS and a Solicitors to unwind this deal. I do not want this vehicle I have been sold and left me with a lot of stress I do not need. I think the service I have been supplied from Oakdene is disgraceful, and the customer service at Close Brothers is shocking especially as it was them that brought this matter to my attention. I am the innocent party in all this and its myself who is doing all the chasing.
