Booked an appointment with Christopher Robinson to discuss finance on a future sale of new car for myself . Having walked through the doors I knew Christopher straight away as he had sent me a confirmation video email to introduce himself . From the first shake of hand he was very helpful made everything clear to myself about my finance and confidently I proceeded to look at a new car . Christopher worked everything out for me so that I felt comfortable with all the paperwork reassuring me through the process . Christopher is a great asset to parks and I will a hundred per cent have no problem in returning when I’m ready to look at another new car .
My partner has just brought a Captur from Parks in Ayr. While the Salesman knew all about the car and was really helpful, she could not fault him, there are a few things that I was not happy with (I paid for the car). When she went to pick the car up she was told she had to paid £20.00 for fuel. She didn't asked them to do this and felt she had no choice but to pay for it. Surely a tank of fuel, as a good will gesture, having paid near on £11,000 CASH for this motor is not breaking the bank. I might add she is extremely happy with the car

BEWARE!!!!! Purchased car from Parks Renault Ayr. Sales service great, although A/C wasn’t working on the day I picked it up. Took a week or two to sort this out ! Car has intermittently been flashing warning signs and the STEERING HAS BEEN LOCKING WHILST DRIVING !!! The car ignition has been RUNNING EVEN THOUGH THE KEY IS OUT OF THE IGNITION!!. I have no way to switch off the electrics- have no control of electric handbrake - Parks cannot find ANY fault - not a single one- cleared the error codes then said car is fine as they can’t get it to fault. Santander (ACE - their ‘independant’ assesors - look them up and read the reviews) state the same thing. They refuse to refund and unwind the finance agreement as they state the car is fit for purpose!!! I am going to DIE OR KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE if I continue to drive this car. They are forcing me to take further action and fight for my consumer rights as they can’t get the car to fault - they say they have been unable to recreate the errors. it is a sporadic issue. I SENT THEM VIDEO EVIDENCE!!! which I only managed to capture the THIRD TIME it happened. i have witnesses. I am disabled and rely on my car, I have been without a safe, fit for purpose vehicle since 13/1/23 when it was recovered for the SECOND TIME. I have been, and am forced to continue to pay the insurance and finance payments during all of this as it will affect my credit rating if I don’t. Parks want me to pick up the vehicle and drive it about the roads putting myself and every other road user at risk. I will try to upload the video. Be careful out there fellow drivers.

I looked into buying a vehicle from this dealership, the pricing was pretty competitive Of that particular vehicle compared to other dealers nearby. All was being done remotely over phone, this is where the problems started. I have never encountered such rude unprofessional staff ever, Simple questions like does the car have two keys where replied to with baffling rudeness as if it was a major hassle or inconvenience to answer them. Constant phone calls, emails, it actually got to the point the dealership was told I would not deal with their finance manager due to his rudeness and can’t honestly say the sales manager was any better. I contacted Arnold Clark instead, got a better deal and better car with a far better all round buying experience. I would not recommend Parks Ayr Renault to anyone.

My family were involved in a crash yesterday morning, the staff took my wife and I in to keep warm and gave us tea til the recovery truck came. What a nice thing to do!
Parks Renault in Ayr lie and try to con you by not giving you a part exchange price until near delivery. The model you want is always not available and after 2.5 hours of being told a director was going to do a great deal left with no salesman able to offer a price. Sales staff don't even know about the different spec on models of clios..
