Bought a car from Oakley motor company back in Sep 3. Felt confident with the company at point of sale. 2 days after purchase the powetrain warning light come on and the car lost all power. They offered to have a look at the vehicle and gave me my part ex back while fixing the new car. The mechanic lied about changing parts on the new car, and used 3/4 of a tank of fuel 2 days of having it. Also while i had my old one back, the fuse blew up( the car had been in the family since 2007 and never had anything like that happen to it). Still had problems after picking up the car they stopped answering my calls. 9 months later found the gearbox had been tampered with and leaking oil, screws were taken out the engine mount and not put back in properly (resulted in my engine falling on the driveshaft), and the fuel pump wasn't connected to engine properly and was just blowing air instead of diesel into the engine. I also paid for 12 months warranty from company which they refused to send the paperwork to me for. Luckily got that back through my bank due to miss sell. At all costs avoid!

Went to look at three separate cheap budget cars, the guys gave us no hassle and were extremely patient with us. fingers crossed car serves its purpose as a 'runaround' Would not hesitate using again in the future.

After did the deal Oakley Motor Company went behind my back and sold car then didn't answer emails or telephone calls. Avoid at all costs.

I bought a car from Oakley motor company and later changed my mind and the lads at Oakley swapped the car for me excellent professional service clean and very helpful

DO NOT buy any car from Oakley motors Coventry rd. They are only interested in getting your debit card in the machine, they don't tell all the facts about the car!!!!!!

Purchased a car from Oakley motor company on recommendation by a friend, found the staff to be genuinely friendly and caring but also very knowledgable about their trade. What really struck me was that they were not just after a sale but also cared about my needs and requirements as I am new and young driver. After I purchased my new car, eight weeks later I had a slight problem which can happen with second hand cars, I rang the garage again they were welcoming and very polite and sorted out the problem. I will definately be going back to them for my next car.

Purchased a car from Oakley Motors to which the staff very pleasant at first. Had cars from private sales where they had lots of faults. Saved very hard for this car and went to a dealer as felt safer to purchase from a dealer. During warranty there was a fault to the car to which they ignored my calls. Seven weeks had passed and car broke down. AA called and car completely gone, gearbox fault (automatic). Oakley Motors refused to fix car saying its passed its warranty. On further checks by professionals the linkages have been tied together with wires? Gearbox completely gone. Also the bulb to engine management light had been taking out so we had no warning. Due to sales of goods act we are having to take this further. All emails including recorded letters of action and asking to come to some sort of agreement all correspondences have been ignored. Yes very pleasant and helpful when you are purchasing. I suggest if buying from them have the car fully checked by another company i.e.. AA. They did not care that we saved a long time for a decent car.
