Contacted by on line sales about a car we were interested in. Price on Autotrader and Peter Vardy website was £10,500. Paid a deposit and booked a slot to test drive, On arriving, car not prepared for driving and still in work shop... not to worry, deposit is paid and we like the car and prepared to wait. Took a call from on line sales to say ...oops sorry the car is actually £14,500. A mere £4000 more. So in short, the email confirming our purchase and price is not being honored by Peter Vardy. 2 hours of our lives we will not get back, wasted fuel, time and energy. Shame on you

Twice now I have gone to a Peter vardy carz garage to buy a car, been for a test drive then been told that it has just been sold while I was on the test drive. Are people just waiting for me to go for a test drive and then buy the car. Or is there something else? Don't think I will ever use Carz again they should know before you arrive if the car is sold.

Almost bought a 19 plate car ,trading mine in, online valuation was reduced by the dealer by 4% for very minor issues, however I test drove a car and chose a similar one in the colour I wanted, but was in Aberdeen, reached agreement with the salesman but deal was scuppered by a manager in the Motherwell showroom who queried why I wanted the colour I wanted , to buy from them even though they didn't have the colour I liked and the extended warranty I was willing to take, so 12 k deal off, be very careful, also they do not contact you even when they say they will.

Requested a video of a car and 48 hours later still no contact. £25,000 sale lost for them. If this is how they treat people before they but a car I can’t imagine how the after sales process is.
My son arranged to attend for test drive after seeing a car on their website. On attending he was advised car was currently under repair and proceeded to show him a car which was so badly damaged it was heading for the scrap heap. According to them it had be badly damaged in storage !!.. no mention when they phoned to make sure he was attending!!.Did they seriously think he was going to purchase a car at £8000 in this state??...Salesman just stood saying nothing obviously was prepared for my husband to be present.
I have just purchased my 3rd car from PV Motherwell. Each time I have experienced excellent customer service. Over the years any repairs, service / MOT needs were manged efficiently and without issue. Today Martin B provided the same excellent service, putting me quickly at ease with his friendly, courteous and professional manor. Treating me like a guest. The whole process was a pleasant and comfortable experience as my own circumstances, preferences and needs were listened to . Details and terms were also provided with clarity and honesty. One observation I did share on the day was that the showroom has an abundance of male sales staff, (females on reception and in offices with paperwork ) as many car sales environments do. It would be good to see more female sales persons. In this current climate I am aware too that individuals don't always identify as either but that's another survey all together. Thank you PV & thanks Martin. Pleasure doing business once again.

Sold xar with fault to brakes had car 5 month 2 months sitting at dealer as I raised a rejection of car as they had chances to sort it but failed but they never told the fianacr company and now I am left with car brakes getting changed again 2 times in 1800 miles

I sold my car here with the help from Scott, smooth transaction the money was in my account the same day. So happy was there no longer than 30 minutes & everything was all sorted for me. Would definitely recommend this company to family & friends :)
Everything was great at first, I bought a 14 plate vauxhall astra on finance and was in great nick had just been MOT and I love it and staff are dead friendly BUT I'm NOT happy at all with one issue. The day I picked it up from motherwell after driving back to my home city Edinburgh I noticed my rear brakes were squeaking but stopped when I pushed brake pedal or pulled handbrake up slightly so I think they are sticking a bit but it doesn't squeak all the time but it does it quite a bit at some periods of time and it is really annoying. I have had it back to them twice and they STILL have not sorted it the first time they just replaced all the pads and that didn't do any good and they said they didn't know what was causing noise when I specifically told them what it was and then the second time they just replace the handbrake cables which STILL hasn't sorted it AND I also had ran over a screw so I took it to a local garage to get it sorted but at the same time I also had to pay to get wheel alignment 2 days later sorted because I noticed a slight vibration at 60 to 70 mph on motorway after picking it up and I didn't hit any kerbs or potholes or that and I think it is an absolute disgrace it was sold to me with those two things even though the wheel alignment is sorted now but the point is THAT should have been checked and sorted before giving me it. I find that not proper standards for a dealership to be selling someone a car with things wrong with them even if it is just a couple of glitches because they should still get sorted because they can lead to bigger problems in future and as for the rear squeaky brakes I will be taking it elsewhere to get sorted since they have let me down twice and not fixed it and I'm also upset about this because I had enough bother with my last car and wasted enough money on it even though that wasn't from here.
