AVOID AVOID BEWARE BEWARE they are cowboys! IGNORE all positive reviews they are most likely fake. LISTEN to the one star reviews that state the truth. It’s funny how we have all had the same experience with this business!! Bought a vehicle and immediately had issues with it from the moment we drove away. They couldn’t fix it didn’t know what was wrong with it, 15 month warranty means nothing as they are completely clueless. After taking the vehicle to a reputable garage it’s clear the issues were not new, NO IDEA HOW IT PASSED AN MOT. They have an on-site garage so they can mess around with the vehicles before selling them, most cars sold here are most likely Cats / write offs / scrap. The vehicle we bought was riddled with non genuine parts which were an accident waiting to happen. SEE OTHER REVIEWS THAT SAY THE SAME THING. People could have been killed because they are selling cars that are not road safe. Trading standards have been notified. Please do not waste your hard earned money here. We have lost 10 grand of our savings and they don’t care. Refused a refund also. FRAUDSTERS.

Bought a car from Owens of Bilston in 2017 & had problems with it within a week. Engine management light came on every time I started the engine. Took it back to garage & they told me the problem was a dirty exhaust sensor, they said they had cleaned it & I collected the car. The engine management light came on again within 2 days, so i took it back with the same result as before, engine management light came on. I should have rejected the car & got my money back there and then. Owens mechanic wasn't fixing the problem, he was just turning the engine management light off! Car was a nail & I feel I was fobbed off by the garage. When the MOT was due my (very experienced & 100% trustworthy) mechanic said the rear brakes were seized, it needed new discs & calipers, cost £450. My mechanic said the brakes must have been like that for well over a year judging from the state of them. My mechanic advised me to get rid of the car as it could turn into a money pit. Oil pressure warning started coming on regularly & would have cost £550+ to fix but I managed to part-ex the car for a new car from a franchise dealer. One of the most frustrating parts of dealing with Owens was chasing them all the time to find out what was going on, once I'd bought the car they just weren't interested. It seems that if they can fix a problem quickly they'll have a go or do enough just so the customer drives away. I wouldn't buy from this dealer again and I wouldn't recommend them either.
