Initially seen the car in Auto Trader. I live in Belfast and made preliminary inquiries by phone. I was told the car a 2008 Mercedes CClass had no issues except for a necessary re lacquering of the alloy wheels. The Salesman seems very sincere so on that basis I paid a deposit and arranged flights for my son and I to pick up the car. At the same time I organised ferry passage back to Belfast via Cairntryan. This being the case I relied heavily on an accurate and honest description. On initial inspection the car appeared to be straight but on closer inspection the wheels were a lot worse than stated. I also noticed two small dents on the bodywork and the rear brakes required disks and pads. I was told that the dents would cost his dealership £30 a pop to fix and the car had passed a recent MOT test so the brakes were fine as far as he was concerned. I was I n a bad situation having forked out in access of £300 for air tickets and ferry costs so I reluctantly accepted the car and paid in full . As we drove toward Scotland on the M6 north, my son noticed that his headrest pad was wobbling around.and it transpired that because of broken clips inside the assembly it needed to be replaced this is an expensive Mercecdes repair that I haven't been able to afford to fix. To date I have paid £250 for wheel refurbishment, £80 for dent removal and £180 for rear disks and pads all this on a car that was ment that to have only one small issue. I am frankly disgusted at the response that I've received from this dealer, he washed his hands of my request for at least some compensation. I left that showroom with a one month engine and gearbox only guarantee whisk is of course miserable. The irony of all this is the fact that the Salesman told me that he was a Christian. My advice is, if you choose to buy a car from this company, go into fine detail befor handing over your hard earned money.

You had very powerful rights and protection under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which you clearly were unaware of. EVERY Dealer is liable for a minimum of 6 months from the date of collection of the car. Never allow yourself to be fobbed off with a so called 1 month or 3 month g/t from the Dealer. Any dealer offering is in ADDITION to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Generally rude towards me. No help or information given. Tells you one thing and does another. They offered me a very low trade in offer.

Purchased a Ford Mondeo from Paul Hart Cars just over a month ago and the dealer agreed to replace two front tyres, as wear and tear was flagged up as an advisory on the previous owners MOT. After getting a puncture a few weeks later, I took the car to National Tyres, who stated that the two front tyres that had been supplied as part of the agreed sale were the wrong size for the vehicle and in poor condition. I phoned Paul Hart in Warrington and they stated they could not do anything as I did not have the original tyres (I was won holiday at the time and was not carrying the two suspect tyres home and then to Warrington). Despite having a receipt from National Tyres plus the phone number and name of the fitter, they did not offer any kind of compensation. I therefore feel that I have paid £150 more for the car than the figure that was agreed at the time.
Cant knock Paul Hart Cars at all had absolutely no problems from buying the car to driving the car everything was great
