I put a deposit down and couldn’t get the car because of the finance company yet these kept my money and wouldn’t give it back stating “we had to turn 3 viewings down” it was two hours between paying it and asking for it back. Yet it was re advertised within 15 minutes and still not sold. Watchdog and ombudsman contacted. WOULDNT TRUST THIS COMPANY

i purchased a car from OAKWOOD in June 2017, they was an advisory on the MOT regarding an oil leak which they hadnt fixed but would review - for the next 4 months i was back and forward until being told it was fixed then yesterday the car gave up and is apparently dangerous to drive (independant inspection) this is a car in which i have done less than 5000 miles and owned for less than 9 months. spoke to the garage and they basically told me it was out of there hands and that i should contact the warranty company - no phone number just an email (all registered to the same building and person) which i have done but dont really expect an answer or any assistance.

Just brought my BMW from here, really happy with my early Xmas pressie. The car is spotless, paperwork all in order and salesman explained everything in English so we have no misunderstandings should we find a problem later on. Really felt at ease with these guys.

I bought a car from here in September 2017. Like many others it has turned out to be a disaster. The car has so far cost me over £1000 & still isn't running right. If you want a quality used car go to a reputable garage, avoid Oakwood used cars at all cost!

Bought my car from here last month. The Salesman was great explained all in great detail so we didn't have a wasted journey. Got held up, we arrived later than expected and he had all ready for us, car keys, paperwork and stayed later without a whim. Not rushed, nice guy. Will happily recommend this dealership to my pals

Traveled some distance to look at a vehicle that was for sale at Oakwood Vehicle Sales of Harlow. Was only £2k so I was not expecting a lot. The male who greeted us at the door was far from helpful. It was raining really heavily which made inspecting the vehicle difficult. When we asked if there was somewhere dry we could go to inspect the vehicle, he said their garage was full (fair comment) but we then suggested a petrol station, simply to get out of the rain but he immediately refused. He then questioned why we wanted a test drive and following some persuasion, he said we could but only to the end of the road. He made some excuse about the road tax implications - not sure why they didn't have trade plates, which most reputable car dealers have - who on earth would buy a car without test driving it! He did eventually allow us to drive the vehicle but we only managed to get into 3rd gear before he said that's it you need to turn around. Luckily we didn't buy the car because we were dubious of [him] and the garage. I took a mechanic with me and fortunately for me he immediately told me not to buy the car! If you are thinking of buying a car, then please be careful.

Me and my partner the traveled 150miles to view a car to find out it was absolutely wrecked they were constant about not dropping the price and they didn't want me to test drive it.. saying they were busy and haven't got much time even tho it was 10am also I was the only customer there and the car was £9000 what a joke. It had no receipts for any work that had been done as they were claiming it's had recent work on the suspension etc the sales man admitted they had no idea where they got the car from and that was very worrying as it had been off the road for the past 11 months with no log book and only one key. The Engine light was on when I got in and he said oh it wasn't when I pulled it out?! Yeah sure it wasn't pal?! I Pulled of for a test drive that was all of 400 meters long that lasted 3 minutes not being able to get over 3rd gear, the suspension was making all sort of knocks and noises and the steering was grinding on full lock.. they made me feel invisible as a customer as he kept walking off and leaving me standing there like a complete mug, they were not helpful at all, It felt more like he was more pushing me away from the car rather that trying to sell it.. I left fuming.. 2 hours later the price had dropped £500 on there website in the summer sale. STAY AWAY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED HE SHOULDNT BE WORKING INFRONT OF PEOPLE LET ALONE A SALESMAN!

I have just bought my second car from Oakwood Vehicle Sales and I have been very pleased with both cars. Great value for money and very helpful staff. I was recommended to this dealer by a friend, who was very pleased with her purchase. I would not consider going anywhere else. Great value. Great service...
