Owestry used Car Centre were rude and wont admit to selling nails, all the cars there have sat for years.. they cost me ££££’s in repairs for the car i bought from them, and thats in the first couple months of ownership. They sell nightmares..

When looking for a used 7 seater it's quite common to find very few in independent dealers. The first impressive thing at the Owestry Used Car Centre was the range, we had a choice of 4. The next nice thing was that there was no pushy pressure at all, simply answering questions and going the extra mile to find details e.g. towing weights. We ended up choosing a 2011 Seat Alhambra. Within a week of purchase we has some issues, including a worrying one with the AdBlue system. I took the car back not knowing what to expect and I couldn't have asked for a more helpful service. They lent me a car and took the new vehicle to a Seat dealer to have the problem resolved at their expense. I totally trust them and would use them again without hesitation. I believe the dealer has recently changed hands and the older reviews sound very different to the service I received.

Having read the reviews about Owestry used Car Centre I was a bit skeptical about buying a car as you would be, BUT we need't have worried. The service we received was excellent and very relaxed. We had a couple of cars in mind and finally chose the car that most suited our needs without being pressured. All I can say is that sometimes the people that leave negative feedback ARE the issue and not the place itself. Very happy, Relieved and Pleased.

We were sold a car, I admit it was sold as seen, but they did not inform myself or my parents as to issues the car had. Also it was sold without Mot, Have had continued issues with power loss. Mostly resolved by taking to a trusted garage.

Needed to upgrade my partners car so on our way to the “usual” place we’ve been before we noticed this new company: Well the person knew nothing about any of the cars we asked about ! Another lady was pushing us for finance when we’d no intention of even buying no matter using finance! The majority of the cars had one form of scratch or dent, looked dirty and in all the whole operation was extremely unprofessional. But it did give our usual purchase place a laugh when we told them, there answer was simple “that place doesn’t sell cars,it sells nightmares”

Only given 2 stars as the lady promised me a service and not in July when I bought the car, the mot ran out last week and it failed on 12 things which cost me over 1000 pounds. But they did manage to get me finance I think they lied a little so make sure you're aware of that.

Owestry used car centre sold me car that failed the mot, the car already had 5 months left of mot on it, but when I asked for a fresh mot he said that there was no need to do only after I signed the car did they do a mot, and when the car was mot it failed also the car was promised a valet and fuel neither were done, I was also given 6 months warranty on my car which is good only for it not to cover the snapped cable on the bonnet Latch which was a problem shown in the service sheet I was given after I had signed for the car Very dodge be aware!!!!!

Bought a car off Oswestry Used Car Centre only for it to breakdown. Given a 15 year old car to use for work and that broke down. Eventually after weeks I got my car back only for the wheel to nearly fall off. Be very wary of them
