I bought a bronze Range Rover Evoque (2014) from Darren before purchasing the vehicle the service we received from Darren was good and as a returning customer I didn’t expect anything different. Before we purchased the vehicle I spoke to Darren on the phone regarding the MOT and service history of the vehicle and Darren agreed that he would put a 12months MOT on it and that the car had full service history, Once the MOT was completed there were advisories regarding rust and corrosion speaking to Darren with concerns he agreed that this would be repaired to a high standard. Once the car was ready I made my way to collect the vehicle which was after opening hours. Within the first 10 miles of me owning the car I noticed a knocking/clunking noise coming from the car, Darren was made aware of this the next day and I was advised it had a new top mount and it was just the new rubber that needed time to settle in and to give it time, after some time we contacted Darren to make arrangements to take the vehicle back and get it repaired, this was suppose to have been repaired by an independent garage that Darren uses. On collecting the vehicle from the independent garage I was told the car had been repaired with a genuine Range Rover part (TOP MOUNT AGAIN) i drove roughly 150 miles home and the noise was back again. My partner contacted Darren to explain that the noise was back and ask for proof of invoice for the part that was replaced and Darren refused so we had no evidence of the work being carried out. Darren told my partner that it is no longer anything to do with him and we should connect the garage directly to arrange drop off. The car was repaired again along with a service which was overdue when buying the vehicle. Looking over the service history we noticed that it was not serviced from 2019-2022 and had covered 22,000 miles when my partner spoke to Darren regarding the service history Darren said that he advises all his vehicles in this way. after speaking to the finance company we believed that the car had been misrepresented and I requested that the vehicle should be returned for this matter while this was ongoing the car needed new rear brakes I took the car to a garage and the mechanic contacted me after a couple of hours stating that the back callipers had seized and ideally would need new callipers along with pads and also recommend that the car gets inspected by an independent garage as the condition of the underneath of the vehicle was in really poor condition this made be believe that the high standards Darren promised to repair it to was not the case. The vehicle was inspected by the garage and deemed to be in very poor condition and parts were missing due the corrosion for example DPF loose with rattle and bolts corroded and snapped also fuel heat shield was completely missing and much more. While this was going on the financial ombudsman was involved and I stated if we knew about the missing servicing history and the condition of the vehicle this was have impacted my decision in buying this car. I collected this car in May and the case was finally resolved and the car was collected on the 4th of December. I had this car parked on my drive unable to drive it due to the unsafe condition of the vehicle and the timing belt being well overdue. I have 2 full inspection reports and photos of the underneath of the vehicle for proof of this review. Darren lied to the finance company and said the vehicle wasn’t listed as full service history with the car being removed from the website and no proof of the listing I contacted AUTO TRADER and they were able to send me the ADD even though it had been taken off this was again sent as proof then Darren stated to the finance company it missed the services because it was Covid the ombudsman agreed that this wasn’t a good enough reason as the car covered 22,000 miles during that period. This is a long review but In hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. When buying a car from Darren please don’t make the same mistake as myself and trust a dealership from previous experiences and make sure to check the service history. I hope the repairs have been done as the car is now listed again after a few weeks in handing it back. My main concern throughout was Darren lying about the service history not only to ourselves but also to the finance company and I would be happy to share every bit of evidence of this if the review would accept images. A Ronseal performance. A no frills business The small team gave me a fair price for my car over the phone. I travelled from the Midlands to collect my very nice nearly new car. I found the process efficient and stress free.
If I do not make others aware of how Oaktree Motor Co Wales operates, I would feel partially responsible for him repeating what he did to me on perspective customers. After shy of 2 weeks, this dealer refused to give me my £300 deposit back; (knowing my unforeseen circumstances of my terminally ill Parents & house move I had kept him in the loop daily) he laughed & sent attempts at threats and laughing emoji's (who on earth acts like that). Furthermore, I was told there were countless others interested in the car (-the car remains on his site 7 months later presently unsold & reduced by £1000+). I'm not bitter or hostile and have never left a negative review of anyone, therefore please be assured this is heavily justified. All in all, un-professional , un-classy behaviour (inferring 'what else is he capable of in terms of services); keeping £300 from a single working parent who is also her family's sole carer (reflection of how healthy sales are)- Bless. Bought a bmw from Oaktree Motor Co Wales spending £6500. It was evident within a few weeks that there was an issue with the car. After a few phone calls I was advised to take the car to a particular garage as it was under warranty which did not sort out the problem After spending another approx £2000 on trying to repair the car I had no other choice but to trade in the car for a car on finance from another dealer. I had 1800 for the bmw which I had paid £6500 for. So altogether having a loss of over £8000 I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unhelpful is an understatement. Would not take the car back or wish to sort out and issues. The one and only reason I haven’t taken this further with trading standards is because by the time I found out I had a case within consumer law I had traded the car in for something reliable Which was needed after going weeks at a time without a car whilst it was in a garage trying to rectify the issues. with four children and work that was impossible. Never ever ever buy from these robbing wasters! Even had the cheek to blame my driving. Funny because I haven’t had a problem with my driving in the car I have now !! And call me a dull c*** at one point and would not even take the car back in part ex for another. Speaks volumes really !!!!

I bought a RangeRover Sport off Oaktree Motor Company Wales around a year and a half ago and to be fair it's been great, obviously the usual maintenance have had to be done to the truck but the service buy these guys was very good. After having the RR for 5 months i had to make a claim on the warranty and to be fair it all went smoothly. Highly recomended.

i have just bought an XF jaguar sport from Oaktree Motor Company Wales. I found car on web site,owner very helpful owner Darren.if you are looking for a good deal try this garage all cars i have seen there are all clean does not stock any rubbish there.have had car a few days minor fault with brakes contacted Darren the owner having car in straight away to solve issue no questions asked.WOULD recommend visiting to take a look.

My wife bought a Vauxhall Astra from these not so long ago, first impressions very friendly and welcoming, on inspection the car was clean and looked decent enough, wasn't until we got home that we realised how much we overpaid for the car(our own fault for not researching car value etc) but apart from that, 2 weeks later exhaust dropped off, then problems coming up on dashboard regarding emissions, then problem with catalyst, had all that repaired which wasn't cheap. on day of arriving home with car, noticed slow puncture on drivers side. I would never ever go to these again simply as its poor value for money and customer service is non existent once they have you're money, I highly recommend to shop elsewhere, there are a lot more better car dealers out there who won't treat you like this just to make a fast buck rather than a name for themselves.

Hi, This review doesn't seem legit as my vehicles come with a new mot, so the exhaust falling off is highly unlikely, if this happened why not call me so i can rectify the issue? also the puncture issue can happen at any time and as you know any Tyre firm will repair punctures very cheaply if you picked a puncture up.
