Bought a new r1300gs bike for the first time ever , worst experience of a 45 year history of bikes .. bike was condemned twice as unsafe to be on road , each time after ocean had said ot was fine or that they had repaired it. Don't be surprised when it takes weeks to get an email or phone call after contacting them . This has been a long drawn out tale of absolute incompetence. Now going through legal channels to get a refund . Buyer beware !

Went into Ocean 3 weeks ago to have a look at a IX3 and was offered good service by their sales rep' who offered me an immediate test drive of circa 30 mins. I was very pleased as i didn't expect this, i came back very happy and booked in for another longer test drive the following Saturday to check the range. When i arrived, all my details were taken and keys handed over and went to the car to find the car had not been charged, it only had 83 miles charge. The whole point of the test drive was to see how it would go on a full charge on a motorway to see if i could get a 200 miles or so from the battery. I have done a similar test drive with Audi and Jaguar, but i prefer the BMW! They did say i could charge it somewhere but as i pointed out that would take circa 3 hours due to charging points in Cornwall... After several apologies i was rebooked in for a 3rd test drive the following Saturday after rescheduling a few things. When arriving at Ocean i received a call from Ocean which i missed and when i spoke to Ocean i was told the car had been charged but the test drive was double booked with another couple. The sales manager blamed the sales rep' that was off sick that day saying it wasn't booked in (even though she confirmed it with me before i left the previous week) and offered a minimal apology. 'Can we book you in again', this would have been a 4th weekend i needed to arrange things around a test drive and when i asked whether he could rearrange the other couples test drive (given they had already let me down) rather than mine he blankly refused. Its as if they don't work in customer service at this dealership and they dont seem to train their staff. Most dealerships send you a confirmation of a booking or even dare i say call you the day before to confirm. Bear in mind this is supposed to be a premium brand, you would imagine the service would be similar. Clearly not at Ocean.

visit for recall, told to bring vehicle at 10am for work, when arrived was informed to come back at 5pm, no offer of courtesy car , called partner to come and pick me up( lucky i could call someone ) or would have wandered around falmouth all day in rain as all cafes closed due to covid, went back 5 hours later on off chance car would be ready, not likely still parked up not even started work, 5.10pm came back and was informed checked part with camera ,all good, i wonder how long that would have taken! , i thought the part would have been replaced as it can be a fire hazard and will seek a second opinion as i have no faith in them, what a waste of time. pete
We purchased 3 used BMWs last Friday and because of the great service we encountered throughout the buying process we decided it was worth driving 6 hours there and 6 hours back rather than use the surrey based arrogant dealerships local to us. in particular Storm wills who was attentive throughout the whole process and Jordan Bell who took the time to make sure everything was running smoothly both were excellent throughout and their personal service was impeccable. quite often you wait ages for someone to ring you back and then your treated as they are doing you a favour selling you a car, but Im pleased these guys were nothing like that as nothing was too much trouble and for sure we will be buying from there again GOOD JOB GUYS!!!

Having battled with Ocean BMW Falmouth because the car they sold me was faulty, upheld by the Motor Ombudsman, both Mark Pickersgill & Jordan Bell were not interested in helping me out. The display screen could never be fixed despite taking it back to Ocean BMW Falmouth more than 6 times. Please - if you intend to purchase a car from this incompetent garage then think twice, they are just not interested once the car leaves the garage, mine faulted the day I drove it away after buying it and after 18 months they refused to take the car back despite the MO upholding my complaint, I have received NO apology, NO compensation, NO sympathy, NO good will gesture, NO contact from them (I have had to chase them time after time) - absolutely NOTHING from them, I am totally disgusted and would never go anywhere near the place ever again. I dealt with Jordan Bell and Mark Pickersgill - both have complete disregard for me and my situation, both have NO customer care skills whatsoever - I hope they both hold their heads in shame at the way I have been treated. For me to have to write this review says a lot, I rarely complain, I served with HM Forces for this country, I certainly didn't deserve to be tossed to one side like garbage.

Sorry to hear of your problems.. unfortunately the motorrad sales team for motorcycles at Ocean is no better , I have had a very similar experience with them
I have been a proud owner of many BMW cars over the years of driving. And I got to say after visiting Ocean BMW in Falmouth on 23rd January. I am appalled at the level of service and ownership of mistakes Ocen have made with my car. I originally called and booked the service early January. I was offered a £39.99 winter safely check which would include checking of the timing chain. On arrival at Ocean 8.45am Wednesday 23rd January I asked for Monty on check-in. When going through the details of the service that had been booked! I was told the wrong service had been booked for what needed to be done!! I agreed for them to do what needed to be done and was told this would take just a few hours and went into Falmouth for a wanda and had breakfast. On my return at 11am, my car was given a clean bill of health with the option just to change one of the tensioners for the timing chain, so i gave the go-ahead to do the job! I waited till gone 5pm and followed up with Monty! After waiting a further 45 mins i finally caught up with Monty! And was informed my engine was no longer drivable of which i was shocked by! I was provided a courtesy car. 4 days later i received a call from Monty saying i needed an engine rebuild and would cost in the region of 5-6k to rebuild! As the problem was caused by Ocean. I hoped they would put there hands up and apologise and just get the job done!! But no. Conversations have continued back and forth 12th February. To get my car back i agreed to pay £1000!! On arrival the paper work was handed over by Andy!! Honestly, he just spoke complete and utter Bull×××× I wish i could attach photos of the way my car was handed over!! I'm very proud car owner and always keep it clean inside and out!!! So i was appalled when Andy had run over the car quickly with a hose!! The car was wet, there was bird splatters all over the car! The inside smelled if a mechanic had lived in the car for the last few weeks and the engine bay hadn't even been cleaned out!!! Grease marks everywhere broken parts missing OBD cover and a catalog of errors along the way!! This is not the standard or level of service expected from BMW.
