Visited this outlet on a Friday, to view a BMW 7 Series. On arrival, I was handed the keys and told the car was round the side and help yourself? The car was boxed in, so no chance of moving it and no offer of assistance. I decided to go ahead with the purchase as long as it came with full MOT. This was agreed. Over the weekend I noticed the price had increased by £600?? On the Monday I went to collect the car and was asked for the balance based on the increased price. I pointed out the sales agreement was legally binding and poked this under the assistants nose along with a copy of the original ad. Nice try!!! Car had full MOT but on inspection both wishbones were knackered and a support rod at the back snapped in half???? MOT not worth the paper it was written on. Cost of repair..£175. Other than this the car drives beautifully.

Wanted to look at a car with a view to buying but could never get in contact. Tried e-mail, land line, mobile phone and even online booking for test drive. Most probably a lucky escape looking at other reviews for this company. If the company are this elusive prior to buying I can only imagine how shocking it would be after they'd had your money. this may be an acceptable way to run a business in another country but not here.

I am not an expert in car buying but I hate being taken for a ride. I bought a car in good faith. The owner was busy with another buyer but we liked the car on the website advert and what came with it. I should have heard alarm bells when I mentioned Air Con on my car and he thought it was on the new car. He said it was nothing to do with them what state the car's air con but we had traveled. over 70 miles to this place. There was no sat nav as advertised. To be fair, the car drove for the first two days like a dream and then it developed an engine fault. I tried ringing the company Saturday and Sunday but no answer. I wouldn't recommend this dealership if it was just down the road from us. I have not awarded any stars because that would mean I would have rated them. I can't rate them as they were awful.

Im so glad I read these reviews before making a trip to see a car I really liked. It was advertised on autotrader; a 2006 range rover sport in white. Apparently it has a KHAN body kit and some other extra's. The photos of the car did not indicate to me it had a khan body kit, but it looked nice. What i was more surprised about was the fact the inside of the car pictures were obviously from a 2010 model. I asked him had he got the photos muddled up and he said no. The photos of the car was the one he had in his possession. I said that I have been looking for a RRS for some time and am well aware that the inside facelift is only on 59reg+ cars. He said the car had been upgraded. I asked did it have receipts for upgrades. No he said. Literally just no. i have never ever seen an upgraded inside on a RRS sport. I don’t even think its possible after a bit of research. I became suspicious and after reading these reviews that confirmed exactly my suspicious, will not be going to look at it.

Fantastic quick service from this car dealer,my partner brought a BMW 330 and Is over the moon with it. We found Nick very polite and answered all our questions about the vehicle. Also Nick sold my own car for me on his forecourt a Mercedes clk 320 within 2 days. Can't be happier and would recommend to friends and family!!

Just returned home from a wasted afternoon going to visit a Range Rover Sport at the Old Welwyn Motor Company Ltd. Dreadful attitude on the telephone when I asked what he could tell me about the car as the Autotrader write up was too short. When I asked him he said,"well, what does it say on there?" and almost every word with uttered with a really couldn't care less and stop taking up my time tone. The car was in poor condition and he wasn't open to reasonable offers and even had the cheek to ask for £15 for a test drive!. He also lied when asked how long it had been for sale by my partner saying it had been on there for 2 weeks when I know its been more like three times that. Never ever again. Dreadful service.

Visited this dealer on a Saturday morning with £10,000 to spend on a new car. When we arrived at the dealership there were no prices on any of the cars and couldn't find anyone to ask. Eventually after about twenty minutes we tracked someone down to be told that viewing was by appointment only and that we had to check online for prices or alternatively write down the reg numbers of the cars that we were interested in, take them into his office and he would find out the prices. This company is extremely unprofessional and make you feel as though you are putting them out. Told him to forget it and instead went to AZ Autos in Graveley who's sales staff were extremely accommodating and drove away with a new car the same day. Do NOT go to Old Welwyn Motor Company to purchase a car they are the most unprofessional company I have ever had to deal with. Be Warned.
