Beware of second hand purchases. Please look at my and other negative reviews here and on Trust Pilot when buying a second hand car and the warranty is also not what you are promised verbally. Wow where do I start Daniel Smith is dishonest or at best misinformed. If you are buying a new car you should be fine fingers crossed however do not risk purchasing a second hand car. Several purchasers including myself have had slow responses, needing to chase several times to be told things are not covered by warranty. It took 2-3 weeks before management were involved and then they told me (although this was via Daniel) I have to drive down from London to their garage on site when I was reassured my warranty would allow me to use any VAT registered garage to rectify any issues I may experience with the car. Its a 3 year old vehicle for £15,000 paying exactly asking price and you would expect no issues but nope bad luck for me. You have been warned!

Be sure to have a repair fund if buying from here. Vehicle checks not carried out as claimed. Faults not rectified. Falsely stamped my service book saying they had done a main service but they hadn't. Head office take no responsibility. Go to Arthur Daly for a more honest deal.
Be careful if you’re VAT registered and trading in a vehicle. You pay plus VAT on a new van but your trade in value will be including VAT – unless you tell them you’re VAT registered. Sadly, I fell for this so was left selling my ‘asset’ including VAT so below what was agreed – I’ve not traded in a vehicle before – underhand sales tactics in my opinion. Perrys couldn’t send me the offer I made through the website for confirmation. The sales people didn’t want to know, or try and do the right thing so I took to head office who ‘investigated’ and said it wasn’t protocol to ask a business in they were VAT registered – come on Perrys you’re putting a vehicle in a LTD company name! Van was stolen 28 days later.

Brought my car in for a service and when I came to collect they told me what needs doing, so I ask is the car still functional enough to drive a mile home, and was told yes. Little did I know my car would start misfiring and cut out a few times while driving. And was told when I called up that it was the problems they said needed fixing, my point is that it was driving fine before I brought it there, zero accountability, which was dangerous for me.
Not greeted on arrival. Not offered a drink. The salesman had to be summoned as he did not greet us on arrival. The vehicle was not ready to test drive. He kept wondering off to talk to the manager. Would not let my husband come with me on the test drive..covid etc, yet the Perry's at Canterbury had no problem with this. His negotiating skills included the phrases "not in a million" and "used cars are going up in price". Well, got news for you...not in a million would I recommend this dealership.

Dropped my car off for service and mot at 10am rang at 5pm to find out of my car was ready for collection no reply i am a disabled customer and thought there recommendation for good service not this time see what tomorrow brings Mr Baxter
