Looking to buy a car after mine was stolen & found the ideal car at a reasonable price. Easy people to deal with & no pressure. Would highly recommend Parkhills to anyone.

Bought a car from Parkhills just before Xmas and they went out of their way to deliver it to Liverpool a couple of days before Xmas. Great service, I highly recommend them!

From start to finish Parkhills have been superb. I dealt with Paul Tomlinson who was so helpful and informative. He was not pushy and very friendly. The service he gave me over me buying a car and selling my car was 100% spot on. I would return to buy another car from Parkhills and will be recommending to my friends.

Uncomplicated sale here..Dave was good and answered all questions and queries .. bought a 10yr old Peugeot 207 and so far it’s still running...after 2 weeks of driving it..
First Class service from start to leaving the show room and beyond with my new car, No pressure, no Bull, just honest upfront information by Paul, and the confidence in the 128 AA check report you know your car has been properly assessed.

Purchased a Renault Clio from Parkhills, delt with Paul, no pressure sales. Given the keys and left alone to inspect the car in my own time. The car was well presented and drove well on the test drive. Over all a good car buying experience.

Hi Clive, Thank you for your review and Happy Motoring from the Parkhills Team.
Last month I saw a Renault Clio that I liked on Autotrader being sold by Parkhills. I met with Simon D and we went for a test drive and I liked the car. When I said I would like to drive away the car that day Simon said that wasn’t possible as the MOT was running out in less than a month, even though the ad stated SAME DAY DRIVE AWAY in capital letters and I wasn't told this over the phone. On Friday I collect the car. I go to Morrison’s and try to fill up but it just keeps spraying petrol back at me as if the tank is full. I drove to BP and the same thing happens. I go back to parkhills, Me and Simon then drive back to BP and he tries to fill up and the same thing is happening. He apologised and said he doesn’t know what is wrong then told me to pay for the petrol that wasn’t going into the tank. He said that I would be refunded for that charge and the other attempts. He apologised and said my options are that they would repair the car next week, reimburse my taxi fare home and deliver the car back to me or he could refund the car. Eventually someone found a nozzle which would fit on the petrol pump so we went back to the petrol station to fill up and it worked. The next day I take the car to a garage that my girlfriend has used and they fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes and didn’t charge me anything. Simon called back to say that would give me a courtesy car while they repair the tank (why didn't they offer that the first time) and I inform him it is already fixed. Week or so later I get a text message from Parkhill saying that the car is due for an MOT in 7 days and that I should call to book it in. I check on the Gov website and it is showing that the car is due its MOT. I phone Parkhill and speak with Simon who says that he took the car to the garage himself so the MOT has definitely been done. I get a voicemail later saying that the car hasn’t been MOT tested and that I can bring the car in and they’ll test it for me. I spoke with Simon over the phone and explained that I don’t have time to bring the car over to Bury, so someone either collect the car from me while I’m at work and bring it back as it was there error or could I get the MOT done somewhere closer to where I am. The manager Paul calls back and offered me a free MOT next year if I bring the car to be MOTd. He eventually agreed to let me get the car MOT tested myself but he said I have to make sure the car MOT is between £25 to £30. After the call ends I booked the car in for an MOT with the garage that fixed the petrol pump issues. The MOT was £40 and I had to pay £37.64 to replace the window wipers in order to pass. I emailed Paul and the Managing Director, John my MOT receipt to claim back and also the receipts for the petrol that I was told would be reimbursed and explained this in the email. The £77.64 for the MOT and wipers were refunded but the request to refund the petrol (£1.16) was ignored. I was never sent a response to that final email I sent either… which was nearly a month ago. TLDR: Car was advertised as same day drive away but wasn’t because MOT was running out. They said they will MOT it. When I collected the car the petrol tank was damaged. I got it repaired free of charge myself. A week later I found out the car hadn’t been MOT tested so got it done myself and they reimbursed me. They did not reimburse me for the money I spent trying to fill up the damaged petrol tank.

100% honest review - My name should be called Rodney (the Plonker) because I went and purchased a car from Parkhills Car Centre despite the alarm bells, who offer nothing but empty promises. The car I bought was a rip-off! They saw a foreigner and thought she'd be easy to con! The car was missing nuts and bolts, and hadn't really passed the AA service accreditation (I think they just stamped the forms). I was told I could have a free service but heard nothing back when I asked about it (their word against mine? - proof is in the emails). These guys really are a bunch of Del Boys so find a reputable car sales company, definitely not this one! I was thinking of taking to them to a small claims court but I am now in another part of the country, but still deciding.

Hi Anna, Wow I have some serious issues to deal with here upon reading this. We do not have any details of who you are and what you have bought and are not aware of any ongoing complaints relating to this. I would appreciate you sending me an email personally to enable me to address this review as a matter of urgency. p.thompson@parkhillscarcentre.co.uk kind regards Paul Thompson.

Really you did not receive a single complaint? Sounds typical sales-man speech, if I were to contact you on the email provided, would you offer a partial refund (because your guys certainly did not fulfil their promises)?! I think not!
We have a fleet of cars & vans for our company and trust Parkhills to maintain the whole fleet. Friendly company to deal with who provide a great service. Couldn't recommend enough.
LANDROVER - Buyer Beware I purchased the above vehicle in January 2018 - despite the vehicle having an AA inspection (at the cost of £99) I picked up within 5 minutes of driving home a juddering from the rear- the car went back the next day for repairs. It was with them for approx. 2 weeks (with no courtesy car) and the issue was fixed. Within a few days of getting the car back I picked up on a loud whining noise - the vehicle was due back for further repairs as the stop start wasn’t working so I asked that they look at this issue also - to their credit they fixed the noise but were unable to fix the stop start - the car was with them for 3 weeks for which time I was given a Citroen C1. I agreed to take the car back and they offered a free service and MOT in recognition that the stop start would never work. 1 week later whilst the car gave up completely on the slip road of the M3. I then had to pay to have the car recovered myself as the AA could not fix it and at this point lost all confidence in the car and as you could imagine wanted to hand the car back (I had only had it 2 months and it had been in the garage more than I had the car! At this point we could have parted as friends - all I wanted was my money back and this is where it got difficult. Eventually parkhills agreed to take the car back but would not pay back the money I paid instead offering £650 less due to the use I had! ( this is despite parkhills offering to take the car back and refund me one week earlier - I just trusted that the car was repaired and of good quality which is why I did not accept) Most of the miles I did were driving to and from Bury for repairs! The final kick in the teeth was to see that they have advertised the car at £600 more than I paid for it! It’s a shame as the staff I spoke to are brilliant, I just find I hard that I am the one who loses out financially as I have been paying for a car I haven’t had. This should tell you everything you need to know about how Parkhills views customers who have had nothing but issues with the car - I only asked for a fair outcome and my money back - if this had happened I would have still remained happy.
