Went to look for a Used car as we have had our current vehicle for some considerable time . We were left to browse for a short while on our own and then a salesperson came out to assist us . We soon sorted out roughly what we wanted and we’re soon pointed to several vehicles which we thought would be suitable. Rob McDonald our salesman acquired the keys and left us to have a sit and look around our prospective purchases. We made our decision after much considering and of course a test drive . The car was just what we were looking for , the whole experience was excellent from start to finish would recommend the garage and the salesman.
we passed by on april 21st as we needed to replace our second merc which we recently disposed of.neil hastings showed us a C class saloon and we were interested in buying this demo model as new cars seem to be hard to get quickly.He made an appointment for April 28 for him to come by but he cancelled due to a funeral and a new appointment was made for may 5.however he rang on the day to say he had a client insurance problem and would come back to us later in the day,which he did not do.we have heard nothing since.We have run two mercs for 30 odd years and we have had very good attention on the servicing side,no complaints there.we have had no previous problems with sales. we have now decided not to replace our second merc

Phoned ahead to check parts availability. Arrived at reception and directed to an empty desk with a bell. Rang the bell 4 times in 16 minutes without recognition. Several employees walked past without acknowledgement. Had to go back to Reception to prompt a phone call by a flustered receptionist for service, 5 minutes later by an employee who had previously walked past. All in all 29 minutes for a 5 minute job. I won’t be back or recommend to friends. M of Wantage.

Every time we took the car for service a new fault will appear not longer than two weeks. They fix something and break somethingelse. Worse management and servicing team.

... their process seems to be book a car in for an issue and charge you the max for what could be a simple fuse replacement ... no customer values
I bought a 2019 c class. On receipt of the car, it had 2 faults, including faulty electrics and a missing piece of the boot! Do not buy from this dealership.

We reserved a car to then be told it was sold yesterday, however after speaking to our local Mercedes today to get a straight answer we then found out it didn’t sell till today after we made the reservation. I don’t think they could be bothered to wait for us to visit later that same day, a sale obviously comes before any customer service policy

I purchased a £48,000 S class Mercedes from Inchcape Oxford in April 2019 When I went to collect the car it was not ready ,with a number of faults and missing equipment - I need to catch a ferry and agreed with the sales staff that the missing equipment would be sent to me and that the defects would be repaired by my local Mercedes agent -and that I Inchcape Oxford would repay me for my expenses I duly got the repairs done and paid for them in June 2019 and since then I have been requesting repayment at least twice a month without any satisfaction -It seems once Inchcape have your money they are no longer interested in customer service My advise to any one thinking of purchasing a car from Inchcape Oxford is to think again

Communication, or rather the lack of, seems to be a big issue at Inchcape Mercedes of Oxford for us and others, from reading other reviews. We bought a brand new car which has had a recurring management system error ever since we bought it but their diagnostic systems are not sufficient to pick them up. They eventually agreed to do some work which the Service Manager said will have fixed the problem but then he won't provide us with a report telling us what they have done. In addition, the problem is still occurring and we now have another issue created, since they carried out the work, but no one wants to speak to us about it. Having emailed the Service Manager and Engineer as well as called him, and left messages with colleagues who promise to pass it on and even tell me that the Engineer is sitting next to them, numerous times no one is getting back to us. Like others have said, it seems that once you have bought the car they have no interest in anything that doesn't create money for them. Poor customer service that I didn't expect from a company like Mercedes
