Bought a 1999 Alfa GTV with the 3 litre V6 engine. Very shiny bodywork as you might expec. Suspiciously so tbh. Various, though not all, minor defects were put right by the dealer but no mention at all was ever made of the shocking state of the suspension. It urgently needed new springs and shocks all round. Indeed, the need is so urgent that i am curious how the car was presented to me a brand new MoT. I am pursuing that separately since I suspect it may not be all it that it should. I am in touch with DVSA on the subject. Pleasant enough on the surface. But would I trust them again? no. Definitely not. And regarding the dealers apparent outrage at comments by people who do not leave their name or address or contact details, two points: 1) the site does not ask for these detail, 2) GDPR regulations make it illegal to do so without express permission, and 2) if he keeps records of who he sells to he can look up the details of theperson invlved. Much better than putting personal names and contact details on a publc forum for the world and his wife to see for evermore.

Don’t buy of this man beware he is horrible man. He will let you think he is lovely but not the case. Bought car and it had no end of major faults when contacted he was horrible and did not want to know anything about it. Beware. I wish anyone luck who attempts to get their money back with success. Not worth the bother for me too much threats.
You read these reviews & then you drive to look at a car thinking "why am I doing this?", some of these reviews are so confusing you think you'll meet the car dealer monster !!. The total opposite, the guys at Oxford Autosports is an absolute gentleman to deal with no issues whatsoever & the car has been a total dream. I quizzed Arran if anything went wrong what would happen & he was totally straight with me, we drove away same day in the car we wanted smiling. Top man deserves far more credit than is suggested.

We brought a Audi A4 off Aran at Oxford Autosports in November it has engine faults and damaged body work. He wouldn’t refund our Money and was very abusive. Please listen to reviews and don’t use him
Sold a car by Oxford Autosports that's not fit for purpose and. Won't refund money back for the car. It's got so many problems with it. The owner is rude and he won't be helpful if the car is dodgy. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Hi,we sold this customer a 16 year old bmw with 150,000 miles on stunning example,728 individual sport very rare model, the sat-nav unit was faulty so we provided a brand new one in the box ,which us and the customer agreed he would fit,he then after 24 hours said it was to much work and he could not fit himself,he asked us to pay for the fitting which was not the agreement at point of sale,so we explained this to which he got a solicitor to ring us and threaten us with a court hearing if we did not take the vehicle back and give him a full refund as the car is not fit for purpose,This is called bullying,we rang uk trading standards and explained ,they advised us if this was pointed out at purchase we do not have to refund,we did nothing wrong,we then had the police visit us about this customers car about drug offences, they searched his car and took evidence from it,they found cannabis residue in the vehicle, and are now looking to charge him with drug offences. He at point of purchase took his baby on board sign from the back window and explained he used his car for taking the children to nursery, probably not the best thing to do whilst smoking cannabis. So i would kindly ask if this slander and liable be removed?
ARAN JAYCOCK from Oxford Autosports in response to Sold a faulty car
Hi we at oxford autosports pride ourselves in stunning vehicles, thisn person does not leave a name or which car they purchased ( if any) Its obviously not a happy person, but if we knew who they were we could resolve any problems at all,we deem this as a fake review by a jealous person.

Just looked back to march, this is a person who purchased a bmw 7 series from us 2001 covered 150,000 miles, the part exchange the customer gave us got inspected by the police as the customer was a known drug dealer, then we were questioned by social services who needed information about the state of his car internally as with his children in the car he was smoking drugs in it,he asked for a refund as the satellite navigation unit(brand new in the box) he says was faulty,we explained at the point of sale it was not fitted and he needed to fit,he then after purchase because of his postcode could not afford his insurance,he then tried to get a refund on the vehicle saying because the sat nav unit did not work(brand new unit in box).We declined as the vehicle was fit for purpose, you cannot just change your mind after purchase i am afraid.
'We purchased an Audi A6 Allroad from Oxford Autosports at a very reasonable price. The car is in excellent condition as indicated in the original advertisement. Aran dealt with the transaction and could not have been more informative and helpful. Since then we have driven the car some 1500 miles and it has performed perfectly. We have been delighted with the service we received from Oxford Autosports Ltd and would have no hesitation in recommending this company and indeed making any future purchase with them. A five star service in every way.'
Keeping it short. A member of staff came across as very big headed and kept mentioning he makes loads of money which was really annoying me. He made inappropriate comments and wasn't very professional. He didn't know what he was talking about with the car and tried to blag it. Sold me a car with a number of faults on it. Warranty is only offered at a cost but didn't cover anything worthwhile to warrant taking the cover.

If we do not know who you are,we cannot give a reply to your review,if the salesman was arrogant and rude,it was probably in response to an arrogant or rude question, all staff are polite but will not tollerate bad behaviour on our site im afraid.
ARAN JAYCOCK from Oxford Autosports in response to Buyer
Why do people leave reviews with no contact name and which car they purchased? There is a reason for that ,they did not even purchase a vehicle.
ARAN JAYCOCK from Oxford Autosports in response to Buyer
This would be the customer who viewed a TVR he told us he basically had nothing better to do,so we declined him a test drive,he then got annoyed so we told him to go!!!! There all out there!

