Trying to help my elderly mother get a car. We saw one on the Peter Vardy Carstore internet site that was ideal.I phoned to make sure the car was there then drove 45 minutes via my mothers place to pick up her car to see what she would get as a trade in.I got there and eventually they found the car after me thinking ok ,here we go.Walking towards the car the salesman asked me ,you do know the car is a convertible.I replied "you are joking" !.The car was not advertised as a convertible and the pictures didn't show this either.They have completely wasted my time and would guess this is what you call false advertising.Make up your own mind general public.

Since buying the car I have had nothing but trouble with it. In & out of garages being fixed. Latest issue car immobilized with no master key given when I bought the car. I will never go back or recommend this dealership to Anyone!. Be Aware!

Went in to buy a used car and was made to feel at ease. Craig Gemmill helped me from start to finish, couldn’t get any nicer. I asked for him to send me a video of car to show relatives and he did it within half hour and emailed it to me. Went to pick car up today and had great after car care also. Would defo recommend them

My husband had put a deposit on a BMW which was being TRANSFERRED from Vardy BMW Edinburgh. FIRSTLY we were told that as the car was being collected from their approved BMW garage in Edinburgh that the BMW warranty would be nil and void and they tried to sell us the car store warranty???? Two days before the car was due to be collected from BMW Edinburgh, my husband received a text message on his mobile from Vardy informing him that a car he had been looking at had been reduced by over 2 grand! He went on to investigate which car had been reduced (as we had looked at so many) AND LOW AND BEHOLD.......IT WAS THE CAR WE HAD PUT A DEPOSIT ON!! We subsequently informed the salesman ( credit where credit is due was really good at his job and very knowledgeable about the specs of cars) that the car was reduced (which he had no knowledge of) To cut a long story short we had printed the pages from Vardy's website showing the price reduction (as we all know they have staff who troll the internet and price match- we had evidence of this car being priced matched with the same model in Arnold Clark) The car store in Hillington would not honour the advertised reduced price, even after consulting the General Manager. After this fiasco, I have found out that we are not the only potential customers to be conned in the same way. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING PETER VARDY!!!!!! Don't bother contacting the Motor Ombudsman to help with your Complaint as the Carstore Hillington is not a credited participant within this organisation ........................I WONDER WHY LOL. If you have any issues with the Carstore Hillington, I was advised to contact trading standards. If you want to be humiliated and conned THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!

Having highlighted a variety of issues to Peter Vardy Carstore which chris agreed to remedy my s class was booked in and matters were resolved i declined use of courtesy car which was offered my car looks up to the standard that an s class should look like even a used one since my first review aftersales guy martin was very supportive and attentive and all matters highlighted by me on a list were attended to i cant fault the service i recieved . I can understand other peoples perceptions and complaints and that i experienced the pleasure and initial excitement of driving away in a pride and joy knowing that the initial complaints hadnt been attended to and then having to drive back and forth to pv to have themsorted it shows the sales team in a bad light thatthey promise that the work will be done when you pick the car up and its not. Im still waiting to see a copy of the warranty ii was promised would be posted and to see if they actually serviced the car as statef on the vardy used car promise.what vardy dont take into consideration is that my wife daighter and son are all drivets own their own cars and that this is potential loss of future custom and how word of mouth speaks volumes none of use arnold clark any more due to poor service.

Hello I called Peter Vardy today the 18th of November, the call eventually answered by an assistant, then I was cut off the phone did go dead. I tried and tried to reach the Glasgow centre again and even tried ther automated service with out success. Eventually I did go back to the operator who did seem to know little about the service they offered. That said, I was eventually with a lot of patience from myself put through to a sales person . Poor service.

Floor manager very annoying, staff in place say they will leave you to look around and then follow you and absolutely bug the life out of you....worst experience dealing with car sales staff... felt as though they were pressuring you to buy a car, won't be back in to Peter Vardy Carstore again.

Just picked up my wife's vw golf from Glasgow Hillington carstore. Quality car, great price, great service. 1st time I have bought from Peter Vardy and would happily do so again.
