I have recently bought a HRV from here out of desperation but I wouldn't if I had a choice. The service was shocking, the sales person didn't care at all and it was either Take it or leave it attitude. No interest in the customer at all. The Manager was good though although he wasn't responsible for my sales queries
Put this car in for a repair and they charged over £70.00 for a diagnostic. The repair cost £306 .and they also wanted to renew my brake pads Quoting over £400.00 DISGRACE One of the workers was very arrogant said to me well it was you that came to us. NEVER AGAIN

Hi all, a quick update. Stephen Da Silva who is General Manager at Parks Honda found out about my broken sunroof and took my case to Honda on my behalf and got Honda to provide a new sunroof and he ( Parks Honda )covered the cost of installation. My wife and l would like to thank Stephen for taking on our case.

My wife and l decided to but a car from parks of Hamilton, wish l had went to Ford, we were unaware that there was a small hairline crack in the sunroof, which steadily got worse, l luckily had taken a picture of the car on the forecourt when it had trade plates on it and the photo shows the rubber seal distorted where the crack appeared which means the sunroof was improperly installed, Parks deny that it was there when they sold us the car, even with the evidence so once they have your money all the nice customer service stops and they just don't want to know, we took out a service plan with Parks as they were doing a deal, so l called them to advise we were trading in the Honda to buy a Ford Edge, and they advised we might get some of our money back, this is outrageous as we haven't had the care serviced yet, so now they are going to steal our money. So buyers beware, once they have your money they are a totally different company.

Not a good experience, took car to garage for repairs they give me car back damage marks on two places. Parks Honda on Bothwell Road are taking no responsibility they could be gentlemen but they arent.
I hardly write reviews, but this bad experience made me feel I should. Bought a Civic here last year or so, which was supposedly "approved", which means that it was supposed to be checked over comprehensively by Honda trained technicians to ensure that there are no problems. That's certainly not the case, as there were a trail of problems with the car. A week after I bought the car, I noticed the rear shock absorbers were noisy, took it back to them and found that the rear shock absorbers need replacing, they replaced FOC. Then I noticed a nasty noise from the rear when turning, took it back, the customer advisor's attitude was rude, implying that I'm taking the car in for fun...I'm not. It's not fun driving 20 miles to the dealership to get the car checked, where I could do better things in my spare time. I'm not a fussy person, I only complain when I believe the safety of the car is compromised. The Honda technicians spent an hour on it, couldn't find a problem. Unconvinced, I took it to an Independant garage, they fixed it within 10 minutes - it was only a loose jack, but Honda couldn't find the problem. Further down the line, there was a noticeable noise from the front end when going over bumps and turning, steering felt loose and car leans when turning. The handling of the car is compromised, and can be considered dangerous if driven by an inexperienced driver. Turned out to be the front left top mount, spring and drop link. The car now jumps about on uneven roads, making it nervous when driving on uneven roads. It is down to faulty suspension parts, not due to the tyres, as they are new decent Goodyear ones. I know a thing or two about cars. It is obvious that the car was not checked properly before putting it up for sale, don't forget it was supposed to be "approved used", which is why some customers pay more to get the peace of mind, as they believe the car is checked comprehensively and is assured to be safe. This is certainly not the case, the car could also be considered as a death trap. I intended to keep the car for a good few years, however, after 18 months or so owning the car, I had enough, I am trading in the car for a new one. Taking in the costs of depreciation and the repairs, this has come to a great monetary loss to me. I would advise people to avoid this Parks Honda branch on Bothwell Road.
