This garage is by far the worst garage I have ever unfortunately purchased a car from. Paid the asking price and although car was good for first few days, within a week it was clear it had problems. Took it back several times only for it to spend weeks in the garage having “apparent” repairs. After the 5th time of the car completely breaking down I had lost faith in it ever working properly. After months of challenging conversations I eventually got SOME money back, however personal items were never returned. The car cost me £8500 so was not cheap! If you value your money, your transport and your sanity never use this garage.

Bought this car, paid full asking price, everything was good at the start. However car was recalled twice for repairs. On the second occasion, the car was left parked up, untouched for over three weeks! Was told the head gasket had gone. Only booked the car in for repairs at another garage when we complained as we had been told the car would be ready the week before. The loan car was in poor mechanical condition. Kept calling daily, appalling communication throughout! Ended up getting money back, very upsetting and was a complete waste of time! These are salesmen but have no mechanical knowledge so be careful what you buy!

I am extremely disappointed to read this review as we felt our rapport with you was very good. I would like to copy below our final response email regarding this vehicle for complete transparency. We do appreciate attempting repairs was taking longer than necessary but I must stress that "calling daily" does not speed up the process of any work being carried out. Having also worked in the Motor Trade for over 50 years, to say we have "no mechanical knowledge" is grossly incorrect. Paul Greasley Cars Ltd pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and satisfaction, this can be seen from our many five star reviews and I am sorry if you felt our services fell short of your expectations on this occasion. Our final response is copied below: "Dear Mrs [surname deleted] Firstly, may I apologise for your negative experience with our company, I realise it is frustrating to be without your car for a length of time, however, to repair the car correctly, rather than a quick fix repair that we were not prepared to do, it requires major engine work, which due to the workload of the majority of all specialist workshops at the present time, I was unable to book the car in until Monday 11th September, I realise this is a long time scale but unfortunately it is beyond our control. I have this morning refunded the full amount that you paid for the car and also notified DVLA that you are no longer the owner, you should in due course, get notification regarding this and road tax cancellation. With regard to the courtesy vehicle that we provided you with, upon the time you arrived to collect it, we were currently in the process of valeting this for you, unfortunately, due to your own time scale you were unable to wait until we had satisfactorily completed this. [The Salesman] had told me that you had experienced a shuddering with this vehicle at 50 miles an hour. I have personally road tested the vehicle and noted that the tyre inflation light was on and it appears one of the tyres has sustained a puncture, which is causing the shuddering, this again is unfortunate but had you notified us of this I would have gladly carried out an immediate repair and replaced the tyre. I am again sorry for all the inconvenience this has caused you but wish you well with your next purchase. Kind regards Paul Greasley"
Just bought a BMW from them and found Richard to be very helpful, the car was a good price and arrived spotless as they also delivered it to my address in Ipswich as I couldn't get to Leicester at the time. They also repaired a scratch on the bumper for me which was noticed just before delivery. Steve Tyrrell

We purchased a eos convertible 27/08/19 had several problems with the car straight away and even ignored the advice of our local garage to not keep it. They did fix several things on the car and I appreciated the work they did but now I'm regretting not listening to my garages advice. Boot won't open, fault on roof so won't open, leak on main drivers pillar, windows go up and down on their own, so frustrated as I now have a car sat on the drive under a cover that I'm paying a loan for and I can't even sell.

Many thanks to Rob and Paul and the spray guy/blue tooth guy (forgot names) couldn’t have all done enough to see that we were happy with our purchase. I would definitely buy another car from Paul Greasley Cars as cars and service was second to none, got a great car for a great price....p.s Rob isn’t allowed to retire he is too much of an asset, plus has good taste in biscuits.
I bought my Peugot 206 CC from Paul Greasley Cars recently. He took my old car as part exchange and I was really happy with the price of my new car. Excellent service and no problems with the new car.
I phoned Paul Greasley Cars, the car a Vauxhall 1.3 cdti was for sale arrived twenty mins later given the key and looking around it, the car salesman came over and said it was sold and said he never knew when he told me, the car had a bad oil leak anyway but it really is a waste of time when this happens, and a total lack of communication internally and it is hardly a large company, also another buyer turned up for the same car as we were looking, they never even acknowledged him.

John, We are sorry you missed the opportunity to purchase the Vauxhall Corsa & for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, within the space of the twenty minutes you have mentioned three people, including yourself, arrived to view the car at almost the same time. The fairest way for us to deal with this was to let the person who arrived first have the opportunity to buy it. The first person then took this opportunity and left a deposit. We then repaired the oil leak the following day and subsequently they collected the vehicle following this. I accept we are an independent company but not small as we do stock 80 vehicles on site and being a Sunday we, like most garages, have a reduced staffing level. We wish you well with your search for a new vehicle.
Paul Greasely Cars Ltd is the best car dealer I have known! When I bought a car from them, Paul reminded me to give him a feedback of the car and after two weeks I called Paul to give him a list of faults I had on the car, Paul asked me bring it back and when I brought it, he gave me another car to use while they were fixing my car, My car is perfectly fixed and i am a very happy customer. I recommend Paul Greasely to anybody who is looking for a car, Paul Greasely Cars Ltd is honest and best car dealer. The director and staff are great people., with wonderful customer service.
A few issues shown on MOT advisory. All faults were very quickly resolved, including the fitting of a a complete exhaust system by Mr Tyre. Thoroughly satisfied, and I would not only recommend Paul Greasley Cars to my friends, but it is most likely I will use them next time I need a replacement vehicle.
