Was going to have a look at their stock but 1st few reviews were enough to change my mind.
I have fault on my nearly 3 year old x trail. Car is counting down adblue and will shut down and not move once it hits zero. I have attempted to get the car into the garage to reset this alert to be told there’s no space for 5 weeks. I even went into the garage.i believe no other manufacturer can fix it. It’s not a big job just needs plugged in to reset. I explained I have 3 children and can’t just wait for the car to break down on me. I was told I just need to phone breakdown recovery when it happens and they can’t help me. On my 4 th Nissan but will never buy again due to this rude, incompetent service employee. Can’t wait to get rid
I will NEVER buy a car from here again!! After care was awful. Spoke to Norma on phone and did not care for her tone of voice. Issue with car battery after only having car just over 2 months. Car cutting out. Parks took it in for a service after I turned up at garage so I couldn’t be fobbed off with the several previous excuses on the phone. They checked battery and told me it only had 50% power, so they charged it. Which means I was sold a car with a rubbish battery, refused to replace it as no error code showing. Will be contacting trading standards
In a nutshell wont be going anywhere near to Park's showroom as have extremely horrible experience with them. I bought a car with 3 year service and warranty and started having problems from day 1. It was extremely difficult to get the car fixed and getting Nissan costumer service involved. I paid Nissan dealership price to avoid the same drama I am having right now. I was sold the car with a broken AC and I reported it the next day of purchase and asked them to fix it under warranty. They had my car in the workshop for whole day and got a call mid day to pay for the re-gas. I reminded them again of the warranty and they said they will look into this. When I got there to collect the car I was told that it was not fixed as it was not paid for. I will have to then complain Nissan costumer service and chase various people only then car was booked again and fixed finally At that point I hoped things will be easier and smoother from now own till the end of my 3 year warranty and guaranty period. I was so wrong. After almost an year I contacted them to book annual service and I was told that the courtesy car wont be provided during the service because of the condition it was returned back. When I asked what was wrong with it I was told that as it was long time ago there is a note left on it but they can't remember. When I complained I got an email from the manager "Norma Cook" stating; "In regards to the Air Conditioning repair on your car at no point did Parks Ayr refuse to carry out the repair" and "Our Loan Car was returned to us with a very strong odour and markings on seats, we were unable to give the car back out until the car was shampooed and completely valeted. This is why we are unable to provide a loan car to you" when I replied to her reminding her how many times I had to chase it and with how many people, her reply was; "Thank you for your response the contents of which I have noted" and "As previously offered we are happy to carry out the Service on a Saturday Morning for you or alternatively we have a branch in East Kilbride and Irvine that you can book into" I didn't take the courtesy car to a tip etc and such allegations about odour and markings are very insulting. I am stuck with them for three years and have to deal with awful costumer service during this time as paid upfront. Can't wait for this period to over and I won't be going anywhere near Park's showroom ever again

Bought a used car from here, car not right from moment we got it, was back in garage and they done work to it, chamged battery without even telling us beforehand 'as a goodwill gesture', this didn't fix problem, faukt codes atill there, the female manager Norma was extremely abrupt on the phone trying to dictate what was happening to me, not happening i'm afraid! Had to get trading standards involved, car back into garage and they took it to a vauxhall dealership, then told me after mumping her gums about how i'd have to pay for diagnostic test that this was another 'goodwill gesture', but this was the last 'goodwill gesture' they would do for us, i got the invoice / receipt from vauxhall and parks had added thus on to it about this being the last goodwill gesture, couple weeks passed and low and behold fault codes back on, this woman was a bully, or tried to be, i dont get bullied and she hated the fact i stood up to her and had done my homework and her word wasn't 'gospel'. Other staff we dealt with were fine and pleasant. No longer had the car and won't be near a Parks branch again.
Bought a Qashqai from Parks Nissan in Ayr earlier this year and the service has been second to none. The salesman couldn’t have been more helpful. Even let my dog in the boot to check that she could get in and out of the car easily. Would definitely recommend.
