For 4 months I’ve tried to have a problem fixed and the car has been seen 6 times by them. Had a grinding noise driver side wheel and tyre dash light on. They ‘filed a brake disc’ and the noise was still there so I took it back and they acted like I was telling porkies. Lo and behold, the dash light came on again and suddenly they found a problem. They ‘fixed this’ and the dash light came on again. I was at my wits end and contacted the manager Steven. 3 times after that it went in again, same issue. Long story short, I expressed I was worried if my brakes got replaced it wouldn’t fix the problem. They said I’d be reimbursed if it didn’t. I’m sitting with the car dash light on again and no refund funnily enough, and all the manager can say is in 4 years they haven’t lost a customer - cool, that’s great, thanks. 🤷♂️ Kia customer care team are just as nonchalant as the dealership. They don’t care. Wouldn’t touch either Parks or Kia with a barge pole.

My car was recently at Parks Coatbridge for an 'overheating engine' issue, which was resolved. However, when I was called to say that my car was ready to collect I was quite casually told that it now had another two warning lights showing on the dash (DPF almost full, and passenger airbag fault), which apparently came on while the technician was road testing my car. I suggested that as these were both defects that were not on the car when I handed it over, that I should have my car back in the condition (minus the original defect) that I gave it to them. I felt that the person who I spoke to from the service dept (Mathew) honestly couldn't have cared less whether my car was leaving the garage with two or twenty two new defects. They were definitely NOT going to sort it out. In his eyes they were not to blame for the new problems and that, in his view, was the end of the matter. I, on the other hand, am now faced with more garage bills to sort out the new problems which I firmly believe Parks created. I will most definitely not be returning my car to Parks Coatbridge,.. ever!! This was without a doubt the most disappointed I have been following a visit to a garage, and frankly, 'Mathew' could benefit from a lesson or two in customer relations.

Just a quick mention to Stephen Mallin of Parks Kia Coatbridge for great service and customer care on my recent purchase from Kia, unlike other dealerships in Coatbridge nothing was to much trouble, would definitely go back and also recommend them to my family and friends. Stewart Tippen
