Customer service beyond a joke - absolutely hopeless. Brand new car developed fault - even though in warranty period won’t provide courtesy car - constantly told works will be done tomorrow but they keep pushing back. Waited two weeks (so far). The part came last week but now another delay as they don’t have the required tool to fit the part - trying to source the tool - told will be another 5 days! 🤷♂️🙄 Go to Westerley In Exeter instead of in South West
Twice had service appointment cancelled for crazy reasons. Today was cancelled on the day after waiting a month because they can't get the parts?! A main BMW dealer can't get parts for a modern BMW, ok..
Seen a BMW 730d X drive advertised at Ocean Torbay. Spoke to Trevor and Steve who was very helpful and sent a full video of the car. They offered me a very good deal on my trade in. Traveled down from Newcastle, the car was as described and pesented in immaculate showroom condition. Both Trevor and Steve made the change over a pleasure to do business with them and despite the distance would not hesitate to use them in the future. Many Thanks Michael.
I dealt with sales executive Dave who could not have been more efficient and despite Covid restrictions went into their showrooms and spent lots of time making a video of the motorbike i had intended buying. He answered all my difficult questions over the following days and answered them accurately and helpfully. Even though my circumstances changed and I ended up not buying the bike from Dave he could not have been more helpful and continued to assist. I would thoroughly recommend buying from Dave as he has great attention to detail, courteous and knows his product well. Dave really goes the extra mile. Rgds and thank you to Ocean Torbay BMW andy

Happy to sale you a vehicle but If you experience any problems while under warranty they don’t seem to note them, and won’t fix them until the warranties out!! Never use them again!!

I bought my first all electric i3 for my wife a couple of months ago from Ocean in Paignton Not a good experience, I travelled from Malvern near Worcester to Paignton to pay for and collect the car, the sales guy who I dealt with didn’t even tell me he wouldn’t be there to hand over the car even though he made the appointment with me. The hand over was poor considering it was the first time I had even sat in an i3, I was told very little about the cars operation and charging I was promised all software updates for the car would be done they weren’t. Since paying and collecting the car I have not received so much as a single courtesy email or phone call to see if we are happy with the car. Not a good buying experience and when we replace it in the new year we will Not Be contacting Ocean. The car is fine but the service is Not up to BMW standard and how they keep their franchise I have no idea. Disappointed Michael

slow service counter at ocean bmw torbay put you in a drinks corner then forget about you,free wash and vac,which is good,but not if they forget to do it I live in Paignton but I will use Westerly Exeter.

shocking service at Ocean BMW Torbay, salesman has now lied to us and reneged on his promise made re free service at point of sale. The pick up date was cancelled and then delayed as they presented the car in really bad state with scratches all over it and a cracked windscreen (not like this when we signed the contract.) They then took over a week to repair this and the whole experience was sub standard. I am now having to chase them daily for answers to the broken promise and still no resolution on the service that was supposed to have been done at point of sale. I have now escalated this to BMW UK. I would avoid this dealership and go somewhere else.

Just been let down by Ocean Mini Torquay with my sons Christmas present. Booked car in October for spot lights to be fitted on 21/12/18. Called the day before fitting to check all ok and told yes. Now today after having it all day been told they cant fit them until after Christmas Chap on the phone didn't seem bothered i've now let my son down. What makes it worse my son suffers from autism and has been looking forward to this for 3 months. It gets better.. just picked up mini from Ocean Mini Torbay the car had a major service over £500. Not only did they not reset the service info, they changed the brake fluid and let car go out with excessive pedal travel in a very unsafe condition. What a bunch of cowboys rushing work through. So disappointed and many levels
