I recently bought a Fiat 500 from the Peter Vardy Vauxhall in Edinburgh. The salesman Hadleigh was amazing. But it was decided by the Manager that it would be better if I gave my car back to the finance company, it was agreed that they would ensure my car was in good condition before the finance company took it back, some of these were to put wheel trims on car and fixing stuff and bumps on the car.My car was brought back to me and the wheel trims weren’t on and the ones they gave me were too small. the Manager had assured me that if there were any problems then they would pay the finance company.When the finance company came to inspect the car they invoiced me for a bump on the car, worn carpet and some other items, totalling £379. I have since contacted him and he told me that there was nothing he could do. The whole point of me doing this was to save myself money each month for payment wise of my new car, I would have been as well taking on the higher monthly payments instead of now having to find £379.

Promised everything at sale. After got car not interested. First week had fault. Waited 2weeks to get booked in and after 5weeks get it back minus 20litres of fuel. Phoned numerous times about various problems and things we where promised from salesman which never materialised as they said he has left the company. Way too many complaints to write here as I am sick of them , so I defiantly will never be back near them again.

I bought a Vauxhall Astra 3 months ago from Peter Vardy Edinburgh Vauxhall. I made a deal on the following conditions,a full tank of diesel, one years tax instead of 6 months and free Astra car mats (usually £50). When arriving to pick my car up there was a minor scratch on the rear bumper. I was told it would be a simple repair and they would repair free of charge. So I took the car away that night. After driving away from the dealership I noticed the free Astra car mats where missing. After a 2 week wait my car was finally booked in to have the scratch repaired. From what I can tell it wasn't painted they only polished the bumper as the scratch is showing now. On the way to drop the car off, the indicator lens on the side panel broke I had to remove it. I told the salesmen I wasn't happy and I expected a replacement. He then informed me they didn't have one in stock and I would be posted one. 3 months later I'm still waiting. I visited my local Vauxhall dealer they had one in stock it cost £6. So after owning this vehicle 3 months the warranty was coming to a end, about 3 days. Before the warranty ran out the car went in to limp mode. I phoned the garage as soon as this happened. The car was booked in on Monday 7th September. The car would still have been under warranty on this date. But the Saturday before I was phoned to cancel my appointment. The next available booking was Friday 11th September. However the would be out of warranty then. So after dropping of the car, I received a call to say the car needed a software update. At a cost of £76. I explained I was not happy about paying for it as it should be covered by the warranty. I was told Peter Vardys used car warranty does not cover this. Peter Vardy were excellent until I parted with £10000 cash. Then they come across as if they couldn't care less. I found the after sales disgraceful. As a result I would not recommend this company and never return as a customer.
