Bought a citroen and foolishly assumed they'd MOT is before i got it, dispite the paperwork from the garage, mot valid till june 2021, i discovered when i tried to tax the car in may 2021 that they had never mot'd the car and it had in fact expired in august 2020. They tried to fob me off with 2 free mots and 2 services. Doesnt even start to cover the cost of an invalid insurance, and the fact i could have been stopped and fined by police. The service dept is a joke, they have made a boo boo of 3 folks mots etc from the same family, how many other folks car have they not mot'd etc. Will b going elsewhere for my next car. Ratings below are for service dept, not sales dept who are superb
Nicola dealt with us throughout the transaction and was an excellent example of how it should be done. Professional, prompt and knowledgeable about the car, terms and delivery. The mobility service can be confusing and a bit overwhelming for some but Nicola made it easy. Once again thank you Nicola you made a stressful situation much easier.

i took car to them because of battery kept draining not long after having its first service wih them, they had car for a week trying to find out what the problem was.finally after having to go back on 3 occasions with same problem they said it was the battery, they said they changed battery and it was all good, i went out to find my car in there joke of a car park only to find it was jammed up against a wall that a small child coudnt get in or out of,on further inspection of car both my doors paintwork had been damaged,i returned to reception and the manager came out to climb through passenger door to get car out of the car park,he apologised for the parking and the damage an said they would fix it,so i once again had to take car back to them when there painting department was available,4 days later i went to pick up car an was about to drive away one of the doors caught my eye the paint work was a mess, the reception girl went to see there painting dept who said it needed buffed and blending (some painters jargon) it was the light in there work shop was the reason they didnt notice it was there reason for such a shoddy job, finally i got car back and to be honest it wasnt great work but i was so fed up with them i just accepted it,3 months went bye when i started having battery problems again so itook it to my local garage run by a friend of mine who took car to a auto electrician who said it was the battery that was at fault and it want new..my friend replaced battery which cost i paid for at a good price and 6 months later iv had no problems,of course parks denied that the battery was not new so either the machanics are helping themself to parts from customers cars or they are lying,so the next time the service was due which is part of the 5yr sevice plan i took it to parks hamilton only to find on getting car back that the windshield washer cap was missing, but as only noticed this a month later when i went to fill it up i coudnt prove it was there fault, next service my local garage can do it so stick the 5yr plan

Bought a used dacia duster from here Johnny was most helpful in finding the right car for me great 5 star quality
Bought a car from Parks in East Kilbride some considerable time ago. They text regularly. Sent STOP message. Cost me £0.25. Not the money, it's the principle. Spent over 9k on the car (,which had been great), but he'll will freeze over before I deal with them again.
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD. You may see the car you have just bought all nice shining on the forecourt at Parks East Kilbride. BUT my advice to you check the mileage is correct, the service book is the right book for your car and any damage and if you have been told your car would be serviced check to see that it has been done. I made the mistake of not doing this , don`t believe all you are told CHECK IT OUT. JIM IRVINE

Caught Parks East Kilbride cutting Corners On a Full Service on my KIA, was Charging the leasing company for the Full Parts Fitted, But Only Done a Oil Change.
I purchased a used Vauxhall Astra GTC from the Parks East Kilbride branch and just 3 days later the tyre exploded on the motorway. When I called to report it to them they advised me it was "wear and tear" and it was nothing to do with them. Appalling customer service, it was lucky we didn't end up in a serious accident then it would have been a more serious claim! Then a couple of weeks later I could hear a high pitched noise coming from the back end of the car so I took it to a local garage to check out to be told the rear brake pads had seized and welded together and were literally just hanging on. I paid to have this fixed privatly given the severity of it. When I spoke to the garage to tell them of the further problems, they agreed to do a full health check on it. Which was carried out and nothing came back from it . Another few days had passed and yet another noise could be heard from the back end of the car, like a rattling/clunking noise. My confidence had completely gone in this car so I called the garage again and asked for our money back. They refused and told me it would need to go through trading standards etc. They're quick enough to take your money and sell you the car but as soon as something goes wrong its nothing to do with them. All in all, this car was not fit for purpose and certainly not road worthy.
Have dealt with Parks East Kilbride a few times through the Mobility scheme, and i have nothing good to say about this dealership. The telephone reception is awful, they never ring you back, staff can be rude, there administration is a joke, and finally the car valet service is a waste of time , if i was purchasing a car it would certainly not be from this mob.
Parks East Kilbride have caused me problems two years in a row and I will now never use them again. I recently had work done on my car elsewhere to replace a seat belt mount. I checked this mount quite literally the moment before I handed it over as I put the seats up and it was in perfect condition. I was shown a photo an hour later of a cracked unit and informed that the replacement bill would be £169. For a part that was in perfect working order at handover and which is available for less than £25 and which takes literally 5 mins to fit. I’m absolutely furious and am making a formal complaint which unfortunately I don’t have time for but absolutely must be done. Every time I have bought my car here I’ve had trouble. Every time my (male) partner has brought it, it has passed fine. It’s 2019 and this is totally unacceptable. Please avoid at all costs.
