I bought a audi tt from here a month ago. I love this car . It so lovely to drive. My experience with Owen express motors has been great so far . When i first went to the garage it was a Sunday and they had closed. I emailed them and an hour later the owner had come in for me . As I traveled from wales to see the car. To start with i was abit apprehensive because it was a 11 years old car . But for its age was in pretty good condition. So i went for it . Everything was pretty much done in a day and the owner even drove to wales to drop it at my door . Which was great. After the first day of driving i did have an issue with the window it got stuck open so i took it into my local garage and the owen sorted it out with the warranty company so I didn’t have to pay a penny . Overall a nice and easy transaction. And so far i have had good customer service. Thanks

Bought a 3 series BMW marked as 3200 from Owens last April 2017. On test drive I noticed it had an oil leak from engine so pointed out and agreed the sale on the caveat that the oil leak was repaired this was written on the receipt. A couple of days later I received a call to say the oil leak had been repaired. After a month or two I could still smell oil burning on the engine when I checked my oil the level had dropped dramatically again so I rang Owens and they arranged to get car looked at and rectify the issue. The car has been in a total of 5 times over the last 12 months with the same oil leak on each occasion we were told it was fixed when in fact it was not. The last visit to rectify oil leak the garage has told Owens to be 100% sure it traced and fixed would cost them £1200 which there not prepared to pay, Ownes have promises time after time to replace like for like but never comes through, we were offered A gas conversion Volvo but we did not like the car nor want possible more issues. For the most part Owens have been fair up until this point but now we have had enough and have been let down too many times, my driveway is destroyed off the oil leaking onto the drive, about three week ago we handed car back with the ultimatum the we want a refund or like for like replacement Ownes have done nothing. Every time we contact owens, he is never there or he fobs you off saying he will sort it by xx day and never does never returns calls. Been to see him today 28-04-2018 assured me be resolved by end of next week. I get the impression he is not bothered in the slightest told him about review his answer was can’t please everyone

Just to add to this review he has since sold the same car on again to a another dealer ? He never sent log book off and now I have over £1000 fines from unpaid tolls parking etc..... 26/05/2018 and still no refund go elsewhere.

Get straight onto trading standards and go to a small claims court .. reviews on facebook and google !
Owens motors did me a great deal on a car I bought. The service was fair and I would buy again from them. All their cars come with warranty and I would recommend them to anybody.

This is an honest statement regarding Owens express motors, I made a card payment deposit on a vehicle which I found out was a manual car, I immediately phoned back told them the error and was assured the money would be returned, and it wasn’t a problem, a week later no money returned, spoke to a guy who just fobbed me off with excuses, oh the boss is out I’ll get him to ring you back, oh he’s in a meeting ring back in an hour only to be told he’s gone home, sent 2 emails and no reply, then spoke to a guy and immediately asked who he was, he said he was the boss but sounded just like the guy who I had previously been speaking to, he informed me that his wife took care of the finances and he would inform her to return the money that day , 4 days later no money, I’m now using the banks charge back system, to rightfully have my money returned, with my experience I would insist anyone thinking of dealing with this car sales lot is one of exercise with great care and don’t believe anything your told, read other reviews this is not a 5/5 dealer.

I have emailed my details not once but twice you have all relevant information to issue me a refund , I phoned several to be messed about with that in mind you have no intention of refunding me you have made this quite clear, check your emails and respond to me if you want to resolve this issue

I spoke to Leon at Owen Express Motors about a particular car I had in mind. Initially came across as very nice and would get me what I wanted no problem. Didn't hear anything after a couple of weeks so got back in touch, was promised not to worry he would sort it for me. I didn't hear anything from him and eventually got one myself from Autotrader. ....I understand they cant always get what you want, but a little courtesy of letting me know would of been appreciated....I get the impression that unless you are after a high spec car, they're not interested.