Car purchased was Audi A4 Avant, Did NOT look at any other car at this garage. Avoid this dealer
Buying from this seller is a case of buy at your own risk as if you find a problem when you get home it's your problem and will get no offer of fixing it. The actual purchase was quite a pleasant experience and the seller seems quite knowledgeable and they have Some very nice cars. I would recommend to anyone buying from these that you have an independent check done or take a mechanic allong as once you buy it is your problem. I don't want to put anyone off buying from Oxford auto sports as they have nice cars at a reasonable cost but just know what you are buying .

I have no idea who this person is,we at oxford autosports supply full warranties on all our vehicles,we very occasionally sell our part exchanges as trade sale vehicles, which is clearly stated at point of sale
I bought a Mini Cooper from this dealer just this morning, and was very happy with the quality of the service. Aran is very friendly and helpful, and even came to pick me up so I didn't have to work out what to do with my own car. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to friends and family.
I purchased a stunning BMW 3 2011 from Oxford Autosports. Aran is very polite and hard working in his attention to detail I every aspect of the purchase a pleasure to deal with all in all a great experience.
Hello, after buying a car from Oxford Autosports LTD this is my honest, unbiased review. In February 2015 I purchased a vehicle in a trade sale. I took my car for part ex and was offered slightly less than the going rate but the deal given for the vehicle I was looking at was more than reasonable and I was happy to do this. I was very impressed by Aran and how welcoming he was, we were left alone to inspect the car without hassle and given ample time to think our purchase through. After the test drive and talking through figures I was happy to go ahead with the sale and left a happy customer. I had an hour and a half drive to get home and enjoyed the car and other than a few rattles and smells which I put down to it being a new car and me having to get used to it arrived home happy with my new car. 3 weeks later I was in Portsmouth for a training course and took the vehicle to have a service (it had an LPG modification). Within an hour of getting back I received a phone call from the mechanic telling me he found a few problems with the car. In short, the review from the mechanic was this: LPG fuel leak Petrol fuel leak Air leak Rear brake disks and pads needing replacing In his professional opinion the car was unsuitable to be used on a public highway and as such, would have left me uninsured if I was in an accident. He took the brake pads to a colleague who does MOT testing and showed him the brakes and in his professional opinion the car should NOT of passed an MOT which was done within the last 1000 miles. In my haste and to my own personal error I told the mechanic to begin works to fix the problems and make the car road worthy. In hindsight I should have contacted Aran at Oxford Autosports LTD and told him of the problems. After getting the car back from the mechanic and paying the bills I emailed Aran twice on his website email address over a few days and didn’t receive a reply. I then called him and left a message to which he replied within the hour which I was very happy about. He said that because it was a ‘trade sale’ and ‘sold as seen’ that I was not covered by any warranty and that I couldn’t expect anything back from him. He went on to saying that Range Rovers are unreliable and that’s why he does not stock them (although he had two other Range Rovers advertised on his site the same week). After being in contact with Citizens Advice they advised me to send a complaint letter followed by a letter before action if nothing happens. This was as the car was unfit for purpose and did not last for a reasonable amount of time. After sending the first letter I received a voice mail from Aran saying that my complaint had been ‘thrown in the bin’ and that he would see me in court over the issue. He stated that if I did not stop sending letters then he would begin proceedings with charging me with harassment. He then delicately ended the voice mail by calling me a derogatory name before hanging up. After getting this voice mail I sent the letter before action again with a copy of the statement from the mechanic with his review of the car. After getting a hand written letter through sent first class where he again refused to issue any reimbursement for the money I had to spend to get the car to a road worthy condition I decided that the hassle of going further to it outweighed the money I would get back from it. So what have I taken away from this? I now have a much better overview of the steps to go through after buying a car and finding a problem with it, call the person who sold you the car as soon as you can! I can also strongly suggest getting an AA inspection of any car before you part with your cash as they can easily come back to bite you in the backside if you’re unlucky. As I said at the start of this review, this is my own personal review on one car which Aran has sold. I can’t say or speak of anyone else who has brought a car and can strongly say that I hope nobody else has a problem with Aran, but in my experience it has put me off from buying from an independent car dealer and will from now on ONLY be buying from a franchised main dealer.

The above customer did purchase a car which we reduced from £15,995 to £11,750 as it had faults which we notified at point of sale. We notified Trading Standards who told us we are correct in our sale. This customer constantly rang every 5 minutes to try to annoy us, he also said that when we sold him the car it was advertised as 1 previous keeper, which it was, he then put the car in his name and complained when he got the log book back that it now clearly stated it had 2 previous keepers? I explained as he had now added himself as s keeper the previous keepers would go up? Now he didn't tell you that did he! I hope this explains the type of person he is to which we explained to him we at Oxford Autosports treat people as they treat us, we play fair and abide by UK trading standards laws and are a limited company for 9 years and trading for 24 years, why do people who are happy with there purchase never write reviews? And why are there only forums to write bad reviews? We have sold thousands of cars to many happy customers but the previous comment posted he said he would not by a car from us, he has never contacted us at all yet is allowed to post a comment.
